The cabinets were completed way behind schedule, and I was never contacted about the delays. I had to call over and over to find out what was going on. I was shown a sample of what they cabinets would look like with the stain but when they arrived they looked totally different. The stain was poorly done and the cabinets looked mismatched. It looked like they were done as quickly as possible without any quality control. Every step of the way I had to call to find out what the delay was. The cabinets themselves are good quality, but another professional cabinet maker looked at them and said he would never have allowed cabinets like that to leave his shop. It's all in the details. Would definitely never go with Courtland again.

First meeting went great. He was professional and arrived on time. Once we received copies of his sketches, there were a few errors, including one wall that was 3 ft. too long (either mis-measured or entered wrong in computer?) I called to get the plans revised and was told he couldn't drop everything to help me, that he had other customers too. I didn't ask nor did I expect him to stop what he was doing, but thought he would offer to meet with me again. I ended up going to his office to make adjustments on the plans, and didn't mind doing so. We talked about using a different wood that would save a few dollars. He said he would fix the sketches and include the price of the new wood, then email me the new estimate within 24 hours. That was on a Wed. When I still had nothing by Friday, I called and left a message. No response. Monday, I called again. Finally on Tues I received the email. There were still errors on the sketches and the price only went down $20! My confidence level has reached a low point. I waited another week to see if he would call before I started getting other bids. It's now almost 2 months later, and he still hasn't called to see if I want them to build my cabinets. Guess he didn't really want my business.

We would have appreciated a call back from him saying he didn't want the job instead of waiting for his bid. Communication was sorely lacking.

Went very well. They had to coordinate with another contractor who was doing the main part of a bathroom remodel.

We were pleased with the work. His work was very professionally done.They were very responsive and wanted to please.
