replacement windows
+ -1 moreShe came and gave bid of 670.00 and I accepted right then. She ordered windows and they came within 2 weeks. As soon as they arrived she called me and set a date for installation, which was the next day. She arrived with her son as a helper and they removed and installed both big windows within 6 hours that day. She cleaned up completely and I paid her and she left. Great job!
Description of Work: Took out two big old double hung windows and replaced with energy efficient double hung vinyl windows. She had to take off and put back on all framework around windows.

+ 1 moreCarolyn was receptive to any changes, of which I made a few. She volunteered some ideas for using space which worked really well. Very pleasant person.
Description of Work: added bathroom, remodeled old bath and added skylight.

Description of Work: I asked her to bid interior painting and flooring for a 1200 sq ft apartment. She came out promptly to do an estimate, then never submitted a bid. Did not return my call asking if she was going to bid.

Description of Work: She gave me a quote to replace two big single hung windows in my 100 year old home. She did the work herself and did an excellent job and for the exact price she quoted. I will definitely use her services again!

+ 6 moreShe was a bit late starting the job because her previous job ran over. I needed the old bath remodel done for a wedding and she worked long hours and even a couple weekends to make sure it was completed in time. Then she cleaned up the whole exterior work area the Friday before my company came, although I had not expected that. She was very professional and knew exactly what she was doing, yet worked with me to help me figure out the best ways to do things. She made suggestions and was extremely helpful in telling me about different products and ways to accomplish what I wanted. I am more than satisfied! I love both baths and am happy every time I look at either one. The entire job site was clean when she left each day and when she finished the job. MORE than earned her money!
Description of Work: Carolyn added a new bath and closet combination, with underfloor heating, tile floor and tile shower, and wood wainscoting. She also remodeled the old bath, replacing vanity, med. cabinets, fixtures, moved an electrical outlet, installed a skylight and repainted. The new bath abutted the garage and in the angle she put in (her idea) shelves with rounded edges. There was extra space at the end of the wall where the new shower went in (5' shower in 6'6" room) so she thought to move the shower to the outer wall and put built-in shelves in the wall in the adjoining room. Several other contractors were just going to leave 9" of dead space on each end of shower. The detail was consistently above what I was expecting. Very smart and creative. Great quality of work!
