+ -1 moreSince the water had been shut off, the urgency for the repair was greatly reduced. The initial fear was that the leak was inside the house. Since this is a vacation home, no one was living in the house. Without seeing the damage, I contacted Dave after reading positive reviews on Angie's list. He agreed to go to the house at 9:00am the next day. I made a trip out to the house to see the damage after contacting Dave. Happily damage was limited to some undermining of the foundation due to the water, but nothing inside was even wet. Dave arrived at 9:00 and determined the cause of the leak. By the time I arrived at 9:15, he had turned the water back off and was getting ready to replace the failed piping and cover the PEX with foam insulation to protect it from UV light until it could be recovered with fill. He was paid and gone by 10:15! While he was there, he covered two outlets for water heater overflow pans that were also PEX and exposed to the UV light.
Description of Work: Dave repaired a leak in the water line due to failed PEX piping installed by the original plumber. Exposure to UV light resulted in brittle piping that failed and leaked over 15000 gallons of water before the water was shut off. If a neighbor had not reported the leak, it would probably still be gushing out!

Description of Work: Fixed 2 dripping hot water faucets in June, then I had to order 2 sets of faucets for the master bath. They arrived in mid-Sept and he came right away to install them and fix a leaking toilet. He didn't charge me until everything was completed, which was 3 months because the order was so late in arriving. We are very happy with the work and they are also very nice to work with.

Description of Work: We had a plumbing leak underneath the house. Button Plumbing was able to come out quickly and fix the issue. They did have to make 2 trips because they didn't have a tool with them in the van. |They were friendly and very informative. Explained what was going on and how they fixed it. There were no "surprises" that suddenly upped the cost. |I didn't shop for prices, so I can't say how they compare. |I will use Button Plumbing again for future needs. They were responsive, friendly, and competent.

Description of Work: Mr button came on an emergency call.was on time very polite and went to work immediately! also fixed an additional issue free of charge. when he left you would not know he had been there. even swept floor where he worked.! BEST PLUMMER IN LINCOLN COUNTY!

+ -1 moreLong story short, my cement sewer line was both plugged and broken. The city had no idea where my pipe connected to theirs. The excavator uncovered the problem and made the repairs. It was the work and efforts of Dave Button who stayed on the job and contacted the right people for me. He went above and beond.
Description of Work: Ran snake down sewer cleanout. Next used camera and underground locator. Spent about 8 man hours over two days, followed up after with calls to city public works, and found an excavator to do a rush job (on his day off). Again checked back with me to make sure my drains were working again.

+ -1 moreThey two were here when he said they would be. Plumber was very careful to cut wallboard out so that it could be put back in. I have used this company twice and both times underestimated cost.
Description of Work: Cut wallboard to get at shower leak valve leaking and pipe bad. They replaced pipe and valve for both hot and cold connections. This is a man and wife team, Dave and Leslie Button.
