LOSLI FENCE & DECK PROS LLC

It went very well. I had five estimates from companies that I found on Angie’s List. Losli gave me the lowest estimate. The other companies would build a single privacy fence for more than Losli’s price for a double privacy fence which was twice the amount of cedar. He was very nice, because the original bid was for approximately. 420 feet. I opted to not fence the entire property because two of the neighbors would not share the cost with me at this time. Losli was okay with completing only half of the work that was estimated. I think he offered a lower bid to attract other jobs in the neighborhood. The communication was good. He was very professional. I also purchased two upgrades. One was for a 5x5 post instead of 4x4 posts so that it would last longer. For this change, we had to go with a 2x6 cap and he only charged only $150 extra. Even with this upgrade, the total cost for Losli’s services was lower than the other bids. The second upgrade was for galvanized staples and cost was $150 also. Those were upgraded, because they will not cause any bleeding or streaking on the fence from the staples in the rain. He gave me this upgrade bid before pricing these staples and they ended up costing him extra and he ate the difference because he is a man of his word and he has already priced them in his bid.

Wow! I couldn't be happier with everything about this experience. Jerry was prompt with his bid and once I decided to go with his company, he was here within two days to do the work. Friendly, professional, prompt, and informative, Jerry and his crew jumped into action and had the old fence (181 feet) down and loaded into their trucks within the first 3 hours. Post were set by the end of the first day and everything else was done by 1:00 PM on the second day. His crew cleaned up and left the yard in the same condition as when they arrived, except for leaving a beautiful new fence behind. Jerry went above and beyond to make sure that the fence was everything (and more!) than I had asked for when we originally talked.I would highly recommend Jerry and his team. The cost was lower than other bids I received and the work was exceptional! I would hire Losli Fence and Deck again in a heartbeat should a need arise.

The project went extremely well. Jerry was prompt with his bid, time estimate from start to finish was accurate, left the area clean and neat and even had to "entertain" curious and questioning neighbors. However what impressed us the most was his professionalism, fabulous customer service and friendly open nature. He took time to explain how he was going to approach certain difficult areas in the yard and asked our opinion halfway through if it met our expectations. We were delighted and have to share this is the best experience we have ever had. We are very happy with the work and will contact him later this year for another project.

Jerry Losli gave us an estimate a year ago, and when we were finally ready to build a slightly different fence style, he came back to update the bid and answer our questions. He is very conscientious and easy to communicate and work with, and he wants you to get the project done the way you want it. We set a start date that was convenient for us, so we could be home during the build to deal with any questions that came up. I'm glad we did that, because there were questions that they had about our preferences, and questions that we had about details.. When they had a question about what we wanted, they explained possibilities and did not rush us. The first day Jerry, Brad, and one other worker were here at 8 am, and deliveries and work began smoothly. The three of them worked until 4 or 5, and finished nearly all the posts and rails. The next day Brad and the second worker were here at 8 am, and worked steadily and efficiently, and as quietly as possible considering they were using staple guns. They put up most of the boards. As the work progressed I heard the reduction in road noise which was important to us; it made the cars sound farther away. The third day Brad completed the fence in the morning, and Jerry came by later to make sure we were satisfied. He gave us some tips about the staining that we will do, even responding to our email about that after the job was done. The fence is very well-made and attractive; neighbors are complimenting us. We're very satisfied.

Jerry came out right away to give a quote on modifying our deck on 7/1. We wanted a lattice wall put up to block out the house next door when on our deck. After a conversation it was decided that this could be done along with making some other modifications to improve deck access. A price was agreed upon that night after receiving a bid via email. A work date was set. On the work day, Jerry showed up in the morning and showed me the materials he planned to use. Work went without any issues. He put up two 8' lattice panels, along with 3 poles that were not only cemented into the ground but also attached to the deck with bolts. The lattice was framed and securely attached. The old railing was taken down as it was not needed. A wrap around step was added in place of the old step and railing. Now we have a great view of the back yard without looking through unneeded railings. Excellent work and we are very happy with our newly modified deck. Jerry is very nice to talk with and is very helpful in offering suggestions. We will have him back again if we decide any other changes our needed.

Everything went well. The estimate was through and the work was extremely well done. Even though it was necessary for me to delay construction for a few days my requests were met with pleasant professonalism and courtesy. The final product was better than I expected.

We had an excellent experience with Losli Fence and Deck from beginning to end. We needed to have a very complicated deck resurfaced, changing out the cedar for PVC. The deck has two levels and the top level is very high off the ground. Additionally, the staircase connecting the two levels needed to be rebuilt and we wanted our front porch resurfaced as well. Jerry Losli came to our house immediately to give us a bid and prepared the bid very speedily. Communication with Jerry was excellent. During the period where we were considering alternative bids we e-mailed Jerry several questions and always received a reply immediately. The Losli bid was not the lowest, but it was quite competitive. The combination of a very competitive bid with a very responsive contractor was what led us to hiring Losli for our deck construction. We did not regret the decision. Upon getting the job, Jerry sat down with us and our calendar and penciled the job in at a time that was convenient for us and promised to have the job done in two weeks. Jerry stuck exactly to that schedule and was finished on time. He came with a crew that was dedicated to our job and they finished exactly within the time we had agreed upon. There was no trouble at all during the construction period, the crew was very good with our neighbors, and the crew cleaned up after themselves in an excellent manner. The job done was high-quality and we are quite pleased with it. The staircase rebuild was quite complicated and Jerry took great care to get it just right and to make sure we were happy with his design. Jerry also took immediate care of a couple of minor details that came up after the job was finished. Everything that was done from the beginning bid right through to the finishing details gave us complete confidence that we were with a quality company. One additional note: Jerry was very aware of our concerns about the possibility of liens during construction. He explained the notification process to us carefully and even had the lumber company call us when he had fully paid his account with them–an example of the care he takes with his clients.We would hire him again in a heartbeat.

I am happy with their work. I think they were good and they did what I wanted. When I had a suggestion they listened to me. I have no idea about others; I paid for what I got. I thought they were very pleasant and professional. The weather was lousy but they didn't complain about it. They walked around in the rain and did the job.

We received estimates from three of Angies List highest-rated deck and fence installation companies. Jerry Losli quickly scheduled an appointment to do an estimate within a couple of days of my request. He came as scheduled and took enough time to thoroughly review the necessary repairs and provided a prompt bid, as promised. His bid was competitive with the other two and we felt most comfortable with his professionalism and responsiveness. Jerry was able to fit us in his schedule within a couple of weeks of our request. He and his associate worked for several days on our improvements and we were delighted with the results. All work was professionally installed and he even hauled away some debris from a fence removal project we ourselves had done. We plan to use Losli to replace our aging wood fence when we have agreement from our neighbors.

Jerry was awesome. He responded to my request for an estimate the same day I wrote it and was out the following Monday. He was professional, knowledgeable, and patient. His estimate for the work was not the cheapest, but it was very reasonable, and we felt confident after having spoken to him. Additionally, we needed two steps built, which he did for free. He gave us a very neat, beautifully drawn estimate and was very helpful and patient when we were getting approval for the work from our HOA. Jerry had the materials delivered to our house the one business day before he began, and had the entire fence finished in a day and a half. Both he and his workman were extremely industrious and it was fascinating to watch them work so speedily and accurately. Due to a mix-up with the checkbook, which was completely my fault, Jerry had to return later for his payment. He was gracious and didn't appear the least bit put out, though I know he had to be. He was the consummate professional and his work shows his talent and expertise. I would recommend him to anyone needing any work done.

Jerry Losli was prompt in responding to my request for a bid and showed up on time for the bid. We agreed on the work to be done, the price, and the date to start. He and his crew showed up on time and completed the job very quickly. He was respectful of my neighbor who shares the fence as well. During the project he texted me 3 photos showing me the demo, half-way mark, and completed fence. It was rather fun to get these progress reports while I was at work. I was not home during the project and felt completely comfortable that he was honest and professional. He even fixed a faulty latch on a gate for me as a courtesy. Jerry is very personable and easy to work with. He never tried to upsell me on anything which I greatly appreciated. I have asked for a bid on a deck now. I highly recommend this company.

We had been considering fencing one long side of our yard for quite some time, so we took our time in selecting "just the right" fencing company. That certainly is the truth about Losli Fence and Deck. In every instance, Jerry was extremely prompt and professional. He offered us several options and did not pressure us to hurry with our decision. After talking with several other companies, we knew that Losli is the company to call to build fences. I was amazed with the efficiency of the entire process, and boy is our neighbor happy as well. There is much value added to both properties. The yard was completely cleaned up when the job was completed (shrubs, weeds, blackberries and ivy either moved or removed to install the fence in a straight line). Our property slopes and I had not given this any thought. They stair stepped the fencing - what a great feature it is.

The crew (inclucing Jerry and Jeff) worked well together and were very professional and worked hard. I was impessed.

We are extremely happy with the finished product. The guys did a marvelous job, were prompt, courteous and cleaned up after themselves and stayed on budget. They knew what they were doing and performed the job with quality worksmanship. We would highly recommend Losli Fence to anyone looking to do fence or deck work and can't wait to hire them again for the northern side of our property!

What a great experience we had working with this company! Professional from the beginning to the end of the job. The guys showed up exactly when they said they would and finished the job within the given time frame. They worked with us to build something that would both meet our needs and code restrictions. They matched the design of the exsiting deck beautifully. We were more than pleased with the excellent quality of their work, friendly attitudes and tremendous work ethic. Would highly recommend hiring this company.

The overall job went very well. They had the material delivered on site on a Friday evening for a job that was to start on Monday morning. Monday morning, their first task was to locate the property marker pins. They couldn't find the pins because they didn't exist. Rather than starting the job, they recommended that we get surveyors to demarcate the property lines. The fence material was blocking the garage, so they moved all the material out to the back, so we could use the garage while we waited for the surveyors to come and mark the property lines. The surveyors finished their job on wednesday, Jerry and crew(3 guys in total) started to build the fence on Thursday morning at 7 A.M. My wife worked from home that day. Any deficiencies she noted were taken care of while they built the fence. My wife also mentioned that our neighbors did question them about various aspects that involved touching their existing fence. Apparently they did a good job handling the situation withou complaining to us. Our canny neighbor even got some minor fence repair done. Some of our sprinklers had to be relocated a few feet as they were actually in another neighbors property. I still need to verify whether the sprinklers still work. They were done with everything by 5 pm. After I came back from work I noticed a few gaps underneath the gate and a small sloping section. I called Jerry about this and he was ver prompt in following up with fixes the next day. Very impressed with the attitude of taking good customer care. I'm still nervous about how the gaps underneath the sloping fence will grow over time. But, the fence today is looking good and hopefully we can grow and eat our vegetables without the rabbits and deer getting to them before us.

We decided to go with Losli to install a new fence around the perimeter of our small new back yard that we were having landscaped (leveled w/ retaining wall) by another contractor. We had called for a quote, and Jerry and his business partner (one does the decking and one does the fencing I think) stopped by either that day or the next to look the site over. We liked them the best, very friendly, and they answered all our questions. They also were by far the lowest bid we received. We asked that they work with out other contractor to schedule, as they needed to put the posts in after the retaining wall was built but before the yard was leveled, and then finish after the yard was leveled. So, they came out twice to do the job, both times while I was not there, and there were no issues or problems. We're very happy with our new fence!

We were very pleased with the workmanship. We found them easy to work with and willing to accommodate our wishes. They are diligent workers and were faithful to keep the deadline dates that they gave us. We gave them the freedom to create a design in the deck flooring and layout that showed their innovative style. They are very personable and trustworthy.

Jerry showed up promptly with his crew to begin work. We had a problem with the neighbors complaining about the lot line to the homeowners association. After already digging a few holes, Jerry put all of the fencing and concrete into my garage until we got final approval 10 days later. They squeezed us in the next day to do the fence, even adding on more than we initially decided. They had to work in the woods on a steep hill and decided the fence would look better with less gaps if they installed twice as many posts and cut the iron fencing. It was a lot more work, but he did not charge any more. I would highly recommend this company for their professionalism, attention to detail, and quality of work. All of the guys were so understanding when we had to reschedule and very pleasant to have around.

After recently purchasing a home we were in need of a fence to enclose the side yard. Since we are on a corner lot this area is very visible and I wanted a fence that would look good and not be "just a fence". I called the guys from the paper...the ones that advertise a lot...and got several people responding to my call....each with a different quote....one of them a thousand more than the previous estimator. So I turned to Angies list and found Losli. One call to Losli and I knew I had made the right decision. They led me to their website and guided me to pictures of what I would have as a finished product and gave me a rough quote on the phone. Since this was a new home purchase I had many delays in closing. Losli worked with me graciously through every delay and rescheduled. On the day they were to build my fence they showed up right on time with a fit crew. In four hours they built my 76 foot fence and it looks exactly like the pictures I was shown. And I must add there is no end to their friendliness. Need a fence...these are the guys. Best service I EVER had from a contractor. Ultra-friendly and professional at every step.

I was kind of crunched for time to get the work started. Jerry was able to come out very quickly at a time that was convenient for me. While he and his colleague took measurements, he answered all my questions about the job (wood, fence styles, replacing some parts, and more -- I had lots of questions). He quickly produced a very neat and readable estimate that showed the cost of each section, in case I wanted to save money by leaving some of the better sections standing. I ended up going with a different contractor, but it was a tough call because I felt that Jerry would have been very easy to work with.

Our fence was blown down by strong winds, and after looking closely, we realized that we needed an entire new fence due to rot. We searched Angie's List as well as other sources and found Losli and Co. with outstanding reviews, so we requested an estimate. They were extremely polite and informative during the estimate and it was very clear that these guys were professionals, so we booked them. They showed up sooner than expected (the sooner, the better for us) and the end cost was right on the mark with the estimate. The work was better than I've ever seen- solid, sturdy, and attractive. Without exaggeration, we have the most beautiful fence in the neighborhood, thanks to these guys. I would strongly recommend them and we definitely WILL request their help with any work that they do in the future. They are polite, professional, and very fair on the pricing. They even take the time to give you tips and ideas for maintaining your fence after the work is done.

When I sent an email asking to set up an estimate, Jerry was very attentive to set up an appointment. He and Jeff from Walter Bros. came out to give me a bid. They were very professional and not only listened to my idea but heard everything I said. The bid proposal was professional looking and came in right in the middle of the other two bids I got. I quickly had confidence in him and his partner that the work would be done not only with quality and integrity in mind, I knew they would be able to complete the job much faster with the two of them doing the work. I had a very good impression of them as a reputable hard working team and they showed great interest that they would build exactly what I had in mind. Once hired, we got a date set that worked for me and the contract signed. (about 3 weeks out) He and his partner were also very quick to get back to me with any concerns or questions I had. I would highly recommend Losli and Walter Bros. Construction to build any kind of fencing you have in mind. I have no doubt the same attentiveness and quality would be applied to a deck as they did my fence. And it looks great!!!

We took bids from 6 different decking building company's and I found that Losli Fence and Deck was very fairly priced compared to other company's. Even though they were not the cheapest we decide to go with them mainly due to the fact I was most comfortable working with them. We are very glad we did. I cannot say enough about working with them. They were so helpful in assisting us in picking out the right design and materials for our deck while considering our budget. They started and completed our deck before the original dates and for the agreed upon price, no hidden or additional charges. The finish deck looks great and I will be using them again in the future.

They came on time, removed our old fence/gate on one side of our yard and installed a new fence and gate. They even replaced part of the original fence that attached to the new fence at no charge. They cleaned up after themselves and made a nice, sturdy fence.
