Fisher Roofing

They did the work in one day and did an excellent job. They cleaned up after themselves and took great care to not ruin any of the landscaping. The people who did the work were very polite and professional. I would definitely recommend them to others.

Michael came out to give us a bid. He was very professional. He went out of his way to work within our schedule. He was kind enough to make his day longer, so that he could be here at the end of the day, when my husband could also be present. He was also patient when our two young children repeatedly interrupted our conversation. He presented the material well and answered all our questions. He kept in regular communication, without being bothersome. He also took time to answer questions I had regarding some of the other bids we received. I was very impressed with his service.

Michael came the following day after calling the company to give an estimate and some gutter options. He was very professional, punctual and friendly. Very informative as well as to my choices, costs, etc. Michael worked with me to a find a time that would be suitable and the work was started within 2 weeks. The roofing team was very professional, showed up on time and were very accomodating to our goings in and out of house. They took 1and 3/4 days to complete the work. ~ 4 days later the gutter guy came and placed gutter guards. we had a good rain storm after all this and I was concerned about one corner where the water was flowing over the guards instead of into the gutter. They came out the next day and corrected that area. All in all a great experience and would highly recommend Fisher Roofing. I had also had another estimate, but never met the gentleman who came to my house, just over the phone , and he just left me materials to read, and their cost was ~ 1,000 more.

It went great. I can't think of a single thing that could be improved on.....start to finish.

I took 5 five bids. Two failed to show up. Fisher Roofing was attentive to my needs from the beginning. They worked with me on price. Later, when an issue on financing costs came up, they immediately offered to split the difference. I like working with a company that is fair and works with me, so I immediately accepted. They showed up as scheduled with all manpower, supplies and equipment ready to go. They worked until 5:30PM and came in the next day and finished by noon. We had some rain shortly and the gutters backed up. Fisher dispatched a two man crew and they came out and took off downspouts and flushed the entire system. We had squirral gates on the old roof and after the job they came out and inspected and then dispatched a crew to beef up some flashing so squirrals wouldn't be a problem in the future. I didn't know Fisher Roofing before or anyone who had worked with them and I relied on how they presented their company and what I found out on Anglies List. I would trust them again.

We heard some dripping when we were watching a movie and, unfortunately, it was not the surround-sound; we had a leak. My husband climbed into the attic to inspect the damage while I renewed our Angie's List membership to begin researching roofing options and preferred contractors in our area. I also pulled up our home inspection from our purchase 4 years ago and it said that the roof would need replacement in 3 to 5 years...not a bad estimate. The interaction with everyone at Fisher Roofing could not have been better from the very first telephone call to discuss how booked out they were as we were concerned about the rainy weather to come. I was greeted professionally after 1 ring by a real person and was talking to our fantastic project manager, Jerry Tindall, the next day. We were presented with a written proposal and each detail was explained to us in a way that made sense -- we have never had to have a roof repaired or replaced before. Jerry was very great to deal with and he let us know that we did not need gutters and that there was a second leak and how they planned to fix it. He let us know the pricing difference and pros and cons between a repair of the leaks and the replacement that we knew we needed. He explained everything to us and interacted with us regularly during the process, confirming we were all on the same page before moving to the next step. The crew showed up on time and were very courteous and professional. They covered our landscaping and cleaned up after themselves and were very respectful of our property. They let us know what to expect before coming onsite, provided us with a list of local customers with the color and install date for us to view examples before making our color selection; everything went very smoothly. Jerry gave us regular updates during this speedy process (the team had the roof completely torn down, plywood replaced, felt down and the back half of the new shingles replaced by the end of the first day; they completed the job in the afternoon of the second day) and provided us with photos of the damaged areas so that we clearly knew what was being addressed. We have a skylight and they removed it and replaced the flashing - they really did a great job and had regular interaction with us every step of the way. The whole experience was a little frightening going in and they made it better than we imagined it could be. Everyone that we interacted with was professional and courteous, estimates were right on and competitve and they were so fast! We would not hesitate to recommend Fisher Roofing to anyone and everyone who needs their services -- thanks Jerry and team!

FIsher Roofing promply visited our site, and did a thorough evaluation. There was a strong recommendation to do the whole roof vs. a patch based on what they found. We were glad for the recommendation as there were 15 leaks onto the plywood which would have caused continued leaks. They advised us of the best materials to use to get a leak free install on a flat roof. With the leak, and poor weather, we were concerned about further damage. In just one day they checked their weather service, and found the next day would be dry. They changed their schedule to gather a whole crew together with 4 trucks and got it all done in one (dry) day. They did a couple extra things at a reasonable price. They gave a couple updates along the way. They only replaced the plywood that needed to be replaced to save us on the cost. Job well done.

They were responsive to the issues that came up as the install was going by. They showed up when they said they were going to show up. They cleaned up the left over scraps. I had a pretty in-depth list of the items I wanted them to execute and they executed all those. I had no issues with them. I had a very good experience with the company. I wouldn't really recommend anything. It went fine. I have been dealing with contractors for several years and all of them have something that they have to come back and correct. This was nothing out of the ordinary. This particular contractor just did a good job and followed up on everything that I basically required them to follow up on. Whoever would utilize them would have to utilize them in a manner that they would with any other contractor. I would consider using them in the future if needed.

They were reasonable. I had received three bids and theirs was very reasonable. It was a very complicated gutter project and they said they could do it, while other companies told me that they couldn’t. They had a good attitude. They got the done work earlier, but I was not notified that they were coming out. It was a little surprising that they came out. It sounded like they were juggling between projects. I will use them again in the future.

We chose not to go with them because they were the second highest bid of the four we received. Also, our neighbor used the company we did end up using. Fisher Roofing was punctual, but didn't get up on the roof and look at the roof in the same manner as the other service providers did. Because of this, I questioned the reliability of his estimate.

Entered with full contract ready to sign. Kept me informed as to when they would be there and how they would do the job (anchoring solor roof panels to new roofing). Office communicated plans to me whenever there was a change in schedule. The installation apparently went without a hitch, done quickly and looks nice. Ridge vent is larger then the previous ridge vent, and probably will more adequately ventilate the close space..

On time, prompt service and excellent work.

I had two equal bids One from Jim Fisher whom I had used before and another Large Local roofing company. We were really pushing to get everything "dried in" and weather secured. I had planned on using the other roofers simply because they were more local. However the individual I was dealing with seemed very dismissive (like our little job wasn't important). So I called Jim Fisher and even though I had really given them No Lead time they treated my need to get a roof on as though I were someone important. Communication was professional yet personable. Every detail was covered (and I'm picky). The tear off was done neatly, the new roof was installed perfectly and they understood my need to have them come back later as my remodeling would result in some new bathroom vents and moving the weather head... They came back and took care of these at no charge. I can not say enough about how seriously and professionally Jim Fisher roofing took care of my needs. I wouldn't consider anyone else to roof my home

The insurance company recommended them and they agreed to pay for about 1/4 of the roof. After talking to Jim Fisher I realized that it was better just to have the whole roof and gutters done instead of trying to match the roof. They were highly competitive and did quite a satisfactory job. Quite honestly they were not my first choice but the insurance company got Fisher. They convinced me that they were the right company and they were very professional. They had a crew of guys and did a workmanlike job. I had told them I was worried about the flashing because it had leaked in the past and they took special precautions. I have been satisfied. Their price was totally fair. They gave me at 35-year warranty and did the work in a couple of days. There is nothing about them that I would really criticize. There was a big piece of metal left in the yard but I didn't call them on that. They did a fine job. They were totally professional. I had not totally sure about the price.

They did a good job, but they didn't find the leak. They did a good job repairing the roof.

From the first phone call to the office, to the first visit/estimate, to finished product, I experienced not only professional but very nice people. We are very satisfied with the finished work, and will definitely hire this company again, and plan to use them to replace the roof in a few years.

They repaired any damage that the roof had acquired in 22 years or so. While they were here, they came to our house, went up on the roof and checked everything out. They resealed a couple of vent pipes and took care of whatever that was needed to be done. I had 4 or 5 companies that came out; the bid of these guys wasn’t the lowest but I just had a feeling that they were going to do the kind of work that I would do if I was going to do it myself. They did an excellent job. They responded really well to our requirements. They had a punch list where they wrote down everything that was needed to be fixed, and then they went about fixing them and scratching them off the list. Their follow up service was excellent. We spent something like $4000 or $5000, and it was well worth it. I would rate them highly and would use them in the future, if necessary.

Overall, it went very well. I know nothing about roofing or the business, but having had four estimates, I began to learn a bit more with each estimator's visit, so that when I chose Jim Fisher Roofing and watched them at work and saw the results, I felt that it was a good job done in a professional and workmanlike manner. The estimator, who also has worked as a roofer for many years, was Roy Parker, and he worked with a team of 5 or 6 men who all seem to work well and efficiently together. He, and the others, were professional, respectful, very prompt, and I am pleased with the results.

They came in and did the work they said they were going to do. They were very professional and cleaned up after themselves. I would highly recommend them.

They did the whole job in 2 days and installed the new gutters a few weeks later. The only problem we had with them was the front downspout was put on crooked - they came and fixed it but it took a lot of phone calls on my part. The roof is still beautiful and it has been at least 5 years!

Good price, good cleanup, they were excellent across the board. They showed up quickly, did work well. Nothing but the best of things to say about them.

His true area of expertise is maintenance of lawn and grounds. He offers services to commercial, residential and apartment complexes. I believe he thrives on honesty and customer satisfaction. He is willing to state his capabilities to assure customer expectations are met. He attempts to do it right the first time. He is a solo employee. Unfortunately, I do not recall the cost.

Overall some bad, some good. Garage roof leveled, porch roof rebuilt nicely. Project manager knowledgeable with good communication skills. Nice to work with. He seemed to understand my primary concern about a good roofing job around chimney, which has complicated lines. Tear off and dry-in done on a Friday. On Friday, I was introduced to a job supervisor who I was assured would supervise the roofing. I never saw him again. On Saturday, in pouring rain, two earnest, hard working young men roofed most of the house, even after it got dark, then finished on Sunday AM. They were unsupervised and could not reach the project manager on the phone to get direction on roofing around the chimney. They didn't have the skills to do it. Outcome: leaking around chimney, looks amateurish. Some shingles won't stay down. Probably lowers saleability of house, since it's first thing people see. Gutters don't flow well. Repair team sent out 2x. Came next day, but chimney area still looks bad and still leak

Once they eventually came to do the work, it went fine. But it took almost two months from the time I accepted their estimate until they eventually came to do the work. I had to call four times before I could finally get them to commit to a date. Once they gave me a date, they did show up on time.
