I was concerned that my radiant heat wouldn't transfer through the engineered oak that was put over old fir floors--Derek told me not to worry, that the system would work fine and he was correct--no problems at all. He and his crew were punctual, professional and fun to have around. They were very quick and a big job was done in less than a day with no hitches--the floors look beautiful. My house was taken care of, my dogs were treated well, everybody had a good time and life's order has been restored. I would recommend this company highly to everyone.

Right from the start Derek was so nice and such a good listener. He wrote down everything I said and asked questions if he was unclear about anything. The employees that he assigned to the job, Clint and John, were wonderful! Anytime I came out to see how things were going I would find that special things were done that, had I ordered it, would make the job far more expensive. We weren't charged extra for anything. John and Clint were so meticulous in their work it made me feel as though, when they were finished, we would be looking at a masterpiece painting. Any adjustments I requested or if I changed my mind it was no problem. Clint and Johns were very respectful around my garden. Any gardener, when there's someone working in or around your garden, immediately starts to tighten their butt cheeks out of stress and fear. If only there were a million of Clint and John I think the world might be just a little prettier. Now, when I'm out in the front gardening, anyone walking by and stops to compliment me on my fence. I've heard wives, as they were leaving, say , "When we get a house THIS IS THE KIND OF FENCE I WANT!" I've become the envy of Beaverton! On a side note, John had asked us how we came to move from Beaverton from Los Angeles. I told him our story and it seemed as though he was working extra hard to make me happy. I don't think there was anything they could have done to make our experience any better. I would go so far as to say, IF YOU DON'T HIRE THIS COMPANY YOU'RE A FOOL. After contracting with Empire Flooring and getting screwed with a lot of damage done to our home we decided to use Dimension One Flooring. We were contacted by the owner, Derek. He came out and gave us an estimate for the entire house which was the same as Empire Floors for half the house which we were satisfied with and decided to proceed with this company. We were very impressed by Derek and his team of workers. They came into our home and completed the job in one day in a very professional manner and fixed all of the damage created by Empire Floors. I have never worked with a company that takes as much pride in thier work as Derek and his crew. Since the flooring has been put in we have had numerous friends and family over and they were all impressed by the quality of work that was done and some plan on contacting this company for their own homes. The crew did an excellent job of cleaning up after the job was complete. We plan on having this company back for other jobs as needed. Bottom line is if you want a good job done with an excellent outcome, Derek at Dimension One is the company to call. Hats off to Derek and his crew.

Our number one complaint is that the granite tiles on the edge of the kitchen counter started falling off less than a year after the work was performed. As each tile falls off, it is easy to see the little blob of thinset that was applied to the back of the tile. Even an amateur do-it-yourselfer would have done a better job of troweling thinset on to the back of each tile. We glue them back on, because I don't have time to grind off the old thinset and mix up a new batch every time a tile falls off. We called Dimension One and explained the problem. They said they'd get back to us, but we haven't heard from them. Very disappointing.

Dimension One came to our house on time every day, performed the job in a satisfactory and timely manner. My only complaints with the company is that before demo of the existing floor, they did not afford us time to cover furniture with painter's plastic, so we had quite a lot of dust to deal with, even after they cleaned up. Also, the tile cutter splashed material onto a number of outdoor plants without rinsing the foliage of residue, which hardened onto the leaves. But overall, the job was met with satisfaction. The craftsmanship in the laying of tiles shows. We have a beautiful floor now!

They have done an excellent job. We keep on having them come back to do more work.

Derek came out and looked at the mess that the other contractor from Lowe's had done and recommended to Lowe's that the floor be totally replaced. Dimension One Flooring showed up and did an outstanding job. They worked hard and fast to get it done in order to get the floor done before the holidays. They did such a wonderful job that we had them tile our guest bath. They were really nice and very friendly. Couldn't believe they got the job done so fast. Derek told me things to do to keep the tile looking nice and protecting it. I know this was years ago, but I just needed to let everyone know that their work last. The floor looks the same as it did the day they installed it.

From the moment we met Derek, we were sold. He was professional, friendly, and personable. He took an interest in our project, answered all of our questions, and was even friendly to our cat. Though it took months to get our product from a different vendor, Derek kept in touch with us and was ready to install just 11 days after we called to tell him we'd received the materials. (He couldn't fit us in any earlier because this popular professional was booked solid.) His crew arrived early the morning of the installation. They were friendly and reassuring from the start. The team's easy communication and camaraderie made them amazingly efficient in their work. They were polite and treated the job in our home with even greater respect than we would have imagined. Derek led his team with calm and confidence. Overall, the job was finished in less time that estimated and at cost. The installation was extremely well done. The level of detail in the finish work was impressive. We are already planning to use Dimension One Flooring for our next flooring project.

We were very happy with our experience from start to finish. Derek really cares whether you, the customer, are happy or not and he goes the extra mile to make things happen. He kept in touch with us throughout the entire process, even though we were out of town for part of the time. He and his crew were timely, polite, professional and know their business. We certainly had a positive experience and we easily recommend Dimension One Flooring.
