+ -1 moreWe had Randy inspect house with EIFs problems. He told us the rest of the house was good but as work went on for over 7 months there was continued "problems" and ended up being very expensive. He decided we had deep pockets and kept finding issues that needed repairs. DO not use

+ -1 moreIt was a seamless process. He found three areas that showed some moisture damage. He then came back two days later and did moisture probing which is not included with the inspection fee. He carefully probed the three areas and found that the moisture readings were insignificant to warrant any further testing. Randy does not do the repairs, so he is not identifying problems to try to get the repair job. I contacted him on a Thursday and he fit me in on the following Monday. All other vendors took a long time to respond with just a proposal. I highly recommend him.. He has a great work ethic and he is very personable and explains things to a person who is not familiar with stucco or construction issues. He also said he would gladly talk to the people we hire to do the repairs to make sure they clearly understand what needs to be done.
Description of Work: We are in the process of buying a home that has stucco siding. Randy Magley came to the property and did a thourough inspection of the house and he includes a comprehensive report on identifying what type of stucco was used, how the product has aged, any problems with the stucco, and recommendations on any repairs if needed, and the next steps involved if there are problems. His inspection took 3 hours and the stucco siding was only on the front of the house. There was no hourly rate and he identified other issues that were beyond the scope of the inspection.
