The company is very easy to do business with. They are very knowledgeable about their products and helpful in finding the wood best for your needs. The price is fair. The wood is kiln dried and of good quality. It is my understanding they provide wood to several restaurants in the Portland area. The owner, Judy, delivered the wood herself and is very friendly. She returns phone calls promptly. I have to give a "B" on punctuality, only because delivery was delayed a bit because the company was having issues with their truck. Would certainly use again!

It took the company 2 days to respond to a voicemail left, and while waiting I attempted to contact them multiple times during normal business hours. I never was able to get an answer, although a nice young man called me back and provided pricing after I had already found another firewood provider. He was very informative, polite, and professional, however the prices were not at all competitive. The company wants nearly $100 more per cord, plus $50 to deliver and dump. My advise: these guys would be great if you want to pick up the wood yourself and are in a tight spot and need to hold over through the winter. Otherwise, keep it local, keep it simple, and work with an individual you trust. The firewood business can be shady at times, and I trust these guys would provide exactly what they advertise, but you pay a little more for that trust.

I talked with the owner Judy when I was calling for quotes. Her first great question was' is the wood for a fireplace or woodstove?' The reason being she adjusts the type of wood accordingly. She did the delivery, was on time and very professional. The cord of wood was well seasoned, dry, clean and a good size to stack easily.

Locating the business was tricky but was well worth the adventure. I called the Oregon Fuel and Firewood to find out their prices. The receptionist gave me a rough estimate. Arrived at Oregon Fuel and Firewood, the office personel guided me to the person in charge of the firewood. Met with the wonderful gal that handled the firewood and she assisted me gathering wood that I was looking for. She even threw in several specialty wood that were not a part of the firewood package,

The wood is high quality, but unfortunately still half green. It needs to be seasoned one more year. It's difficult to start, although with a hot fire it burns fine.

Did a good job in getting me informed of delivery time. Since there where some problems with on time delivery I was given a small discount on the total costs. This was done on initiative of seller.

My husband coordinated this process. He took a half day off from work as they said they would deliver on Tuesday. Mechanical problems with vehicle so they rescheduled the next day. The wood was delivered as promised, on time and was I think more than a cord. Good quality and clean, dry and the right size. We had our first fire this past weekend and were thrilled with the way that it burned. i.e slow and hot. So other than the one day delay we are very pleased and would use this company again for firewood. NOTE: my husband was very accommodating when they explained about the vehicle problem I am not sure if they would have found an alternate way to deliver if he had been insistent. I am sure that they may have thought he had the flexibility.

The wood was delivered on time, but it was wet and dirty. It was cut and split, as stated, and seems like more than a cord; but much of it is in the 16'' to 18'' range and so is big for our stove. Also, the wood is seasoned, as stated, but it's been almost two weeks now since delivery and some of it still isn't dry.

The wood was high quality and bone dry. Best load of wood we've ever gotten. Logs were 1/4 split and there was very little debris left after we stacked the cord.
