Description of Work: install a new roof and gutters

Description of Work: I hired Dr Roof to replace my leaking roof at the Oregon coast. It took about six weeks from the time I signed the contract until they started working on the roof. This is a vacation home and I was not living there at the time. They started work on Tuesday and I received a call from them on Wednesday stating the work was completed and the invoice was sent that day by e-mail. I went to the house the next day and to my surprise the work was not done and they were working on the roof. A little while later a supervisor showed up looking for his crew who were supposed to be working on a another job. He told the crew to hurry and finish so they could get to the other job. The front porch and a skylight were the last items they finished. After they left I discovered black tar wheel marks on my composite walk and porch which I tried to clean but could not. Then I noticed that the front porch shingles was totally out of alignment which was very noticeable. There were also visible nail heads on the ridge cap. I called the company and they cleaned the walk, but discolored it in the process. I called again about the front porch and a week later they covered the nail heads with roofing tar. I again complained about the misaligned shingles on the front porch, but still nothing has been done. About a week after this I arrived one day to find water on my bathroom floor which was caused by a leaking skylight, the skylight that was the last one they were working on. Once again I called the company. They came out and discovered that they had not seated the skylight correctly resulting in the leak. Fortunately this was fixed before there was significant rain which would have damaged the bathroom. I was very disappointed in this company, they are more interested in getting the work done than in doing it right. I feel the sloppy work was done because the men were pushed to work to quickly to get to the next job. I plan on writing a letter to the company to get the front porch redone correctly. If that does not work I will file a complaint with the contractors board. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
