BEST HEATING & COOLING

Kirby was very professional and came out right on time to do an estimate on replacing my 46 year old electric furnace with a new Carrier Hi Efficiency gas furnace and I also wanted to add Air Conditioning as well. Kirby looked everything over and answered all of the questions I had, and I had a lot of them too. I also had a problem with my return air duct. For one it was filthy dirty, and it was broke apart in two places and was only taped together and was pulling in attic dirt, heat and cold into the old furnace. Kirby gave me time to do what I wanted to do before a new furnace was set in place. I had Best Heating & Cooling reinstall my return air duct and they screwed it together and foil taped the seams like I wanted it done. Don’t hesitate to call Best Heating & Cooling because I had 3 other bids done and after talking with Kirby not only did I trusted what he said, Kirby spent the most time with me addressing all my concerns more than any other estimator that showed up. Bottom line is, I got the Carrier products I wanted at a fair price from Best Heating & Cooling. Thank You Kirby! On the day of my new HVAC installation I was contacted by Chuck at Best Heating & Cooling and he informed me that he and his crew were on their way out. They arrived right on time and I met the installers which consisted of Chuck, Jose, & Malcom. These guys all worked great together. Each one knew what to do and what was needed to get done and stayed on task with the job. Chuck was an amazing lead man and answered all of the questions and concerns I may have had. I watched over the job progress and how everyone was doing and it’s amazing how much work three men can get done in a short amount of time, reason being because they are professionals and everyone knows their role. Jose did a great job working with Chuck on the furnace install and Jose did the AC unit and the roof venting as well as reconfigured the return air duct working together with Malcom in the attic to seal and secure my new return air duct just like I wanted it done. No one complained or had an attitude. They just did their jobs and seemed happy to be there working. When the crew cleaned up everything and left even my wife complemented on how well everyone worked together and no bad language or disrespecting anything. I could not ask for a better group of guys to come out and work for me. I got along with everyone and it was a pleasure to have met these men. Thank You, Chuck, Jose and Malcom!

They installed a new furnace for us more than 10 years ago, and we were happy to have them do work for us again. From bid to installation, we have been impressed. Came on time, professional, friendly, courteous, cleaned up . . . perfect.

They were there about an hour. They know what they are doing, come when they call and squeeze me in when they can. The minimum cost is a little high but it is not fair to dinge them on that because they are a little far away.

Awesome! Great all around, great customer service, prompt and on time for all appointments. Friendly and very knowledgeable about use and product. They explained how to use our new unit thoroughly. I highly recommend Best Heating and I know we will use them for any future services.

It was great because he charged me to come out but then showed me how to clean it and then let me do it. I was concerned about cost and so he gave me the choice. He said, I'm all the way out here, I'll have to charge you the time to come out of course however, if you would like to clean it yourself, I'll explain how, otherwise, if you would like us to clean it, we certainly can. I opted to be told how to do it myself and they were on their way. They were professional and friendly and I would use them again.

This is a good place for heating and AC needs. I was satisfied with their work. They were great. They did a good job with installing the AC. They were very accommodating and the price was reasonable.

The guy asked me if I smoked and and I told him yes and he told me that every time I breath on the thermostat would make it change. I have never used him again.

We were hearing a funny noise coming from our heater, and had a friend who works on such equipment come over, and told us what couple of things it might be. He suggested we call someone with an ad indicating that they work on our brand of heater, since they will have access to all the right parts. We chose Best Heating entirely because they were the ones with previous positive ratings on Angie's List. We were not disappointed. They showed up right away, and had already put on the booties that cover their shoes to protect my rugs and floors. The technician was very friendly yet professional, very knowledgeable, worked efficiently and told me what my options were. Turns out our heater was juuuust about to go out, and right before Christmas! I was super worried it wouldn't be fixed in time, but the fellow got right on the phone in front of me to find out how soon they could have the part in. He got them to find one and rush it there in ONE day! They came back right away and replaced the part, and got our heater running smoothly again. It was a huge relief for me and our family. The part was NOT cheap, but it's just the cost of owning a home, and I thought the labor rate was reasonable. It was the first time in 7 years we had had to call for any work on our heater. Now, the guys at Best Heating will continue to be our technicians on this appliance. The negative thing I can think of is not making a follow-up call right away to make sure I didn't have any follow-up questions or to make sure everything was still working properly. It wouldn't have been a necessary call, but still nice. They did end up calling about two months afterwards. At that time, I also inquired about some additional services and they were nearly immediate in getting back to me with a cost-estimate, so I really have no complaints. All around great service, and super nice people to boot.

My A/C has been out for about 2 years and I called them during a hot spell and they were out the next day and found a simple problem and repaired it. I liked them enough I got a quote and then had them install an electronic air filter system in the house. Then I had the A/C at work quit and called them and again during a hot spell they were prompt and found a simple problem and repaired it quickly.

I think they knew what they were doing. They were reliable and professional. I would use them again. I have used them twice in the last year and had positive experience both times.

We had a freestanding LP stove installed which required the removal of an old wood freestanding stove and new ductwork and chimney cap. The crew showed up exactly as promised and worked in some very inclimate weather. They were very particular about their work and clean up. They also removed a very old Wolf Range that weighed 700 pounds for me at no extra charge. They were exact on their estimate, no hidden surprises, and exact on the date of completion. We had to have all new LP lines run underneath the house which has very limited crawl space and they did this as well. Everyone was very pleasant, prompt and just did a wonderful job. I will not even call anyone else for further work of this type. This was a very refreshing experience as I have had many horrible contractor experiences in the past 10 years. This Hampton stove was to be a secondary heat source and it performs so well it is the primary source now for a 2 story home...go figure.
