August was great ? his bid range was what I expected, with the final cost dependent on how many posts needed to be replaced. The final cost was less than the low end of the bid...that was a nice surprise! Because of my work schedule, all our communication was via email. August sent regular updates about the progress of the project, which I really appreciated. This was a small project, but August gave it as much attention as might be expected on a much larger project. Based on the work ethic and professionalism, would I call August for the next project? Absolutely!

I got a quote from August on 18 windows (6 picture sized) & 4 patio doors. He answered the phone always & drove by our home for an initial look because we both work alot. We appreciated him doing that so we didnt have to take time away from work for this type of thing & make an official appointment. He gave us his honest advice stating that he wouldnt beat the Home Depot bid because he himself goes thru them for his product. We went with Home Depot after 6 bids. The end result with Home Depot was terrible & took 4 months to complete. Horrible experience. I have a feeling August may have been a little more expensive but would have completed more well & quickly. Thanks for your time August!

August, did a great job on communicating and scheduling with us during the remodel. Great problem solver, such as removing the 400 pound tub that wouldn't go down a flight of stairs. Very attentive to earn our full satisfaction.

August responded the day after my inquiry with a phonecall after I had desperately begun hacking at an old doorframe leading upstairs. I needed a very basic doorway opening reframing after height adjustment and basic drywall for a bottom line price after I purchased a new mattress and bed frame that wouldn't fit up our steep stairway. Whoops. The framed site and adjoining walls were lathe and plaster, making me feel that I couldn't quite handle the project on my own. He promptly came up with a bid and returned the next day to complete the work. August removed the old door frame leading upstairs to allow us to get a queen sized bed up that crazy, steep staircase, reframed the opening at a higher height and did a rough drywall/mudding of the new opening. Basic cleanup after job completion. Nice, basic work for a reasonable price, which allowed us to get that bed up to our second floor. Thank you!!
