The two guys who came in couldn't have been more polite and professional. They explained the process, worked around our family, and then showed me all the dirt/hair/lint that they had sucked up from their big machine.

The fellows were puzzled as to why we were having the ducts cleaned since they did not appear to be very dirty. We bought the house three years ago and had the ducts cleaned then. They wanted to know if I really wanted to go ahead with the service. I explained to them that the house had just under gone a major three month remodel project that included a 1000 sq ft of new hardwood floor and new custom kitchen. Despite the two large filtration devices running during the project, the contractor recommended that the ducts be cleaned when the project was done. I told them to make sure it really was clean. There were other people doing work in the house and the fellows did their work quickly without disrupting the others. They cleaned up after themselves. They did a good job.

We were pleased with their honesty. They told us our ducts were clean and we didn't need the offer.

It turned out very well. I was very pleased with their work. They were super thorough and I always like to watch them work and they went into the cold air return and found some things that were a little bit of an issue so they had to work hard to clean it out. They went above and beyond I thought.

The Duct Guys arrived on time and went straight to work. They were courteous and professional, and we were pleased with the work they did. Kevin was very helpful in explaining the state of our ductwork, and he explained the special filter requirements of our furnace. The only issue was that they had to cut a hole in part of our furnace ducting to attach a piece of their equipment. When they were done, they patched and sealed the hole so it would be good as new. Since this was our first duct cleaning, I don't have any basis for comparison, but I would definitely hire The Duct Guys again.

They came out this morning to clean my air ducts but advised me that my air duct are in good condition and do not need to be cleaned at this time. They advised me to request for a refund on my Big Deal purchase. I will definitely call them when it comes time to get my air ducts clean since they were so honest with me!

They are a great group of people. They came out and informed me I didn’t actually need any work done. They are so honest and I found it refreshing to come across a company so honest to inform me of that. Due to not needing the work done, I have requested to cancel the Big Deal.

I am satisfied with their service, but no paperwork provided.

These guys are awesome! They showed up on time, and got right to work. We just bought a house and haven't moved in yet. The inspector suggested we have the ducts cleaned. Kevin and Devon found one of the ducts had a tear in it and some irregularities with the furnace. They repaired the duct and corrected the irregularities, then cleaned the ducts and dryer vent. Kevin even answered all of the questions we had regarding duct cleaning and even about dryer placement. We highly recommend The Duct Guys and will call them again.

They showed up on time and did not mess around. I have no complaints. Like all companies in this business they charge by the number of vents you have. I had six, which is not many, and the lengths of the runs were short. I think my longest was between 15 and 20 feet. One run went up to the second floor, so it was about 10 feet long, the others were shorter then that. It only took about an hour for two workers to do the job. I think my job was fairly easy; from what I understand some jobs take 3 or 4 hours.

Excellent! Not only were they on time, they called to see if they could come early. My kind of company! Great communication, great guys, Dereck and Mathew showed up at the house, introduced themselves and went to work. They covered all the vents except for one to create a suction in the duct system. At the closest vent to the front door, they used a long hose and attached it to a portable vacuum that sat right outside the front door. Then they went room to room and started cleaning. We had a few return air vents that also needed cleaning and they attached the large hose to the furnace vent itself to accomplish this. Carefully removing the pictures on the wall to access the system (it's an older home with the vent near the ceiling), they cleaned that system as well. (I will try to attach photos). After that was done, they started to vacuum each room but I told them not to bother as I was going to vacuum anyway. The original price quote was $292 for the vents and returns I had counted. Very thorough, they found more vents than I had noticed so the price increased slightly to $318. I'm ok with that. From start to finish, they were completely professional and I would highly recommend them.

Bought the advertised deal from this company because I figured that the $49 groupon offers were not going to be great service. It was easy to schedule with them, about a week and a half out. Tech (and owner) called an hour ahead of our time and said they were available early if I could meet them. It was two guys with a truck mounted system. They checked all my vents and then got to work. They found one vent hose detaching and went into the crawl space to fix it. The exterior dryer vent broke when they were cleaning. It was no fault of theirs, simply an old piece of plastic that has been sitting in the sun for 17 years. They told me I could get one at Home Depot and install it myself or they could do it. I think they said $15 or $20 bucks. Worth it for me to not have to add that to my "to do" list. I got a nice new vent which was an upgrade from my old one. Additional work and repairs were $65. They showed me the results of the job and didn't even make a comment about how gross my vents had been. Just the facts!!! Recommended another cleaning in 5 years, 2-3 for the dryer vent. I think they were done in about and hour and 45 minutes. The only reason that I did not rate the price is because I didn't call around for prices so I have no reference. My house definitely feels less dusty, though, and I would pay the same price again for that!

I purchased an Angie's List special they were offering for duct cleaning. I just moved into a home about a month ago and wanted to get things cleaned out before winter hit and I had to turn on the furnace especially since I have kids with allergies. They were very quick with responding to my original inquiry and getting things scheduled based on my availability. When they were onsite they found one damaged duct that they showed me. For a small additional charge they took care of replacing it while they were here making it very easy for me. The only minor complaint was that there was apparently a mix up with the scheduling and they showed up about 3 hours earlier. We were all able to adjust and they even worked around me quietly while I was on conference calls..

The cleaners were very professional. They carried all their equipment with them. Were very quick in setting it up and smoothly moved from one duct to another. It all looked well planned and very experienced.

I purchased the deal through Angie's lust, over a weekend. By Tuesday, I received a call from the vendor and they apologized for the delay in contacting me--I knew I wouldn't hear from them until a weekday as I had seen there office days were M-F. when I picked a day for the spot though, I was told they do the service 7 days/wk. I was impressed. I loved their thorough process: vacuuming from central furnace vent, brushing each vent and return and then hand vacuuming each vent and the return and then sanitizing the system. Kevin showed us what they had vacuumed out, which included an item from the previous homeowner--we've owned the home for 16 years and have only had one other cleaning. I LOVED the Angie's coupon offer. As my appt date rolled around and payment crossed my mind, it was a relief when I realized I had prepaid for the service. The entire payment process was very smooth. Thank you, Kevin and crew!!

The crew of two arrived on schedule the first time they came but since we live in a townhouse with the furnace in the attic they asked if they could come back another day. The reason why they reschedule was to have someone who could help get the equipment up to the second floor, as the team leader was disabled with an injury, which we heard all about. The second time they came back they were scheduled between 2-5 pm and arrived at 5:30. We waited all afternoon for their arrival, without a phone call telling us when to expect them. The leader finally called a half hour before they arrived. They finished by 7 pm. The team leader said they would not do any more townhouses like ours because it's too difficult, especially on a hot day. They did not do the dryer vent.

After doing the duct cleaning, a short time later our furnace came on. A bunch of dust and debris came out of a few vents. This is exactly the OPPOSITE of what we expected after a duct cleaning. We immediately called them and they were able to return a couple hours later that same day to re-clean the ducts that had the debris. They said the vacuum must have (partially) disconnected while they were brushing out the ducts in question, leaving all the loosened debris in place instead of being vacuumed out. While I do believe this is what happened, bit seems to me that one of them should have noticed it and addressed it immediately. Now for the positives. They arrived on time, they were very courteous, and they were also very responsive to come back and correct the issue. The pricing was also very good via the Angie's List "Big Deal". Once the issue was resolved everything was good and we were happy with the final results. I would consider using them again.

They inspected the vents and furnace. They said that everything was completely clean and that I must not be using the heater much. They told me about when to replace the air filters and approximately when I should call somebody back to get the air ducts cleaned. They said that they wouldn't do any work if I didn't need it.

The crew arrived promptly. They were friendly, competent and professional. They did their work efficiently with little to no disruption. We recommend them highly!
