Could not have gone any better.

I purchased the air duct cleaning deal and am happy with the results. This deal is good value - the guys that arrived (I don't remember their names) clearly knew what they were doing and were very efficient at getting the work complete. I can tell my ducts are clean and they verified that furnace worked correctly before leaving, so A+ for the job done. My down grade for professionalism was due to two minor things: (1) I would have appreciated a heads up call for when the guys were on their way and (2) a lack of branding on the trailer/uniforms makes it a little harder to allow people into the house (safety concern esp. with children at home). The guys were happy to show me ID and indicated that uniform shirts were on order, so I imagine this won't be a long-term issue.

I used Duct Guys several months ago to find and repair a duct leak. I was very happy with the service and the price, so I engaged them to do a whole house duct cleaning, using the Big Deal. Scheduling was easy and involved a lead time of only 3 days. Two young men showed up right on time and went to work, blocking all the ducts and returns. Normally they would cut an access hole in the sheet metal near the furnace to set up suction, but that was not possible in my installation. So they set up suction using about a 12" diameter hose by taping it to the floor over a duct a few feet from the furnace. Then they went to each register in turn and ran a rotating brush toward the furnace. After that, they moved the suction hose to the opening for my electronic air cleaner, which is on the return side of the furnace. With suction established, they ran a slightly different rotating tool through all the cold air return ducts. They also did the dryer vent, which in my case was pretty easy. They put everything back the way it was and didn't make or leave any mess. The suction hose was transparent, so it was easy to see the gunk flying out to their vacuum. When they were done there was a lot of debris in their vacuum. After watching the whole operation closely, I feel quite confident that my duct system is now clean. This is a small business that doesn't have all the bells and whistles of some of the larger operations, like the fancy decals on their vehicles or uniforms or a super informative web site. But I believe that they do as good at least as good a job as anyone, and probably better than many. And the $350 Big Deal was at least $50 cheaper than anything else I found cruising around Angie's. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Did an excellent job. Carefully moved out our dryer. We have a very small space inside to work in. He removed our outside guard, cleaned the vent, guard and surrounding area. He replaced the vent outside. He then went back inside and vacuumed around the dryer before putting it back. Very professional and kind. I will use again next time.

The guys were awesome: they did an excellent, thorough job, cutting no corners. They came very well equipped to meet every challenge, and also educated and advised me about my ductwork and furnace regarding future maintenance, were cheerful, eager to help, and just a pleasure to work with. It was a very happy experience!

I'm sure it was fine. They did have to come back twice because there was a part that they needed that they didn't carry with them, so we had to re-schedule to have them come back. Other than that, everything was fine. There was just an extra fee for that part.

It was nice that they were so honest with us. It went great and we'd definitely use them in the future.

It was a really good service. They identified a problem in one of the ducts. It was easy to schedule the appointment and I believe we paid a light additional cost for the repair of the duct.

When the 2 young men arrived, I questioned the fact that the truck & equip. Trailer, were plain - nothing that said they were from the Co ( The Duct Guys, LLC). When I asked, they told me that the co. did not use logo's on their equipment??? FLAG. I immediately suspected that they were sub-contractors, rather than the real deal. They did a good job, seemed to know what to do, and were very efficient, time-wise. I have no complaints about their work. When done, however, they handed me a bill for $42.00, This was for THREE extra vents - since I had MORE than 10. I paid by check, thanked them, and only later looked at the BILL and Big Deal together. Flag# 2 - Invoice was hand-written on a BLANK form - not a word about "Duck Guys" to be seen. Flag#3 - The "Deal " was specifically for "FIFTEEN (15) air duct vents (INCLUDES ALL OF THEIR RETURNS!) i.e., the $42.00 extra charge was in error. My house has 11 air duct vents and 2 returns = 13. So, I don't know exactly who did the work, or why they charged me extra. This is the 2nd problem I have had in using the Big Deals! Buyers Beware.

The technician was honest and said I didn't need the service I requested a refund from Angie's List.

First off, the service level is outstanding. The techs really knew what they were doing and in several instances, they walked me through the process of what options I had to fix detached air duct lines. The whole time, I felt as though they were being fair and honest with me and in the end I would recommend their service to all of my family members and friends.

He came out in a week and it was another week before he could do the specific work because they did a fair amount of work. He seemed to know what he was doing and did the job successfully, and I haven't had any trouble since. I was pleased with his work. I purchased the deal for him to come out and look at it, and he found that the venting wasn't constructed correctly under the house, and he did it for the amount that I have purchased it. He stayed within the price that he had estimated. It did seem to improve the functioning of my dryer. I had to buy a new dryer and I think it was the dryer, I don't think it was because of the work he did, but he was very pleasant. He was attentive to time and did what he said he would do. I would recommend him and I'll probably call him again if I have a similar problem. I asked him whether or not I needed to have my ducts cleaned throughout my house and he said he didn't feel like I needed that. I appreciated that he didn't try to sell me something that I didn't need. He seemed to work pretty hard. He had other men working with him and I think he worked diligently. I don't think it was just a fluff job. They really did what they said.

They came out counted all the ducts and let us know that they were in good shape and that we did not need service. They were great guys, very professional and helpful. If and when I ever need that done I will be using them agian and will be recommending them to all my friends as well.

I think they did a fine enough job in the cleaning process. The ducts appear clean and the returns are defuzzed. The B rating for professionalism is because they did not screw all of the vent covers back on. I have a return cover above my stairs that seems as close to falling off as staying on and a bathroom vent cover that doesn't even seem like someone tried to put it back on. I was not made aware of any struggles and ended up finding these surprises myself. Scratch that, I did have help. My toddler found one screw on his own for the bath. I think he tossed the other down the vent. So, I am in worse shape than when they got there with respect to keeping the covers on. With that said, setting the appointment was fast and easy, they were on-time and got the job done. They should have told me they had trouble with the two covers since they did not return them as they were found.

They were very professional. It was raining the day they did the work and they protected themselves in my house from bringing in a mess. I was impressed with their service.

Went great - right on time, did a great job, even on a very high intake duct - will hire again.

Kevin and the Duct Guys are fantastic. They arrived on time with three people and completed the work quickly and efficiently. I used Duct Guys about 2 year ago to replace a very long dryer duct that had corroded over the years. They were great then and great now. Highly recommend them for any duct work you might have.

Kevin and his worker arrived a little early (after asking if they could -fine with me!) and immediately went to work. They were very personable and professional and did the job quickly and efficiently. I purchased a special for $199.00 for cleaning 10 vents plus the dryer vent. We have 15 vents, so it cost another $70.00. I was glad to pay the extra amount since it just made sense to pay for the extra vents, and I seriously thought it would be much more. They got tons of gunk out of our vents - after all, we have 7 animals and three people in this house - and now if feels like I can finally breathe deeply again without coughing. It is undeniable this was a good thing to do and I'm only sorry I put it off for a year.

They were very efficient and clean. No dust or debris escaped their equipment--a concern for our household re medical issues. Took about the time they said it would; they showed up on time and left everything in great shape.

They were honest and timely. We have 2 furnaces and they only needed to clean some of the duct work, not all and charged us appropriately. It was nice that they evaluated the systems first and only cleaned what needed to be cleaned. We are pleased and would certainly hire them again.
