This was a while ago, but the guys that came out were great! They got all of the vents cleaned and even offered some helpful hints on how often to clean vents, change filters, etc. I will definitely use them again when the time comes.

Company was great. Very responsive and flexible when it came to scheduling appt. They were on time and had everything completed in about 45 minutes. Tech did a great job of explaining the work he performed. Would definitely use these guys again.

This family owned business takes pride in delivering quality service to their customers. The owner and his brother were very courteous and experienced professionals who did a thorough top notch job of cleaning and sanitizing my air duct vents & dryer vent, but who also took the time to answer my questions and explain the process of cleaning air ducts and dryer vents. They made a small adjustment to the door to my dryer/washer closet so that it stays closed and offered other tips to improve my furnace's cooling and heating efficiency for my 2 story home. They replaced the furnace air filter for me, which is very difficulty with this particular kind of furnace. They vacuumed around the furnace and dryer when the job was finished and asked again if I had any questions. While their skills and technical knowledge were exceptional, they were also very personable. I will without question be recommending their services to my friends and family.

The Duct Guys were recommended to us by AAA, a highly-rated HVAC company here on Angie's List who no longer does ductwork themselves. We called and set an appointment with DC, and they were friendly. Unfortunately, they (I believe the owner?) came 40 min. late to an hour-long appointment and didn't call to let us know in advance -- we had to call them. To be fair, the bidder's wife did try to call a few minutes after we got in touch with him, but he was already 20 minutes late at that point. It was a weird appointment after that with the guy telling us, "Wow, I don't want this job at all" and, "I mean, if my wife asked me to do it I would, but, yeah, I don't want to do this" and "I need to tell AAA Heating & Cooling not to refer people to me anymore." I have absolutely no problem with someone being unqualified to do the job, and am very appreciative when that's communicated (it can save a big headache later on!) Especially so when they give an alternative: "I don't think I'm qualified to do this, but let me give you some references of companies that could help." Even where the Duct Guys could have been helpful, they weren't. The whole appointment was just weird and unprofessional.

The two technicians who came to my home were prompt and very professional. I appreciated that they cleaned up the stray dust so thoroughly after the ducts were cleaned.

They arrived on time and checked my ducts. Kevin told me the ducts did not need to be cleaned. He said it should be done every 5 years. I still had two years to go for another cleaning. I appreciate their honesty and I am telling all my friends about about my experience with these gentleman. Hope you will give them a try if you need your ducts cleaned

From the beginning my communication with Kristina, the owner's wife, was really good. She was very responsive to all my questions and I felt that she cared about getting our job done right. The Duct Guys sent Derek and Joe for our job and they were terrific. They arrived on time, were very professional, were polite and kind, and very interested in doing the best job for us that they could. I asked many questions and not only got direct answers but never got the feeling that I was bothering them by asking. I couldn't be more pleased with all they did and will use them again in the future.

We hadn't had our ducts or ac unit cleaned in 6+ years, and I noticed the AC felt cooler after the cleaning and the air in the house seemed fresher. The guys were friendly and did a good job. They gave us a good coupon price from Angie's list.

This was a gift for niece and her husband. I didn't get details.

The Duct Guys are courteous, honest, and professional. The $68 was above the Deal because I had extra vents and needed a repair. I am extremely appreciative of the work done in my home today. I would highly recommend The Duct Guys.

Scheduling - When buying the "big deal" I was asked to provide 3 possible schedule times either am or pm. I suggested 3 afternoons since mornings do not work well for me. Company responded with suggested morning appointment. I responded that I had not indicated any morning availability. We finally settled on Friday afternoon 5/22 with arrival between 1 and 3 pm. Kevin called about 2:20 pm saying he would be here around 2:45 pm. Did not arrive until closer to 3 pm. Discovered that he did not have the needed chemical to address my problem of cigarette smoke smell (and expected me to have known that I should have told them that that was my problem). We rescheduled for Tuesday, May 26 at 1:00 pm (he indicated they would be available earlier than that but I couldn't guarantee that I would be available before 1 pm). So I rushed my mother through her grocery shopping that morning so I could be home by 1 pm and then waited and waited. Finally I called about 2 pm to make sure I was on the schedule and was told that, yes, I was scheduled for arrival between 1 and 3 pm. At 3:15 pm, not having heard anything further I called the office and got no answer so I left a message. Christina called back a few minutes later to say that they had been held up and wouldn't arrive until around 4 pm. I was pretty frustrated by this point and asked what a 2 hour arrival window was for if not to accommodate unforeseen delays. She obviously didn't have an answer for this question. Later, Kevin called and said they would not be doing any further business with me, since I had been "rude" to his wife. I do have some expectations for people who I am going to pay to do work on my house (or for any other services for that matter). One is that they arrive when they say they are going to arrive or call me BEFORE the scheduled arrival time. I shouldn't have to chase them down to find out where they are. At it is, this company wasted over 7 hours of my time for nothing. Obviously, this company needs to improve its scheduling and communication skills. I have no idea about whether their duct cleaning processes are effective or not.

I hired The Duct Guys LLC to clean the air ducts of my new place per the recommendation of the home inspector. They are a family. They owner & his asst. aka brother arrived on time, checked all the ducts & determined they didn't need cleaning at this time. They also checked the furnace & cleaned the filter. At that point, they gave me several options and I decided to keep the certificate & have them come back in a couple of years. They were professional, honest & knew what they were talking about. Restored my faith in using Angie's list. Highly recommend them!

Kevin and his crew were great! They were very straightforward, courteous, and got the job done. Kevin took quite a bit of time when he first came to the house to evaluate our duct system. Duct cleaning is one of those things that the homeowner really can't inspect (who really looks at their ducts?) so you really have to feel comfortable that the company coming is reputable and is doing the right thing. I completely trusted Kevin's assessment and am glad we hired them!

He was on time and did a fantastic job! I had him back out to do some additional work on my kitchen down draft vent ducting. I would highly recommend his services to others.

We used an Angie's List coupon for have our ducts cleaned and I was very happy to have a quick response for scheduling. The interactions with the company were all very positive and friendly. The duct cleaning was done quickly and professionally -- all furniture was moved back and the areas were cleaned up. I was shown what was taken out of the ducts after 10+ years of neglect and it was impressive. I really appreciated the friendliness and good humor of the crew that came to my house. I would definitely use this company again and recommend them to friends.

Workers were prompt, clean and attentive. They noticed there were some problems under the house with some of the connections. Without hesitation they went under the house and evaluated the situation. They asked if I wanted to repair the problems as they had the proper equipment on their truck and they took care of it immediately.

The owner was very professional and courteous. He arrived on time, completed a thorough cleaning of my ducts, and educated me about the state of the ducts in my home.
