I called about shower leaking about 12:05 PM 8/20/2008. Didn't get call back. Called at 6:33 AM & 8:00 AM 8/21/2008.They came at 9:30 AM 8/21/2008. It was still leaking so called three times on 9/2/2008 at 7:24 AM, 8:45 AM, &4:20 PM.They called back 8:30 PM on 9//2008. I thought it was a very bad experience. I still have a leak, I still have broken tiles.

Shawn had his hands full with repairing the damage that was done to a foreclosed home we purchased. He came in & looked at everything; giving us a written estimate & listing priorities, if we couldn't take care of everything at once. He was 100% professional, prompt, cheerful (the motto alone should tell you, this is a company with personality & humor) & courteous - even my dog liked him (and the rubber ducky he brought)! Although completing this project took several trips to the house on Shawn's part (due to other work being done), he finished everything in a timely manner (even ahead of the estimated schedule, I think) & even gave us the name of a very reputable drywall person to make it look like they never had to tear into the wall! He made certain that all the exposed pipes he could access were insulated, which required him to crawl under the house through a small crawl space. It was cold, dark & had previously had mice in there, but Shawn had no problem - he just got the job done. He replaced damaged plumbing fixtures & even repaired the damage done by the water leaks; saving us a lot of time & aggravation trying to take care of that job ourselves or find someone else to do it. He removed our old dishwasher & stove, both over 20 years old (& looking every bit their age), setting them aside so that they could be properly recycled when the new ones were delivered. He then installed the new dishwasher & stove; which work like a dream. When the new floors were put in & the floorers removed the kick plate & couldn't get it back on, Shawn had no problem reattaching it the next time we had to call him out for another plumbing issue with this house. We have used ShawnZ Plumbing several times, & will continue to use Shawn for all our plumbing needs. When we remodel our bathrooms, you can bet Shawn will be the only plumber we will call for the job. You know that you are truly pleased with a service performed when you recommend that provider to your family & friends. We have done just that with Shawn and ShawnZ Plumbing.

This is the second time I used Shawnz Plumbing. I liked his attitude towards business and how quickly he came here to take care of the problem. He is reasonably priced for plumbing and is a healthy, young man trying to making a living and isn't afraid to work. He also says to call him if anything goes wrong and he'll come right back and take care of it, almost like an unwritten guarantee.

My husband called on a Saturday and Shawn came Sunday at 11:00 to check out the problem. He said he would have to order a new pump and didn't know exactly how long it would take to come in. He was able to get the exact same pump for about $1000.00. He came Tuesday and worked about 4 hours taking out the old one and replacing it with the new. It weighed about 100 pounds and had to be lugged up hill to his truck. He had to come in to the house to switch off and on the power. It would have been nice if he had covered up his filthy work clothes with cover-alls before entering our home. He did excellent work and the new pump works perfectly. He charged us $576.00 for ordering the pump, picking it up, installing and hauling away old pump, and clean up. This seemed a bit on the high side, but I certainly didn't want my husband to do the job! I appreciated his promptness. It was a long 4 days to be without a toilet!

Shawn said he would come in the afternoon, but he showed up in the early morning and insisted on doing the work then. He said he would come alone for $85 per hour, but showed up with a helper for whom he would charge $35 per hour. He stayed for 2 3/4 hours. I tried to pay him on the spot, but he wanted to invoice me later. Then he sent me an invoice for nearly $800! He claims he was there 4 hours (though there were other people in the house that can attest that's not true). Doing the math, he's charging $300 for parts (a few feet of PEX and gas pipe) that any hardware store would tell you cost no more than $20. He refused to provide an itemized invoice. When I disputed the amount, he immediately threatened to send the bill to collection (just 1 week after sending it to me)! Not only was he slow and messy, but also failed to relight the pilot lights in our hot water heater and furnace; so no hot water for us!

Shawn came on time, and completed the work in less time than he figured in the quote, consequently, the price was much less than the quote. He works very efficiently and leaves the job very clean. I would not hesitate to call Shawn for any other plumbing needs in the future.

Shawn showed up on time and was quick and did a great job. He also was the only one who returned my call out of five others that I contacted from Angies List. He was able to get to me within two days. He is also gave me his input on a future remodel will be faxing me an estimate.

I am completely satisfied with the plumbing repair job done by Shawn of Shawnz Plumbing. He and his apprentice showed up on time, and behaved in a professional manner, completing the repairs quicker than I expected. I would hire them again, and refer them to my family and friends.

Prompt, courteous and helpful--requested a bid for work to be done which was provided quickly. Bid was higher than competition.

HE IS A GREAT PLUMBER WHO IS VERY CONSCIENTIOUS. PROVIDES GREAT WORK ON REMODELING PROJECTS. AS A CONTRACTOR, I ALWAYS USE SHAWN ON MY PROJECTS.
