pool cleaners
+ -1 moreThe work was scheduled as part of a regular service route. The technician arrived on time & performed the work properly. No estimate was offered, prior to the work being initiated. (Yes, I should have asked.) The bill was significantly more than I had expected & a flat rate was charged ($245) on top of a $75 "service call fee". I've since learned that the parts cost was less than $80 (from an internet supply house: $45). On the suggestion of this company, I checked prices at other area service providers. The three companies that I called (listed on Angie's List) each quoted total costs for such a call at less than $200.
Description of Work: Replaced a heating element in a spa. Problem was diagnosed for the technician prior to his arrival.
