Description of Work: They immediately came out to check the status of our well and attached a device to turn the pump off when the pressure went to a certain level. Still no water but they called us even on a late evening to see how we were doing. The bad news there are so many people without water they are backed up until October to drill us a new well.

Description of Work: We have been having problems with Iron staining and Sulphur smell in our well water. Over the years it continued to get worse. We bought several water softeners by 'professionals' who claimed they could clean up our water issues...well it never happened. We finally talked to several well specialists and went with Donovan and his company. Donovan kept us informed when the unit they had ordered was late getting to their warehouse. They put it in as soon as they got the unit. They put in a new treatment tank that took the smell out of the water right away. The taste of the water is so much better than it used to be! Donovan and the gentleman who installed our unit were wonderful. They explained things clearly. It was a great overall experience. Money well spent. I highly recommend Sippel Well Drilling.

Description of Work: Pulled and replaced 120 ft of galvanized pipe in our well. Also pulled and replaced pump. Men worked efficiently and came with everything they needed to complete the job in one trip. Very professional and responded quickly to our well emergency.

During the drilling, the crew was on task, hard-working, and professional. They believe in doing things right, protecting the aquifer for everyone, and treating their customers right. The price was high because it is a deep well - out of their control.
Description of Work: Sippel Well Drilling drilled our well for us and they will install the pump and accessories sometime this year. They were very helpful before we even were customers, when we had a question regarding my father-in-law's water. They have been very helpful as we planned for our well.

The owner, Floyd Sippel, arrived for an estimate. He had detailed information on all the wells drilled in my area. He discussed several potential sites each with their pro's and con's. We picked a site that provided access for his equipment and was close to the house, but out of the way. Donovan, their pump and water treatment specialist explained many options for controlling the pump and provided estimates for each. The estimates were detailed and Floyd was up front about some of the uncertainties of drilling a well. All permits were handled by Sippel. The well driller had thirty years of experience and was able to solve all problems that were found underground, The drilling rig was new and very impressive. Many thousands of gallons of potable water were used in the drilling process. I never thought of that, but not using clean water to drill the well would potentially pollute it. The casing was sealed down through the first aquifer and well below, a step that if not done properly would lead to lower quality water and ground pollution seeping into the well. The pump was a gleaming stainless steel 5 inch, ten foot long cylinder lowered on 280 foot of schedule 120 pipe with stainless fittings. Several outlets were installed at the well head for irrigation and 1 1/4 pex was used to connect to the treatment system. Donnovan was able to install the drive and water treatment system under a set of stairs in my garage so I did not lose any garage space and yet it is well laid out with everything accessible. Donnovan ran several samples of the water. Again I was impressed at the experience. He explained you need to pump for several days to insure you get a good sample. Based on the sample, he designed a system that remove almost all the iron electronically so I do not need to buy salt. I like the gages that show the pump operation, water treatment status, pressure and water flow. Most important, the water is pure, and unlimited for my needs at constant pressure. I was impressed with Sippel's professionalism, skill and experience. Everything went as explained and there were no surprises. I have recommended them to friends who need wells or water treatment.
Description of Work: Sippel Well drilled a 300 ft well, installed a five horse, three phase pump, a state of the art continuous pressure well control (drive), water treatment system and connections. The well was drilled through basalt and unstable rock and a 100 ft aquifer that did not have suitable water. Casing was installed down 200 feet and sealed. The drive converts two to more efficient three phase power and only pumps what is needed from a trickle to 100 gpm with no variance in pressure. Water was tested several times and they designed and installed a water treatment system that removes the iron with no salt. They performed all connections, adjustments and followups to insure water quality.
