They were prompt in giving me a very reasonable estimate, and did the work promptly as well. It took 2 visits to complete the job, 1 to cut and remove the trees and 1 to remove/grind up the stumps... I wasn't aware that they would be done sepaprately, but that was ok. They did a good job and all debris was completely removed. The office staff that I spoke to on the phone were especially friendly and helpful.

R and R did a fantastic job on this old tree, and really demonstrated a lot of care. The job estimator and arborist was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. My only piece of feedback would be that communication could have been better. They told me they would be out there for two days, and so I expected to have a chance to talk with them and check in about how the pruning was going. I had expected that the tree would be cut back from the neighbors yard, and over my roof more than it was, and so I was surpised to come home from work after the first day and see that they were apparently done with the work, and a bill was in my mailbox. When I called them the next day and talked with the arborist, he explained the reasons they did what they did, and why they didn't prune the tree back any farther (because it only would have generated more sucker growth, which would necessitate having to re-prune more often). Again, they did a great job, including clean-up, and the tree looks fantastic.

Crew was on time, professional, and friendly. Work was well done, and we would hire this company again.

Knowledgeable and HONEST! Not pushy! A Certified Arborist advised the few branches I wanted trimmed would not solve our slight moss problem on a corner of our roof. He said the entire tree would need to be taken down, which he did not feel was worth it because of the numerous other trees located inclose proximity. I commented that he could easily have done what I asked, made some easy money and I would still have had the same problem of too much shade. He laughed and said there are companies out there that would do that. He gave me a reasonable quote on-the-spot for another small job we were considering having done. Before the end of the day, a detailed bid was emailed to me putting the price for that 2nd job in writing (we're opting to hold off on this for now). Oh my, these folk are gems!

They were reasonable. They helped us with future projects. They were willing to talk about future projects.

Rand R responded to my request for a quote on promptly. Price agreed on the spot. Crew showed up and performed the job very thoroughly. Cleaned up very well. Office staff professional and friendly. Foreman suggested some preventive care for old apple tree.

They showed up on the date and at the time I expected. All three of the crew were polite and efficient. They worked all day and at the day's end, explained that one large branch had landed on a board in my deck and broken it, showed me the break and said that the company would replace it. Another crew member pointed put where a bush had been partly uprooted as they dragged branches to the chipper along the narrow area next to my house. I appreciated their honesty as I might not have initially noticed either problem and told them so. I was able to prune back, replant and water the bush, and it survived. After I called to explain the situation, the company did replace my cedar deck board as promised, too. The stump grinder arrived the day after the tree removal, which was not the best planning as the cut wood from the tree had not yet been removed and he had difficulty in maneuvering the grinder close enough. When I explained this to R and R ( after I had removed enough of the chips to see what has left of the stump, they sent the stump grinder out again to remove as much as possible of what remained. They did what they had promised, on time, and were definitely working to ensure that I was pleased with their service and the send result. I was.

We origionally disagreed but came to an understanding.

These people are fantastic. From the initial call, to the estimatator, to the cutters and chippers, everyone was polite, professional and did quality work. They arrived on time, worked hard all day and their cleanup was very good. I would not hesitate to recommend them and would definitely use them again.

As we were landscaping and preparing the soil after the large Sequoia removal, we ran into some additional tree roots and they came back out with their stump grinder and took out what remained.

They were so busy we had to schedule the service for a date when I was due to be out of town on business. They said no problem and just billed me for the service. When I returned home, the trees were removed.

I believe there were a total of eight guys that showed up at around 8:00 AM and got to work and did not stop until after 8:00 PM. Everything was removed just like we discussed. No damage occurred to the surrounding trees that were to be left. A day later one gentleman came out to complete the grinding of the two stumps. We were very pleased with there professionalism and care in their work. We will be definitely hiring them again. We had received three other quotes that were quite a bit more and in one case double what R and R quoted us. At least one of the other quotes required us to give them all of the wood they cut down.

They arrived on-time. There were no problems with them at all. They asked questions if there was something that they were uncertain about. They cleaned up after themselves.

Very fast, very professional, very reasonable price and they stuck exactly to the estimate. We will hire them again.

Crew arrived on time and ready to go. The were a lot of fun. The day was cold and rainy and there were no complaints from anybody. They were able to get the tree down, chipped, and cleaned up before the end of the day as estimated. There was no damage to the structures around the tree. They were very careful. Also they left the yard and nearby structures cleaned up and looking better than when they arrived. These guys were happy and obviously enjoying their job. It seemed apparent to us that they're happy with the company they work for and that the company knows how to hire happy and hardworking people.
