My experience was very positive. It was a good price. The staff was very friendly. There was no problem with the clean up.

Their prices were reasonable and they got the work done eventually. The last time they missed couple of things they were supposed to do. I called them and they eventually came out. They finished the work they were supposed to do. They do a decent work but they are not dependable. They have a program this spring and somehow they must have forgotten it. It was recorded and so I called them today. They still haven't come out.

They were very good in cleaning up and hauling everything away. They were excellent. I would be using them again on summer.

They did a fine job. They did what I asked them to do, and they did the work in a timely fashion.

They were within their bid, and they got the work done when they were supposed to. Their prices and quality of work were excellent. I would use their services again in the future.

They were really good. They were in and out of here very fast. They said they were going to be here at a certain time. They were here five minutes late which was ok. And then they were gone with in an hour. The service was done, cleaned up and professional. I would use them in the future and recommend them to others.

I have dealt with them in the past. They did a very good job. They did have a slight problem getting their grinder in the back yard for access to grind the stump after the tree was down.

Contacted company via email. Had an immediate response. Quickly scheduled estimate followed by scheduling date when work was completed. Work done met or exceeded our expectation.

Rand R is the only company in Salem that had a small enough stump grinder to access our trees. They were on time and did an excellent job. I will definately use them again.

They are always on time and they clean up. They are friendly and personable. They have always done a nice job for us.

I used them to remove some branches off tree that were hanging over my roof and they removed some roots also. They were wonderful and they were amazing to watch. They cleaned everything up after they were done and their knowledge and skill was mind blowing.

I have used them quite a few times and what I like is that they have good aim. I have got over 1,000 rhododendrons planted out here and they have to drop the trees between them. They are quite good. I don't have a lot to compare them to.

They were very professional and did it very safely. They offered to haul the wood away or chop it up and let us keep it. They also offered to let us keep the mulch if we wanted it.

The guy's who worked for Pat Bryant at Bryant Tree Services, who were wonderful, now work for R and R Tree Service. They run a little bit higher than medium, but, it's worth it, because they are experienced. They come out prune, trim the trees, check for diseases and bugs to make sure they are healthy, and make sure they're not top heavy, to make sure they don't topple over in the winter. They also take care of my mother's trees. They are polite, I don't have to worry or go out, and check the trees myself, anymore. Even though the price is high, the value is there.

They gave me an estimate by email within fifteen minutes, I was very pleased with all the information they gave me, and they answered all my questions. They haven't done any work yet, but they will be starting next week, which is sooner than I expected, and so far I like them. The estimate was for $335 which I thought was a fair estimate because they are going to take away everything that they cut, and clean up all the debris.

Owner answered all of my emails with questions very quickly, we scheduled the job 2 weeks out from my first initial contact. The guys showed up 30 minutes early (Nice!), assessed how they were going to attack the job and got busy. They finished cutting down the tree in about 4 hours and made sure the area was cleaned up as best they could, it rained the whole time they were working so it made it a little tough for cleanup. The job was done quick, painless and professional. All of their equipment, including the trucks etc. were newer and looked well maintained. All the guys working (there were 5 all together I believe) were professional and courteous. The one and only hang up I had was that they left the base of the tree (2-3 foot thick by 4.5 foot across) upside down in our backyard. When I asked the owner if they were going to cut it up she said they would cut it up for an additional fee but typically they do not cut the base of the trunk in pieces because it tears up the chain on their chain saws and these chains cost about $100. I'm not sure how that's possible if you're cutting small pieces at a time but I was just happy the tree was done. The base still sits upside down in our backyard because it's too heavy for us to move. We don't own a chainsaw, not sure how to tackle that one. Also, the quote was right on, didn't have to pay any more or any less.

We've used more than one tree service company, so I don't remember what Rand R Tree Service did for us. We've had some Douglas firs and a walnut tree taken down, and an apple tree pruned. They were reliable and did a good job. They were competent, and seemed to know what they were doing. I can't comment on their price, because I didn't compare prices for those jobs. I would use them again.

They were prompt even in the snowy weather. The price was what they quoted. They even offer a senior discount.

A diseased fir tree was cut down, branches were removed and the stump was ground to several inches below the ground surface.

Estimate was honored and he explained exactly what they would provide and its effect. Also provided cost for each tree, which helped in determining whether to eliminate some trees from the estimate. Clean-up was exceptional. They did postpone the agreed time and date of service because they wanted to remove a tree that damaged a home. Only problem, they did not call and inform me of the schedule change. I had to call when they did not show as scheduled.

They gave us the best bid of the two companies that we had checked out. They came out when they said they would. They were the most thorough and most knowledgeable. They did a fine job.

We used them because they had done work for our neighbor. They did really good work. Their price was good too. They had to come back to do some extra work. The only problem we had was with them showing up on time. They were four hours and ten minutes late.

I was needing some work done on several trees on my property, so I went to Angies List to find a good reputable business to do the work. After reading through the reviews of several of the top businesses, I chose Rand R Tree Service. I called on the 19th to ask about having an estimate done and they called back in a timely manner and set up an appointment for the following day. The next morning, Robert arrived a few minutes early and did a walk-a-round with me and listened to my concerns, then answered several of my questions. He advised me of one thing I did not need to do where they could have agreed to do it and charged me for it. I appreciated that honesty. Within an hour, I had an estimate in my email inbox. The estimate seems reasonable to me, so I have called them back and scheduled a date in October for the work to be done (October because Robert told me this would be the best time for the trees to do the work). So far I am very pleased at how right on Angies List was regarding this business. I will write another review when the work has been completed. The work has been completed now and I am very satisfied and will have these guys back again. Robert, Cody and Josh showed upabout 15 minutes early which was fine with me. They asked me to walk the property with them again to verify what was to be done, and this is where I pointed out the additional work I wanted done which they accepted happily. Once the walk around was done, they got right to it. They did all that was asked and cleaned up very well. Also, I would like to point out that they stacked up trimmings near the chipper and only turned it on twice to feed the trimmings through and turned it back off. I did not ask for this, but I really appreciated it because I work from home and am on the phone alot....just another example of the professionalism this company and their workers exhibited. I am completely satisfied with the work and the price.

The job went great. They were good and the reason I called them was because they were ranked first on the list in the area and I would certainly give them a number on ranking. They came out fast, were quick, and got the work done. I spent $2100 on that service. The quality was good, but as far as the price goes I would not know because I never had to do anything like that with anyone else before, but it seemed to be reasonable. Everything was great.

They are from Salem, but they came up to Detroit and did the job. They were on time and professional. Their workers were really good and friendly. They did a good job and cleaned up after themselves. It looked better when they left than what it was before they came here.
