Our piano team includes Matt J Hirschfelder-lead technician, Christopher Barlow-field technician, and Steve Ganz-technician rebuilder. Our collective individual experience, gives you a team who can service historic pianos, electronic and keyboard repair, pneumatic and digital player pianos, birdcage, and square grand pianos. We can solve your piano whoas by helping you purchase, or sell, removal, broker, and appraise pianos, We even coordinate insurance water/fire/smoke/other damage piano repair in the field or in the shop.

Services we offer

Our passion is piano and keybooard instruments. In the field we diagnose, tune and repair. Some instruments require work to be done in the shop. There, we can rebuild, maximize and redesign your piano to its fullest potential. We have access to an international market of piano parts, and accessories and our team has certifications in climate control, Yamaha, Steinway, and Mason and Hamlin service departments. Northwest Piano Service offers removal, evaluation and appraisal service too.

Services we don't offer

ODOT regulates house to house piano movers. We recommend local clients to JJC Piano Movers. ....We do NOT provide this direct service. However, Northwest Piano Service is insured to do piano removal and sales deliveries in additional to our service shop moves. Our website does offer information for families looking for a local piano teacher. Unfortunately, we do not have the time to teach piano lessons and there are several very qualified teachers in our community. :)
