I had a short time frame to get this done and Paul did all that was needed to accommodate that tight schedule. They arrived promptly and had the whole job done in less than a day with their three person crew. They taped what needed to be so that the overall appearance was very professional. The quality was excellent. I also liked that Paul is on site for every job.

He had some good reviews and he gave us a decent price. Their work was a little shabby and they were unprofessional. He did a great job with the wall paper but that was the only thing that was done to our standards.

He actually was able to come earlier than we had arranged, which was fine since he called first. Got here on time and did a quick and neat job. According to his bill, he charged me for a quart of primer, which I'm positive did not get all used up, so I felt he could have left me the rest of the can...but I'm not sure he really meant that $7 was for a full quart, so might just be a matter of wording. He did a nice job, so I won't quibble. Likely I will use him again. Many others didn't seem to want to do small jobs.

They did a really good job. They were able to come when I needed them because we were moving. I needed somebody to come in and paint before we moved in. They were able to work with my schedule. They were fast and did a really good job. They were very professional. I had one other bid and it was more. I talked to them about some other things but I decided not to spend the money right now.

Newton Painting was like working with real professionals. Due to the weather in early Spring they worked around weather issues went above and beyond the scope of work when replacing the weather damaged cedar siding. Any future painting needs they will be the first ones I call.

He had to move everything around to accommodate painting my place. For that, he had to disconnect all of my appliances and move them back when completed. He did such a great job that I hired him to do work at the rental I had. He was very personable and creative. His judgment of color was really artistic and unique. He did some unique wall treatment techniques with the paint (a faux technique). My dishwasher broke when he was there and he even fixed that for me, too! He did a really good job overall and I would highly recommend him.

He did a great job, he was on time and cleaned up his mess. Very professional for him and his son; overall they did a wonderful job.

The only difference was in the final cost being more a little more than provided. But, it was well justified in the difficulty of removing the wallpaper. A joy to work with. Don

As I mentioned only thing I regret was that the final bill was a couple hundred $ over estimate and was not infoemed on the bad rotten board in front porch.

Newton was easy to contact and work with. Since mine was a small job, he fit it in between his larger jobs, so it was finished quickly. The job was very professional and still looks great 3-1/2 years later. I'll hire him again when I need my whole house painted.

Our house had not been painted in at least 10 years and was showing it. Mr. Newton and 2 helpers arrived on appointed day and promptly began the pressure wash. After allowing a couple days of drying time, they came back and scraped away any loose paint, caulked where needed, masked where needed and spray painted with primary color. A couple days later, they returned and applied the secondary color around doors, windows, gutters, etc. Came back the next day to apply a second trim coat as the first coat did not cover completely. Cleaned up all areas where they had worked. Mr. Newton and crew did a good job and we will use them again when needed. I ranked them in the B (Good) column for that reason as I only use the A column for extraordinary service. So they got an A for price as they were the lowest of all who quoted.

Paul Newton gave us a bid to repaint our home late last summer, at a point in time when his seasonal schedule was already full. Knowing that we waited until this May to have the job done. We communicated several times before the work began, coordinating the schedule so as to allow other contractors to complete their work before the painting began. The actual preparation done by Paul and his team was excellent but uncovered much more damage from poorly done past painting jobs than was anticipated. There was a huge amount of paint debris, at least double what was expected. Because of this there was much more to patch and fill in the job and the prep took a long time. The actual painting went very fast once started. We completely changed the color from white to Tuscan gold with dark red rather than blue doors. Paul was in constant communication with us over any minor issue or decision. He never assumed he knew what we wanted and always asked our opinion. He also pointed out potential issues that might result from our decisions, like windows that might be painted shut if not opened immediately and french doors that might stick if one hidden section of the door was repainted. The final result was a beautifully enhanced residence, expertly prepared and painted by a very competent team of workers. The grounds and plants were thoroughly cleaned and undamaged when it was done. We've received many compliments on the work. Paul also got comments of and quot;good joband quot; from passing cars. The only negative was the fact that it ended up costing more than anticipated but this was because the prep took so long because of previous poor paint jobs. Paul didn't cut any corners in the prep and we are confident that this paint will last a long time. He came by to talk about adjusting the payment originally agreed upon and clearly explained how much more work was involved. He then left it in our hands to decide how much more we would pay. He was thoroughly surprised when we gave him the full amount, adding $2000 to the original bid. But we really felt the work was worth it. We later hired him again to repaint a single story duplex we also own. We were equally happy with that job and it came in on time and on budget with no surprises. We plan to have him do some interior work next and will call on him for any future painting needs. We recommend him highly to anyone needing his services. You will be lucky to have him.

I checked out their references and what you say on Angie's List. Their bid was the lowest and they also appeared to be more available at the time I talked to them than other painters. I had hope that I could get the house painted this year but we are going to wait till spring. I'm signing to hire him to do the painting next year.

Mr. Newton came out promptly and looked over the exterior of my house and said that it was a year or more too early to repaint it (the same color). He said that he would be happy to do the job but that it would impose an unnecessary cost on me. I was surprised that honesty came before profit but agreed that, except for a few boards that needed replacing even more than painting, he was right. I will be happy to call him again in a year or two.

They are really good and they get out there quickly. I got three different bids and I was glad that I went with them. They did a very good job of repairing places on the wall that needed repairs. The owner came out and he was really clear about what he needed to do and how long it would take. He was clear about the clean up and the whole process. I purchased the paint and they gave me an invoice for labor. My overall experience with them was very positive and the price was very reasonable.

Newton was was good at explaining procedures and options beforehand and patient with our delay on choosing and providing paint. Once the team started the job, they worked efficiently. No trace of their work on plants, lawn, etc. Neighbors all asked us who did the work, and we gladly recommended Newton's.

It went well. When we noticed things that needed attention, it was done quickly and without complaint. Often, the company owner (Paul Newton) would bring things to our attention, and then he'd do them -- sometimes without extra charge.

It took a while to get out to do the job, but when you hire someone who is good, you can expect him to be popular. The owner's son came out and power washed the deck and stairs and then they both came out and painted all of it, The job was beautiful and there was no mess left behind. It's nice to know there are still people who care about what they do. I recommend them highly.
