These guys have done several jobs for us over the past few years and we keep calling them back. They show up on time and get the job done. They always do a good job of cleaning up the mess when they are finished, and are respectful of neighbors, traffic and parking. The arborists have always done a good job when pruning back or removing tall trees or hedges. I have never had them prune small ornamentals or fruit trees so I can't comment on that. I am always nervous about letting someone loose with a chainsaw on my trees and shrubs, but these guys always do nice work.

I had a large fruit tree cut down. I am pretty satisfied with the tree cutting, we were not initially happy with the hedge trimming. We received a call from the manager in reference to the first review we submitted. He came out to look at our hedge. He brought us a check for the amount that we paid to have the hedging done. Our situation had changed and we were then looking to remove the hedge as our neighbors were installing a fence. He sent over a crew at no charge to remove the hedge. He really stood behind his work.

Everything was performed just as we talked about and all of the workers were very professional and I thought the price was good for everything that was trimmed. Also the cleanup was done well when they were done.

They did an amazing job. Their equipment is like new and obviously well maintained. They all worked diligently and seemed to sense what was needed from each other to do this precision removal. Even my neighbor shared that she watched and was amazed. The guy working in the high air lift is a unique individual (it would be easy to judge him on his looks) so one needs to watch him work and see that he understands trees and how they are going to come down to appreciate the unique artistry he brings to the job. Not everyone can do this work. It was a long day but they kept at it. They cleaned up after themselves as they went along. Very professional and competent crew. I would hire them again.

I would give them a very high recommendation. I liked the quality of work, the pleasantness in dealing with them, keeping to their schedule and I really like the owner. They were knowledgeable and professional.

They did a great job. It was a huge effort - they worked for 3 solid days. They cleaned everything up when finished. Paul, the owner, was very knowledgeable about native species and what trees should and shouldn't be removed.

Paul came out to do the estimate about a week before the work was done. He was punctual, intelligent, friendly and very professional. He listened well and made excellent suggestions and really educated us on our trees and the care that they would need. He broke the bid down, so we could do some of the work now and some of it later. When the estimate came, it was clear, well written and reflected exactly what we had discussed. We had three estimates and all were pretty close in price. We chose Mountain View because we felt that Paul most closely understood what we wanted. He combines his technical knowledge with an artful eye and really knows his stuff. We were able to schedule the work in less than a week from the day we called to hire them. John and crew arrived, but 45 min late. It's the tree business- stuff happens, but a phone call is a must in my book. I didn't get one and began to worry that I had the date wrong. I called Mountain view just before John arrived and the office folks were polite and apologetic and assured me he'd be there shortly- which he was. John was friendly, polite and professional. After going over the estimate and the work we wanted done, they got right to it and did a beautiful job. The work took approximately three hours and it actually turned out even better than expected. John was very helpful and accommodating. He answered a lot of questions and was nice enough to set aside some branches I had wanted to keep for a craft project. We were also able to keep the chipped material for the flower beds. The clean up was excellent- and John took a few minutes before they left, to explain the work they had done and to make sure we were satisfied. Overall A+ experience. We we would definitely recommend Mountain View to our friends and family- and will be doing business with them again in the near future.
