Mike was quick to answer my call for help with our blinds. He came in the morning, took down the 11 blinds, and transported them to his shop. The cleaning was complete by early to mid-afternoon. Mike brought the blinds back and reinstalled all of them. He even took time to give/show some use and care ideas. I loved his pride in his company, and the job on our blinds was fantastic! I will definitely call on M.D. Window Coverings again and highly recommend them to others.

Mike, the owner, who has been in business for 21 years, did exactly what we needed. The blinds had been in the kitchen and had sticky grease on them. Had tried to clean them myself and could not get them very clean or ungreasy.

The initial appointment for consultation/measurements was made promptly. Mike is very knowledgeable about the various types of window treatments; he greatly aided my decision-making process about how to "dress" my odd windows. Custom mini-blinds were my choice. They took a bit longer to receive than was projected, but were installed promptly once they arrived. There was a problem with the length of one of the blinds, requiring it to be returned to the manufacturer to be cut down to the proper size. That process went much quicker than the initial order. My blinds are now up, fit properly, and look great. I would not hesitate at all to recommend M.D. Window Coverings to others and would definitely contact Mike again if I had the need. Since he also does blind cleaning, I will probably do business with him in the future.

I purchased a house that had new cell shades for two windows but they weren't installed. Mike came to the house and installed them in 10-15 minutes. He was punctual and very professional. When I install the shades for my other windows, I will call M. D. Window again.

My wife and I just moved into a older home and needed some updated privacy blinds as well as a fix on our front window vertical blinds. On the recommendation of Angie's List we called M.D. Window Coverings in Salem. Mike came out the very next day and gave suggestions on what would work for our problem bedrooms, kitchen windows and bathroom. Instead of selling me new blinds for the front windows he suggested a fix for a problem created by some window installers. He then proceeded to my amazement to fix this problem on the spot and rehung our blinds....no charge! Our newly ordered blinds came in within seven days and Mike came out took down the old blinds and rehung the new ones and had the old blinds wrapped up so neat and ready to store I thought they were the new blinds. Super job. My whole experience with M.D. Window Coverings was exceptionally pleasant and reasonably priced. I would recommend anyone considering window treatments to give Mike Dyer at M.D. Window Coverings a call FIRST! You will not regret it.

When I called for the free estimate I was told that he was in the area and would see me within the hour. Mike looked at blind and said it was an easy fix and about $15.00, but he did have a minimum charge of $35.00 per visit. We agreed to have him adjust a couple of other top down/bottom up blinds that had started to bind up while he was here. It was great all of our blinds were back in peak working condition and he took the time to show us how to keep them from binding up in the future.
