We had major roof damage following the February 2021 ice storm. Our roof was littered with large oak branches that broke trusses and damaged sheeting. Glen responded immediately, helped me do some cleanup and immediately performed temporary repairs to prevent leaking. Glen was able to give us a brand new roof in two days and gave us a great price based on reports from some of our neighbors who used other companies. Plus, the fact that Glen uses only the highest quality components and don't even ask him to use cheaper products, because he won't. You will not regret hiring Malone Construction for the job!

It went perfectly. It still looks good a year later.

We first called Glen a year ago to repair a leak. He was prompt, repaired the leak for a decent price and didn't try to press a lot of other services on us. As a result, I called him later and had him replace a section of our roof. Again, he was prompt and actually suggested a few things that would save us some money while maintaining quality. (I didn't know Glen before this but it surprised me because it meant slightly less money for him - and I used to work construction years ago and know how bids go.) Again, this month, we had him do another section (it helped to spread out the cost). Once again the same service. I don't even mind a local call if you want to ask personally (Terry 503.375.2844) because it is hard to find ethical people now days.

Showed up when promised, old roofing shingles removed, area cleaned up, and new shingles put on. All steps of the project were professionally handled.

The first two leaking areas were discovered shortly after we moved into this house. Glen was recommended to me by a neighbor. He gave me a quote for those two repairs that I thought was very fair. He felt the roof in general was in good shape and didn't need full replacing. He replaced a section that was leaking from the peak after homeowner attempts had failed. He also replaced a large section of improperly installed flashing that was causing another large area of leaks. This most recent work was performed in yet another area, right in the middle of a roof. He and a helper came prepared to replace a large area in an attempt to find this leak, but before they even got all the equipment setup he came back down and told me he had found the leak at a staple, and only needed to patch a very small section. They did that and were done in about 20 minutes. Glen will be replacing our roof when the time comes.

Glen always works me into his schedule in a timely fashion. Arrives on time and does the needed work superbly. I recommend him highly.

Even with all the rain, the roof was replaced promptly. He was great to do business with. He had been recommended by a friend as being very trustworthy and reliable. He was found to be all of that and more. He upgraded the shingle at no additional charge. His crew was polite and friendly. Even with the messy business of roofing they were very clean and protected the roof and vents during the re-roofing.
