We asked Jeremy for a proposal and bid on a major bathroom remodel. He arrived on time, listened carefully and took thorough notes. He provided his bid in the timeframe promised. I was impressed with Jeremy's attention to detail and thoroughness. Even though his bid was on the high side, we are still considering Leigh Construction for the project.

They did a great job. They were professional and quality of work was good. They cleaned up after themselves when the work was finished.

Jeremy, the owner of the company, responded to my message via Angie's list within 24 hours. He came out for a site visit within a few days, and promptly sent us a written estimate to consider. Once we decided to go ahead, we had to ask Jeremy a couple of times to give us a written contract to sign...not sure if he was actually hesitant about getting us the contract, or he was just busy. He did get us one in end, and it was signed by us and him before work started. We had been procrastinating on dealing with this project, so we were thrilled when Jeremy said he'd be able to send out a crew within a couple of weeks to get the project done. The main work crew came promptly on the day that they promised. My husband and I both work from home, so we were in the house all day when they were working. It's been several months since they did the work, and we unfortunately can't remember the names of the crew. Which is a shame because they were very friendly and professional, and we really appreciate the quality of their work. They were very nice about answering any questions we had during the process. Removing the old beams was really hard work for the crew, since they had been in place for about 30 years and the attachements were extremely 'beefy.' Additionally, the pressure-treated replacement beams they had to lift back into place were probably twice as heavy as the old, non-pressure-treated ones. It also happened to be record-high temperatures, and the crew pushed through two long, productive days in that heat. After the weekend, they came back on Monday to install the poly carb roof. The project was finished with a nice attention to detail, and they left the work site really clean. Even though the structure had been inspected & permitted by the city, the Leigh's team gave us some suggestions for us to improve the strength & safety of it. They said it was pretty wobbly when they were up walking around on it. So, we added some additional 6"x6" beams to our support structure , and it's given us peace of mind to know the structure is more sturdy. It's been 6 months since they did the work, and the poly carb roof did leak one time -- during extremely high winds & pouring rain. Other than during those very unusual conditions, the structure is functioning great - no leaks, no structural issues. We're really happy with the work, and we'll definitely get in touch with Leigh's the next time we have a big project that we can't handle on our own.

I made a call to Leigh's Construction Co. late Friday. As promised, they showed up on Saturday to assess the problem. The repairs were made immediately. My little old father was so impressed with the servicemen, and at his age, very few people are able to impress him! They were quick, efficient, and kept us informed as to what the problem was and fixed it safely, and cost effectively.

They came out and did an estimate right away and scheduled the work and completed it in a timely manner. Very pleased with the results.

We have used Leigh Construction twice. The first time, they cleaned the roof of moss and sprayed a sealant. At that same visit, they fixed drywall damage in the shower, painted the bathroom, and replaced floor trim. The second visit they replaced weather stripping on the garage and front door and replaced a bedroom door They are very professional, get back to you quickly, and bring enough workers to complete the job efficiently and quickly. I would recommend them with no reservation.

The doors on my shed needed to be replaced. I called Leighs construction and requested an estimate to replace the doors. They came out right away and provided me with an estimate that I could work with budget wise. The old doors were in terrible shape and bee's had gotten into them and created a hive to add to the issue. Leighs construction came up with a different style of door that I hadn't even considered and they turned out great!! The work was done quickly and professionally. They cleaned up after themselves and hauled off the old doors...bee's and all! I was very happy with the work, the promptness and follow up that they did once the project was completed.

I'm not going to tell the story from beginning to end. They do good work at a fair price and got it done on schedule.

Jeremy's team did a wonderful job and I would recommend again. They had the best price and Jeremy personally responded to my emails and phone calls promptly.

Jeremy and his crew were professional and always punctual. They did a good job repairing the damaged windows. The crew worked several days repairing the window on the outside and several days repairing the interior of the windows. They did a nice job and we were very happy with the results. No more leaks!

The estimate process was great. The owner arrived with an associate who entered everything on a computer gave an estimate within a day. We checked with 2 other companies for estimates, and this company was right in the ball park - a little surprising given that they generally do higher-end projects. But our gain was our gain! The starting day was set within a week, and the workers were all punctual, courteous, clean, and efficient. There were no lapses in time from one area being completed and the next one started. There was a supervisor onsite every day to make sure things were moving along as anticipated. Any possible problems with quality of work vs. expectation of quality was nonexistent. All work done was professional and done perfectly. You won't believe the quality of the marble work unless you use this company. It is like a work of art! There was always someone here telling us day-to-day what was going to happen that day, and what we could expect to happen the next day . The overall experience was exceptional from beginning to end. We are having hardwood installed within the next year, and already have a bid in place from this company. We will be relying on them again to update our home.

They were professional, courteous, focused on the problem and kept looking until they figured out what was wrong. They responded to my email quickly and came out when they said they would. They put the hose back when they finished on the roof - even after we all agreed that contacting the roofer was the next step they went the extra mile.

All of our projects have had been well planned and all of have had changes. Jeremy and his folks have always worked well with us and provided their professional opinions and most of the time several options to consider. We have not always agreed but we have always reached an agreement to my satisfaction and I believe Jeremy's. I would not hesitate to contact Leigh's Construction for most anything that has to do with residential or commercial new construction, minor or major repairs or remodels. If you do not understand something or are concerned about a project they are working on for you, do not hesitate to ask Jeremy or one of his folk. The worst thing you can do is to be silent and not have their work the way you want it. As I found out more than once, the way I wanted might work but it might not be the best or most economical way.

The crew was great to work with, the price was $1000 less than nearest competitor and the result looks awesome.

We couldn't have been happier with the work, a two day job was completed in one. I wont even look for bids on the next project, i'll just call Leighs.

It was a great experience! Johnny was always communicative and available for questions, by phone or email. He was very friendly, helpful and patient. The crew came to Portland all the way from Salem every day during the job, and were punctual. Jeremy and Johnny came together from Salem on a Saturday for the original estimate; again, right on time. They worked quickly and took pictures of the areas which required work, the estimate was in my email box by Monday morning. SIx weeks later, after dealing with trying to get a couple more estimates from other companies for comparison (no one was as responsive as Leigh's), we decided to go with them. Their estimate was in the mid-range and it included travel expenses from Salem. Rick headed up the project. He was friendly and did a great job, everything was done exactly to our specifications and the gates/fence really look amazing. I would recommend their services to anyone and we definitely plan to use them again when it's time to remodel our master bathroom.

Estimate was provided quickly. Job was started and completed on the day after I accepted the offer.

Jeremy was very responsive and easy to communicate with. I would definetly have this contractor do future work.

Jeremy Leigh arrived right when he said he would to give us a quote. The price was reasonable and competitive. When we checked other Angie's List posts, they were positive so we had his company do the work. The crew showed up on time and got the job done a day early, which was very appreciated. No problems with the project - we'll use them again.

It is a small company. They got busy and it took a month to get back to me. At that point, I had already hired some one. They came out, but did not give me a bid at that time. I did fine, but his bid was too high and too late.

Jeremy Leigh was responsive to my request for an estimate and answered my questions. I ultimately used a different roofing company mainly because of the warranty they could offer. Jeremy's estimate was about the same.

Leighs seems to sub-contract with a bunch of different companies, but they all seemed fine. The only thing I would appreciate is if they all spoke english around their customers. I don't have a problem with other languages but when you are a customer and you have no idea what they are saying it makes you uncomfortable. The process from start to finish was great. One of the best things about this whole process was that every sub-contracter kept things clean after their part was done. The mess was confined to the bathroom and even that they kept fairly clean. The job did take longer than anticipated. It was supposed to be all done in one day but ran into another day because of the drywall work. No big deal. Overall Jeremy himself was prompt and very courteous and I would definitely use his services again.

They were the most responsive of three quotes, very open to our suggestions and budget, with NO pressure. Jeremy, the Principal, is very easy to talk with and very open to negotiation until the contract was fully worked out. The quote was well laid out, with reasonable allowances for the major items, and clear explanations as to how 'extra work" would be handled. We had a couple fo problems that arose after the demo was done (no real surprise there), but it was easy to work together to resolvbe. them amiabley. the crew was alway here when they said they woudl be, the process worked right on schedule, and the final price was as expected. The lead man Rick, was a great guy,very trustworhty amd professional at all times. I need to say I am an engineer,a nd used to dealing with contract and contractors a lot, so I new what to expect and how to negotiate, that helped from my standpoint. Jeremy's main crew were great, i was not quite as fond of the two subs. the electrical guy was good, but the plumber was a littel less so. Neither one was as fastidious as the main guys, and left a little more mess than did Rick or the other Leigh's guys.

They repaired the deck for me. He refinished my front door. They repaired a window leak. They were an excellent company to work for and would hire them again.
