My hat is off to them. I needed some drywall done, so they put me in touch with their subcontractor. I was very pleased with the bid and the job. They showed up on time, and did a great job. Came out and looked at area and provided idea on how he'd do it. Project turned out very nice. Glad I chose and would contact again.

We had our master bath entirely remodeled due to toilet water hose flooding incident (nightmare) in 2nd level master bath. Destroyed bathroom and floor/ceiling. We now turn our water off at street when we are gone overnight. Jeremy and crew performed an outstanding job. Overall we were very pleased with the outcome. While the job was expensive in our book, they delivered top-notch/quality service/work and I'm very picky. The entire crew was professional, punctual and were great at cleaning up after themselves at the end of each day. I'm a believer in the "you get what you pay for" and don't mind spending extra $ to get that vs paying less for a mediocre job and not being happy. Would definitely use Leigh's again in the future. P.S. Inspect those faucet/toilet/sink hoses periodically and turn off your water when you go out of town or you may return to a swimming pool in your house. We were home when hose broke and it still flooded house by the time we got water shutoff.

Jeremy's crew was great. The sub contractor who did the tile work did a marginal job. Not bad enough to make him tear it up but not the quality you would expect from a pro.

How many construction companies would respond quickly to an issue 9 months after the final payment and work was completed? I am a senior, and by the appearance of the 'state of affairs' around here, it is obvious I do not have a lot of wealth, wealth which could be an incentive to 'wow' me and keep me as a customer for future high $$$ jobs. Not only is Leigh's Construction Co. highly skilled, they have also proven to be #1 in honesty and integrity - qualities that are rare today.

We received 3 bids and Leighs was competitively priced in the middle range of our bids. We decided to go with Jeremy because of the way he talked with us about the work (respectfully with ideas but no pressure) and the great reviews they had on Angies list. They were fantastic to work with. They steered us to Cherry City interiors who helped us pick out tile, countertops and colors. Diane in the office was great to work with communicating what was going on and helping us address any questions, issues and anxiety's. The crew was very professional and did their best to let us know when we would be inconvenienced (noise, dust, etc) Although the process of a remodel can be stressful they were a fantastic group to work with. The costs came in exactly as was outlined with the bid. No surprises. At the end of the work they asked us to review the work and made sure they did touch up some things that needed to be addressed. Jeremy talked about how he backs his work and I believe him. They are absolutely fantastic for future work I will be calling them first.

Jeremy Leigh and his crew have remodeled two bathrooms in our 1927 house. The most recent work was a tiny, non-functional half-bath. They removed the small radiator and installed an electric floor, which allowed the toilet to be moved so that a person over 5 feet tall could sit down without hitting their knees on the wall. They restored the medicine cabinet which has lovely wood trim, built a shelf to fit exactly into a corner to provide storage, and installed new baseboards to match the existing ones in the house. I choose a rectangular wall hung sink to free up floor space. It was a challenge to install, but they got it done and it looks fabulous. Finally, the tile work on the sink wall and floor is great - it gives the room texture and shine - the tile installer had very good suggestions on laying the floor tile in a different direction and the finish of the tile wall around the medicine cabinet that improved the design greatly. All of this was done on time, on budget, and the crew was very professional. It was always easy to get hold of the office with any questions that we had or they had for us. This was our second project, last fall Leigh's remodeled our full bath and again it is lovely, and much more in the style of the home, and seems larger although its not. Part of that project was the installation of a new electrical box, which made installation of the electric floor possible in the half bath.

The guy who came to do my estimate was awesome, the receptionist was just as fantastic. They came very promptly, helped me feel very comfortable and used the latest technology so I felt more sure and understanding of what exactly needed to be done. They even went out of their way and did some research so I could get a tax write off for the work done. I did not choose them as they were on the higher end of price, but I was so impressed I now have them down as my first contact if I need a project done.

Good. We are just at the quoting stages and are not quite ready for the remodel, but willuse them when we are ready.

The process was much smoother and quicker than I had anticipated. They appointed a lovely knowledgable man to be the lead on the project who helped guide me through the process on site. I had additional support from Diane in their office to help locate items and gather information to make decisions. They located some items for me and I sent Diane emails with items I was interested in. This was very good way to do things because when there was a small flaw in the mirror I chose and they took care of the replacement. I got help with design decisions from the good folks at Cherry City Interiors. Each day brought a team of people that worked on a phase of this project. They laid out plastic protection for carpet protection and added tarps each day. The members of each days work crew were very considerate and a pleasure to work with. I would definitely call them again for another project.

They did a good job except I'm not too happy with the seams. That's the only objection I have. The seams show up. They're not as hidden as I would like. Everything else was fine. It went very, very well. I was happy. They all arrived on time. They were easy and pleasant to work with. They were polite. They cleaned up after themselves. It was a good price. As for the quality, they aren't really bad but you can see them and I thought maybe I wouldn't be able to see the seams. I don't know the usual seam of cabinets. They aren't really standing out but you can see them.

Weren't sure where to pick out a door and hardware, but Leigh's helped us find what we were looking for. It was just a matter of a few days and they had our order ready to install. Took a few hours to install; looks great!

Wanting to replace the old tile countertops in the kitchen and dated counters and fixtures in the bathrooms, we contracted with Leigh's. The estimate was easy to understand, and I could pick and choose which jobs we would have them do. (for example: we received estimates for refacing both bathroom vanities, but decided not to have it done.) I had other bids which were similar in price, but I chose Leigh's because I liked some of the idea's Jeremy Leigh gave to me, and he seemed detail oriented and efficient. He tried to give me ideas to help with cost, and didn't push me to get all new everything (like sinks and toilets which were in perfect shape) as some of the other contractors did. We chose our counters and fixtures from different locations in town, and Diane coordinated everything from pickup to ordering. When it was time to start the work, the crews were on time, polite, worked hard, and took care to clean up after themselves each day when they left. We got to know many of the workers by name, a little about them, and all-in-all it was stress free and efficient. If a problem came up, I was told about it right away, Charles, the project manager and/or Jeremy was contacted for advice, and the issue was immediately taken care of. The crew went above and beyond to make sure everything looked perfect. Subcontractors were also friendly and detail oriented. Over the years I've worked with several contractors, and this was probably the easiest and best experience I've had. I would highly recommend Leigh's Construction.

It was less smooth than the previous experience I had with them but they got the job done. As a company, they have been really good. They do take an extended period to send a bill but the price was very reasonable.

UPDATE: I am updating my review based on my experience after the completion of this job. We had numerous issues with leaking around the shower, which were eventually fixed with additional caulking, but we also had at least three issues with the flange around the shower drain first breaking into pieces (it was plastic initially) and leaking into the closet below, and then the repair leaking at least twice after that. My main gripe is that I believe the re-work should have been performed by a professional plumber, but they kept sending out the carpenter to fix it. At this point, we have decided that if it leaks again, we will hire a plumber to fix it ourselves because I have lost faith that it can be done right. ORIGINAL: I felt good about the contractor as soon as I got the estimate from Jeremy (the owner), because I could tell he was really listening to what I wanted in the bathroom. He was very easy to contact by phone or email, and that really helped with my own busy schedule. He and his staff worked very hard to help me find the right vanity solution that fit my budget because the original one was an odd size and difficult to replace. I had a pretty tight budget, and he really helped me find ways to stay within it. Once I chose everything, they ordered it quickly, but once the vanity came in, Jeremy was concerned about the quality of the vanity they received, and they returned it for a new one before setting a start date. Once they started the work, they moved quickly through demolition and got started on plumbing and removal of wallpaper, followed by installation of flooring. During this time, it seemed to be taking longer to match the texturing of the walls than I expected, but I trusted they knew what they were doing. I had to leave town at that point, and I had to leave the process in my husband's hands. He expressed concerns about the texture finish on the walls, but otherwise, everything got finished and the walls and trim painted. I returned from my trip, and I was really unhappy with the wall texture, as well as some trim missing underneath the open-base vanity. I contacted Jeremy late on a Friday night and he responded and came by to see the work by Saturday morning. He offered to retexture and paint the walls to match the rest of the house with knockdown texture, instead of the sand texture that he said was very difficult to match. He also discussed with me what I wanted them to do with trim under the vanity, as a box would need to be built around some pipes and integrated with the rest of the trim. They came back the following Monday and finished the work that day. I take some responsibility for not questioning the texturing process sooner, because I had assumed the texture would match the knockdown in the rest of the house originally, but I never confirmed that. I even offered to pay for the additional work, but Jeremy did not charge me for the rework. I was very pleased with how the overall project turned out, within budget and looking very nice. I was especially pleased with how well everyone kept me in the loop. The staff I worked with for scheduling and other questions were great, very helpful, friendly, and easy to get in touch with. The employees that worked in my house were also all very friendly and did a great job of cleaning up everyday, which was especially important, given that the master bathroom was in our bedroom, which we were still using during the project.

Leigh Construction did a really fine job. The bid was fair, but Jeremy took 5% off for an Angie's Deal, then he deducted $125 on top of that because he did not need to move electrical wires after all when installing the pet door. As soon as the door came it, it was installed; work was started on Thursday and completed Friday. Everything was demonstrated and explained, but the best and most surprising thing was the careful clean up! Who does that? Well, now I know that Leigh Construction does. It might be a little detail, but it is a telling detail that shows the quality that Jeremy puts into his work.

In my rental, I had to replace a shower door that I had ordered from Lowe's before my new renter was to move in. I called on Sunday and left a message on their machine about need this done very quickly. On Monday I received a call back and we were able to schedule the job for the next day. The job was done quickly and looked great. Everything was done with care and I was completely satisfied. I will use them again when I need something done.

I absolutely love them. They were very personable. I think I spent more time talking to the guys more of general stuffs and they were absolutely amazing. I can’t say enough things about them. Everybody that came here that works for Leighs from electrical to plumbing all of them were absolutely amazing. They are actually going to remodel my complete kitchen too.

The project went smoothly from initial conversation through the clean up. Leighs Construction provided high quality and professional service throughout the project. All of the workmen and subcontractors were skilled and polite. The management and office staff are knowledgeable and polite. The project went quickly with daily progress. I have only compliments and no complaints. When I have another renovation project I will certainly contact Leighs Construction.

Although Leighs advertised FHA 203 k as part of their portfolio we were told by the person on the phone that it couldn't be done and we would be required to pay for any pre-work inspections. We put them in contact with our mortgage broker since perhaps we hadn't explained an FHA 302 k loan properly. Our mortgage broker had the same response from the folks on the phone at Leigh's. We purposely selected them because of the high rating AND the FHA 203 k listing but we were decidedly surprised at the negative response.
