Description of Work: It went very well. They found more damage under the trim so the price ended up being higher than anticipated. They did a great job and were very professional and careful when they had to work inside the home.

Description of Work: I called Leighs about replacing hinges in my kitchen cabinets. As requested, I sent pictures of the existing hinges and received an informal quote of ~$600. I asked what it would cost for just a few hinge replacements so the cabinet doors would be in place as some of the original hinges had broken. This was in October and so far I have had no further contact from Leighs. If my project was too small for them all they had to do was tell me - not ignore me. Therefore, I give them an F.

The office staff responds quickly to question and concerns. The owner is knowledgeable and courteous. Everyone is personable. The resulting remodel was beautiful. This construction crew knows how to maintain the historic charm of an old house while using the latest technology. I will hire them again.

Description of Work: Jeremy, Leigh's Construction, was very professional, reasonably priced, and did quality work. They were prompt and completed my bathroom remodel in a timely fashion. I would recommend his compay to others.

Description of Work: Because of the favorable reviews on Angie's List for the services I needed I decided to contact Leighs Construction. Through their website I submitted an online request for an estimate with a description of what I needed done. When several days went by and I didn't get a response I called their office and left a message on the answering machine. Still didn't hear back. About a week later tried calling at a different time and again got the answering machine. Decided to give up on them and instead used another contractor.

Description of Work: Kitchen remodel including demolition of upper cabinets, removal of soffits, painting lower cabinets and replacing doors and hardware, building new upper cabinets, and installation of under cabinet lighting. New quartz counter top was extended out toward the great room and tile was installed on the backsplash between the counter top and upper cabinets. Kitchen vinyl flooring and carpet in the adjoining great room were removed, particle board subfloor in both rooms was removed and replaced with plywood, and solid bamboo flooring was installed in both rooms. New granite counter tops were installed in 3 bathrooms, along with new sinks and faucets. A new mantle was built for the gas fireplace. They started the job less than two weeks after giving me the bid, and were prompt and fast in doing the work. At the same time, they were very careful and when I asked them to make some changes, they did, including building and installing a new kitchen window surround when the existing one (which was off plumb) didn't line up well with the upper cabinets. Everyone I worked with was very professional, as well as exceedingly responsive to my needs and requests. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat if I had other remodeling jobs to do, and I've already referred them to a number of my friends. You won't go wrong by hiring Leigh Construction.

Description of Work: Repaired leaking windows and overhead door molding where the builder had failed to install flashing and the windows leaked and created dry rot. They rebuilt the inside casing on two windows and repaired the outside of 5 windows and the two car garage overhead molding and installed new flashing, caulked and painted where it was needed. The crew was very professional, fast, did excellent work, and left the work area cleaner than what it was when they arrived. I would recommend them to anyone for whatever they need doing.

Description of Work: I called Leighs because I lost power to my garage door opener. He came out right away and found a GFI that I did not realize was there had been tripped. He re-set it and all was well. He didn't charge me anything even when I offered. Great guy! I will call him again for sure if I have a real problem. :)

Description of Work: They took out our french doors going out to the back yard and put in a sliding door, they also re-leveled a door and put a storm door up. The workers (Jay and Ozzy) were VERY respectfull by covering things up inside and out. They always let me know what they were doing and checked with me to make sure how I exactly wanted it. They also talked to you without using all of those "big words" that some use and you have no clue as to what they just said. THEY JUST DID A PLAIN AWSOME JOB!!!

Description of Work: caulking around exterior windows. Moss removal from roof.

Description of Work: 8 ft window and 5 ft slider removed and an 8 ft slider with 2 21/2 ft side windows along with 2 new exterior lights needing wired with a switch. The workers covered interior while demolishing, cleaned up well and work kept going all day, they did not deliver the correct door and had to reorder per lowes error but should have checked materials as they r received.once they had the correct door ,it was all hands on deck. the drywall finish work was fair and have since let them go. i had to call for my screen. Mr Leigh has not come to inspect his crews work yet. but has a foreman to oversee. great job guys!

Description of Work: I don't have anything negative to say about this company. We had a basement office that was destroyed by years of water damage. Jeremy and his team came in, reset the foundation, repaired all the water damage, and reset windows and door. They were timely, respectful, and highly professional in their work. We hope to use them in the future. They're really excellent.

Description of Work: He remodeled a deck and a bathroom. We had a 17 year leak that we was able to take care of.
