The initial job was done to my satisfaction in a timely manner. A few weeks after the initial job was complete, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a phone call from King and King. I was informed that the person who performed the work had noted that not all the leaves on my trees had fallen. Therefore, they were sending someone back out to ensure that all of the additional leaves were cleared from my gutters. :) This was above and beyond what I expected and I was delighted for the second visit that got my gutters ready for winter! Outstanding!

Gutter cleaning. Only issue was that they came one day later than scheduled, and did not let me know in advance of the change. I had to call them to find out. Otherwise, all was fine.

My regular gardeners don't usually do my gutters, but they surprised me Wednesday afternoon when I heard them on my roof, cleaning gutters. I quickly called Mr. King and cancelled his appointment with me to do gutters Thursday morning. He wasn't in but I left a message; he got it and canceled his man's visit, and left a message for me as to how to get reimbursed from Angie's List. It all went very smoothly.

I scheduled a time when I could be there, but they came early when no one was home and did the job. I took off work and came home for nothing.

So far, the roof has helf up fine. The price was competitive with everyone else I got quotes from, and they were willing to provide the additional services. The entire process took a week. They're a small company with a small crew. I dealt with the owner and the estimator both. They could improve on their communication. We'd talked about the way I wanted the roof vented, and it took 3 tries to get the venting right. I would tell the estimator and it wouldn't get communicated to the owner. When it came to settle up the final price, the estimator was away on another job and the owner came. He wasn't up to date with what the estimator and I had talked about. The owner came with a bill higher than what I was expected, so we negotiated a number in the middle. I spoke to the estimator later, and he acknowledged that the owner was charging me for some extras that the estimator had given me in a verbal agreement. I did like that they came back out several times to resecure my tarps during wind & rainstorms.

They cleaned out the gutters and firmed up a couple of loose areas. although their was one area that was missed, they plan to come back out and take care of it soon.

It went pretty good. I haven't been able to check and make sure they got the backyard. I know they got the front ones but I haven't been able to go outside to check the backyard but I think they got it and they did a pretty good job. When I talked to them on the phone, they were super, I wasn't here when they did the cleaning so I can't really say how the people reacted when they were going to clean or anything but I was really impressed with them on the phone. They were very responsive and they've sent me an e-mail. They were also very punctual.

We hired them for the work based on their bid, responsiveness, and certifications. If they were not the lowest, they were the next to lowest in cost. They were very good to work with. They completed the work while it was 90 degrees outside within two days. They were excellent! They were very good, professional, and responsive. They cleaned up well after themselves.

Dennis King was very nice and honest about not being able to help us with our gutters. I had to call twice to remind them to have someone look at the gutters since I purchased this deal. One of their guys did come out and then I never heard anything more. I don't think they were very organized in that respect. Then I had to call 2 more times to find out when they would come back out to actually do the work. Then Dennis told me that he was aware that one of his guys said there was plastic gutters involved and seperatingbesides cleaning. I don't think they could remember which house it was so no follow up. So Dennis came out himself and looked at them when I was at work and called and left me a voice mail message that he didn't want to take my money and that I should contact Angies List for a refund. I am not complaining since I know we need new gutters but I do not want to pay for new ones at the moment, so I will live with what I have and continue to try to clean them myself.

Great work as far as I can tell. The next big rain will be the real test. I would generally prefer to make an appointment for general service a week or so ahead of time, but they phoned this morning (Angie's List special) to say they could do the work this afternoon, which worked out just fine. They were very responsive to my messages sent via the Angie's List portal.

Initial contact pleasant but had a miscommunication that caused a brief delay on getting damaged area of roof covered, then a longer delay in getting roof repairs made. Reasons for delay included illness and hospitalization of the owner, then weeks of very rainy weather when it was just too wet to do the sizeable repairs. We liked the owner and workers so after the problem area was covered, we opted to wait for them to do the work. We weren't disappointed, when they were able to come and make the repairs they did an excellent job and cleaned up thoroughly after they finished. We'd hire them again.

They're the only company we deal with. They're very calm, courteous and certainly know what they're doing. I was happy with it. They did about everything. I can't even think about anything else they wouldn't do.

They were at the top of Angie's List. It went wonderful. They did a good job. They were nice people. It worked out real well. Considering how hot it was, the timeliness on the project was good. It took them like four and a half days but because it was getting so hot, they could only do so much on the roof. It would've have been really bad if they had walked on it.

While K&K was not the lowest bidder, they were within $200 of the other bidders. While the others were personable and knowledgeable, our estimator walked the roof with me and pointed out the advantages / disadvantages of various options. Gerry explained the difference between a metal valley and what he proposed. Aesthetically, I preferred the non metal valley. This was the selling point vs other lower bidders. The work crews showed up on time [except one day they ran out of gas!] and were competent, professional, and friendly. They answered my questions in a manner that helped me understand the processes. Daily cleanup was exceptional. As a team they worked well together showed [to me] that they took pride in doing a good job and doing it well. We are extremely pleased with the workmanship and the appearance of the house.

King & King Roofing's pricing were not the cheapest but they were competitive. I didn't have any problems, the roof didn't leak all winter, nothing blew off in the wind, and the roof looks good. A couple of the workers blared the radio and cigarette butts, however, King & King Roofing were here on time, done fairly quickly, they cleaned up real well, and they didn't destroy plants or shrubs. I'm looking to buy a second house and they would be a company I would hire if I found a house that needed a new roof.

King and King provided one of three quotes obtained for a new roof on my modest 1950's ranch in Englewood. Communication was easy and convenient. I was very pleased that Dennis King said he was familiar with the neighborhood, and could drop by and take a look at the property while I was at work, and give me a quote for tear off and reroof. This was what I needed -- so many places had wanted to sit down for three hours while my husband and I were both home and talk about options and features and... I needed a roof, period. Good quality, appropriate for the home and the area, for a reasonable price by a company that did good work and stood by it. King and King fit the bill. I chose them because the quote was simple yet detailed, laying out in detail what they would do. He delivered it to me without inconvenience, and when I called back a few months later to move forward with the project, he stuck to the bid. Gary came out to my home and we finalized the project plan, and I paid for half of the job, the other hand to be paid after completion. He was a pleasure to deal with, and happy to share his knowledge, answering some questions I had not only about roofing, but these lovely old homes in general. The estimate was maybe three weeks to scheduling, weather pending (as it's still April). We had it done in just over a week! They told me it was a three day job; they were done in 2.5. The crew was informal but professional, friendly and efficient. Cleanup left a little to be desired; I found some chunks around the house, and my front step were littered with bits, but it was quick to clean up (which begs the question why they didn't do it). They removed the gutters in prep for the next step of the job, gutters done by West Coast Continuous Gutters. I had already talked to them, and found that King and King partners with them a lot. I have a great looking roof with a strong warranty.

The bit was prompt and detailed. It was equal to the lowest of the others bids, but was more detailed about the work to be done. Their representative was polite, professional and very clear about the work. The work was done promptly without any problems. They cleaned up everything afterwards. I am completely satisfied and would use King and King Roofing again.

We got a discount for being a senior citizen and got a coupon for using Angie's List. They did a great job, were very professional, and we were very pleased. I liked the presentation of what they would do and their professionalism of how they did it. They were very efficient and cleaned up afterwards. Their price was also very reasonable.

I had a little trouble makeing a connection at first. But once I did, everything went smoothly.

Cap shingles were replaced, two skylights were replaced, moss was removed from the entire roof and gutters were cleaned. I don't think the downspouts were cleaned since I had to call and ask them to come back and clean one on the front of the house. I wasn't home when the skylights were replaced so there was a bit if a mess inside from where they had to widen the skylight opening.

Christmas Day a leak in our roof started dripping onto a covered porch. We called King & King at 9 am on the 26th. I was told they would try to have someone out here later in the day to check. I was happily surprised when they arrived about an hour later. They quickly found the leak and repaired it. The 2 people who came out were friendly and professional. They provided a full detailed breakdown of costs and by 11am everything was fixed. It is rare to ever get that kind of service but I did like it and will certainly look to King & King for future roofing work!

we got several quotes for a roof repair we needed, the company's representative returned our message within 24 hours, scheduled an appointment and showed up on time, the representative was knowledgeable, helpful and did a thorough inspection of the work, provided a number of useful observations, recommendations and stated potential limitations that the company may had, he left promising to call for alternatives that fitted our budget and our roofing need, as we did not hear from him after 2-3 days, we called and another person, whom we believed to be one of the owners of the company explained that he was aware of his sale representative effort but the company no longer worked on the type of roof we had.

Leak developed overnight during rain storm. Called in AM. Staff showed up mid am. Went on roof & into crawl space between house & roof to find leaks. Found 2 leaks & did repair. Told me to call again if leaks re-occurred. Heavy rain later in day. No sign of leak so

King and King redid our roof 3 plus years ago. Called to do minor change during kitchen reno. Responded promptly as always and did a great job.
