Description of Work: They made an ottoman from some leather left over from a previous project. They did a wonderful job. I will definitely contact them again when I have a project in the future.

Description of Work: I had a beautiful old sofa reupholstered. Tim, who is in charge, has been in poor health, so this made for some scheduling difficulties initially. Lisa worked hard to make it all come together. Penny, who did the work, is amazing. The fabric on my sofa was matched perfectly at the seams and the result is beautiful. I provided my own fabric and they charge extra for this. There is no extra charge for pick up and delivery. Once on the schedule, it was about a month before they did the work which then happened very quickly. Upholstery work is very expensive. You could probably go out and buy a new piece of furniture for less but it would be inferior to a fine older piece.

 + -1 moreWe got an estimate based on photos that I took of the sofa. It was an extra long four cushion sofa that was too big for our new house. They took it apart, cut it down, and put it back together perfectly. They did it quickly (four business days including delivery time), since we didn't have much left to sit on. The price included pick-up and delivery. They were nice to work with and we would use them again.

Description of Work: We got a first-rate job done by this company. They reupholstered a couch, chair and ottoman for us. They picked up the furniture exactly when scheduled and got it back to us in a timely manner. They provided very helpful advice and access to a huge selection of fabric samples for our furniture. All employees and the owner were knowledgeable and courteous. We've recommended this company to friends and they report having positive interactions as well.

 + -1 moreSeveral weekis later we were called and informed recliner was ready. When I arrived Ii asked owner if I could see the invoices for the foam and the leather. He said "That's none of your business. I explained that I recently acted as my own general contractor when remodeling our house and I had received a 15% discount on all materials. He said that he made a profit on all his upholstery. I said the labor was $192 which was reasonable. I paid the bill and left. The Owner's tone was hostile and abrupt
Description of Work: Reupholstereed antique Mission Style recliner. Selected leather. .Used foam to make seat and back pillows much thicker. Gave me price for labor, leather and form. Stated that materials were very costly. Stated that ;albor would be $192. Was rude and abrupt in dealing with us. Paid for approximately 1/2 at this time.
