We had a virus on our computer and our external hard drive was not loading. We contacted Fortress Computer and they were able to fix it in just a few days. Their price was much more reasonable than the big box stores. They even did some extra tweeking and explaining and didn't charge extra. Would definitely recommend them to others

At first I was disappointed that they could not get all the viruses causing constant pop-ups off my computer before returning it to me. Then there was some miscommunication about the pros and cons of trying again to eliminate the malware or wiping my computer clean and reinstalling data and programs. However, Dave discussed the situation with me at length and made sure I was happy with the reinstallation of all my data and the reinstallation of all the programs I was using. There was no extra charge for all the extra time he spent with me. I was charged a flat fee, not an hourly rate and there was no extra charge when I brought the laptop back in. Dave was very concerned that I was satisfied with the final result and I am now satisfied. The whole process took about a week.

Took my laptop to Fortress as I had previously taken my husband's desktop and found them to be very customer oriented. Both repairs for both computers was within the quoted $75 and the computers run like tops!

Described the problem to the technician and was informed of some error possibilities. I would be informed in a couple of days as to the solution or possible actions to take

I was referred to Fortress Computer Repair by my hairdresser and from the moment I made initial contract with them via phone until I picked up my repaired computer, we were treated with excellent customer service. I have a laptop that needs repair and I will definitely be taking it to Fortress.

Dave was unable to fix the problem, but explained to me how this happens and that if we had newer software there would be more filters built in that would block the junk. He wasn't trying to sell software. In fact, he recommended that we try Costco for the best price. He cleaned up some other things on the computer, and discussed some other issues with me to fill his hour. We have always found Dave Calame at Fortress Computers to be very knowlegable, efficient, and fair. We trust him completely to give us good service and sound advise. I especially appreciate how he explains what caused the problem that I am having at the time, so it doesn't come up again. There are enough problems that come up with computers that he doesn't have to worry about job security. I highly recommend Fortress Computers for repairs, computer builds, and recommendations on upgrades.

He is very knowledgeable and professional. He doesn't try to sell you things that aren't good. He wants the best for my computers and he will tell me the best bargains.
