Description of Work: We hired Dan to paint the exterior of our home. He came highly recommended by friends of ours.

Description of Work: Changed our entire trim work and doors so he painted those; plus we had a small amount of wainscoting that he painted as well.

Description of Work: They painted the exterior of home. I have a 2story house with 3 dormers, they were pleasant, respectful and did a very good job.

Description of Work: We are still living in another state and other than meeting Dan one time when we were in Salem, in our newly purchased home there, all requests, questions, conversations were handled with email or over the phone. |He was AWESOME in every thing he did. Went above and beyond what most painters would do. I will have him back when we can have the rest of the house inside and out painted.

Description of Work: I hired Dan Miller to paint the outside of of my home several years ago(prior to 2011). The very expensive estimate was based on a level system that Dan uses to 'rate' the level of restoration we agreed to, which was just short of a 'complete' restoration--hence the cost of many peoples annual income. Dan was agreeable, friendly & professional initially. THEN, as the prep began and I started asking questions, his attitude was very poor & at times hostile. Not only is this a company I would NEVER do business with again, I would actively encourage others to not use his services. The exterior paint began peeling--bubbling/peeling in very large areas within 6-8wks. after the job was complete and of course paid in full. I had my husband initiate contact w/Dan--he seems to do better w/men. Dan did bring his crew out to do some work but he basically blamed the type of siding of our home, insisting he had told us that the job would be difficult--which was true--why we paid such an outrageous amout of $$$. If Dan had anticipated this fiasco he had CERTAINLY NOT informed us to the degree that occured within weeks of job completion. If Dan was ethical he would have not offered, much less agreed to the 'level' of restoration that we paid for. I'm still dealing with significant amounts of peeling paint every year--the house looks worse than before I paid him $15,500.00 & I have to deal with preping & re-painting.

Description of Work: Touched up several cabinet doors for us, that had gouges in them from the door hinges... Excellent job!

Description of Work: Removed all cabinet doors and drawers in kitchen, completely sanded all surfaces and repainted with 2 coats of primer, 2 coats of latex and twice that on all areas that might be touched, (bottoms of top doors and tops of bottom doors). Sanded and painted cupboard frames with 2 coats of primer and 2 coats of latex. Rehung all doors and installed all drawers with clear plastic cushions on each.

Description of Work: Dan Miller painting painted a two story entry way, hallway, living room and part of a kitchen and family room for us.

Description of Work: I used Dan Miller Painting about four years ago. He painted outside and did cabinets.

Description of Work: Helped select colors for cabinets, walls, and trim in a complete makeover of a large kitchen, walkway, dining area, walk-in pantry, utility room, and bathroom. Prepped and painted all previously painted wood surfaces in the kitchen, including kitchen cabinets (frames, drawer faces, & doors), three interior doors, a patio door, built-in desk and display shelves, and all trim and baseboard in the kitchen, walkway, and dining area. Prep work included sanding of all painted wood surfaces. Some of the old paint had been improperly applied and had to be completely removed. Applied an oil-based primer and two coats of latex paint to all of the above-mentioned wood surfaces. Painted all walls in the kitchen, walkway, and dining area. Returned after the granite countertops had been installed and touched up cabinet paint that had been marred in the installation process.

Description of Work: When we remodeled our master bathroom Dan Miller was the company that did all the interior painting. We were so pleased with their work we decided to use them when we were ready to do the exterior.
