Description of Work: I applied for the service on line and no one contacted me. Angie's list asked me if I had been contacted. I told them no and If I could not even be contacted about the service they were offering I did not feel I could rely on them to do the service.

I am not sure how to respond to this review. I was not informed that we were to contact the customers until after too many customers were upset they had not been contacted. We were instructed that after the customer purchased the "BIG DEAL" they would contact us at their leisure. So we waited for the customers to contact us as we were instructed. Only after several customers complained to Angie's List about not being contacted were we told that we should be contacting the customers. Which as timing would have it, one of our family had a near fatal emergency. It was a very frightening event for us and it did cause havoc with scheduling. We are a very small family company and we have always strived to give the best service and the best value for your dollar that we can. So I am sorry that you had this experience but I am also angry that we were cast in to this position without warning. How can we be expected to react correctly when the rules change without warning. I can safely promise you that this is the last time that this company will ever participate in the Angie's List Big Deal program. All we wanted to do was to give people a bargain and instead it only created hurt feelings all the way around.
