Excellent. We have a pest control contract with him already and he is always responsive to anything that comes up. The termites were found during a home improvement project and had to be dealt with quickly to keep us on schedule (with the extra damage removal and replacement of flooring). He came by the same day we called and then killed the colony a couple days later. So fast and such a good job. When we uncovered what looked to us a potential other occurence a few days later, he came right out and checked it out for us and reinspected everywhere (we were wrong and the only colony was still gone). Awesome.

He did the best he could. I would use them again for pest control but not for rodent.

Well. I had already initiated the steps the pest control service would normally recommend so I did not contract for additional services. I did, however, implement suggestions to place additional bait boxes and relocate a dryer exhaust vent.

15 minutes after he was supposed to show up, my girlfriend called him to inquire where he was. After two attempts to reach him on the phone, he finally called back and said he had just stopped by and no one was home (her and our son had been home all day). Turned out he had the wrong address written down and blamed her for saying it wrong to him (I think we know our own address). He begrudgingly turned around and came back. Was rude to her while he was there, did a cursory look around the house and found a few spots where he thought the rats may be coming in. He said he would not do any work until we addressed those issues, but gave no advice on best practices nor did he offer to do it for us for an additional fee. We ended up going with another locally owned pest control company who was reasonable, pleasant, and very helpful.

Very well. Cherry City Pest Control is locally-owned. Sheldon is highly knowledgeable, always on time, and successful! No more rats. Would definitely hire him again, although we hope we don't have to. We also decided that hiring an expert is worth it. What you can buy at stores don't work nearly as well. It is also worth it to have an expert take a close look at your house to figure out how the critters are getting in.

True to other customer's previous comments, he came within a day of my initial call. I showed him around, he gave me a quick estimate and easily sold me on a year contract for bimonthly service (additional call for problems included), which included another discount for paying for a year in advance and then he took off the Angie's list coupon. I felt it was a small price to pay since I am TERRIFiED of stupid spiders. He didn't even laugh at me. Initial spraying was two days ago, and I have not encountered any of my nemeses since then. Comparing to pest control services I have had in the past, I believe the rate was very competitive and I like that the owner does all his own work. Looking forward to having him here this year.

GREAT! When I tried to pay him for the trip and gas, he refused payment. I appreciate his attentiveness, phone call before arrival, and honesty. I will definitely use his services if I have a future problem.

Sheldon was prompt and able to take care of problem immediately. I have had this problem in another home in the past. He explained the most effective process to get rid of the carpenter ants. Both the price and work performed was inline with what I had to pay for similar service in other home to truly take care of problem and not just a superficial fix. Therefore, I felt confident he was accurate and within range of the cost of total service provided. It is too soon to tell if ants are indeed dead, but, he does have a one year guarantee. Very pleased.

Scott from Cherry City Pest Control arrived and walked with me around the outer and inner premises. We discussed the Giant House Spiders that our neighbor told me about. Since we are from Texas and are deathly afraid of spiders, Scott informed us that he doesn't actually treat for spiders, he treats for insects that spiders eat and explained that we could possibly see them but if we eliminate the bugs, the spiders have nothing to eat. After he was done spraying both inside and out, he came in and explained his pricing both the bi-monthly fee or if paid annually he offers a discount. I accepted the annual contract.

Responded promptly, and sprayed for the wasps. Guarantees that they'll be gone in 48 hour. Very professional. Will use again.

4-Aug-2014 (Monday) - Called (503) 269-7812 but no answer so I hung-up. A little later " Sheldon Virgin" called me back and I gave him the lowdown on the situation; Yellow Jackets. He said that he was near by and could stop by now to visually check out the situation. Sheldon said that he could spray the area where the Yellow Jackets were getting into our house; the 2nd floor bedroom window. Tomorrow around 9:00am he could come by and to the job for $200. I said that would work out just fine. Next day, 5-Aug-2014 @ 9:50 am (Tuesday), Sheldon showed up as promised and, after putting on his protective jump suit, sprayed the Yellow Jacket nest area on 2nd floor area plus adjoining areas. Sheldon would return on Friday and confirm that the spraying was successful. Sheldon came on Friday and all looked good. Job Completed!

Even though I wasn't currently using Cherry, he came out to see me within 24 hours of my call. He took care of my problem, gave me a very fair price compared to others, was honest and told me what services I did not need and then offered me a discount for a one year agreement. Since then he has continued with great followup service. He calls when its time and schedules the appointments at my convenience (my old company used to just mail a postcard of when they were planning on coming without even consulting me) He always comes when he says he will and he is helpful and friendly too. I highly recommend Cherry City Pest.

He is wonderful. My major problem is ants, and they have taken cared of it. Anytime I needed him to come back like initially, he had to come back two or three times because I had a really bad infestation. I pay them semi-monthly. They are a lot cheaper than the big guy in town. He is punctual.

He came back the next day, on a Saturday and repaired the vent screens to keep critters out. He then set traps to catch the rats. He comes every other day and checks the traps, so far four rats have been removed. Very pleased with the results so far. I thought the price was a bit on the high side, but the service was prompt and effective so I won't let that influence the overall rating.

Sheldon was at my house within an hour of phone call. He surveyed the property for openings to basement, found them and sealed them. He also saw the yellow jacket next and sprayed and eliminated them. He installed and sealed dryer vent to outside wall. Very efficient and professional and I would use him again if the need arose.
