The provider called about 15 minutes before the expected start time to say he would be a little late. When he arrived, he was alone but stated that he usually had a partner, so things would go a little slower than usual. He walked through the house with me and we discussed the area with urine to decide how much of an area to treat. He then sat down with me and went through all of the various options (truck-mounted or not, sanitizer, scotch guard), and in the end, i decided to go with the full deal since my carpets hadn't been deep cleaned in several years. It took him a couple of hours, but the floors were mostly dry when he was done, and the basement area odor seems to actually be gone, something I thought was impossible with cat urine. The carpets everywhere he cleaned look like new in terms of texture now. Some stains wouldn't really come up, but he warned me about those before starting and showed me after finishing. I'm very happy with their work and plan to call them again for other areas.
