The serviceman called the morning we were to have the tank serviced and delayed his service about 5 hours. Inconvenient but we worked with him. He performed the services as requested and was paid on site. This is the home of a 90 yr man and where the serviceman dug up the yard to locate the tank lid he left it very unsafe. He left the yard rough, uneven and dangerous to attempt to walk over. I need a report from Carl's so the property can be financed but after numerous calls and messages left he will not return my calls nor provide a copy of his report! Very unprofessional.

Todd and crew did a great job. Came right out the same day that I called, pumped the tank and we were done.

We discovered that septic was backing up and leaking into our basement Friday mid-afternoon. I contacted Todd immediately as he'd provided the cleanout service 3 years earlier and I was happy with the work. He scheduled us for first thing Saturday morning. He estimated he'd be to our place by 10AM, actually arrived at 9AM and I hadn't completely dug out the septic tank (actually not even close!). No problem, Todd was extremely good natured, picked up the shovel and quickly dug out the lid, in spite of driving rain, heavy and oversaturated clay soil. He had the tank (1500 gallon) pumped out within about 20 minutes I think. We tested by running water into the bathtub, and still the blockage remained. Todd crawled down into the tank and spent about 30 minutes trying to free the blockage, but to no avail. He recommended Action Drain who came out within an hour (on Saturday morning mind you!) and we were back in business after the power snake did its thing by Noon. Throughout the work Todd was cheerful, well mannered, and respectful of our property. I will always use Carl's Septic for my septic needs.

Arrived early, professional, without being stiff. It's a dirty job, nobody really wants to deal with getting it done, but Todd was easy going, did the job quickly, and was very helpful regarding my system overall. I also have a grease trap, which Todd said he rarely sees anymore probably because of the extra cost to install and route, but definitely improves the system process. Also pumped out the grease trap at no extra charge.

We woke up to a backed up septic system this morning, called Todd and he was here at 11:00 just like he Said he would be. It was a relatively easy fix, pumped down the first 12" and removed a clog from the outlet. Great guy, He could have charged much more than he did by pumping the entire tank but said it didn't't need it since it had Just been done 2 years ago. Great service, and you can trust him.

Great....we were running 15 minutes late. By the time we arrived he had the tank pumped out and the repair completed. Todd was professional and willing to answer questions.

This went very well. I called and scheduled a date for 6/4/13. I was called a day early and told that the schedule had cleared and they could come that day if it would work for me (and it did), so I had them come on out. I knew where the tank was, but not the clean out valve. I was supposed to dig around and find it, but since the day to do the work had been moved up, I did not get the chance to do that. Todd Zelmer was the Service Tech that showed up. He showed up on time and I walked him around to where the tank is and explained that I did not find the clean out yet. (They charge I think $85/hr to dig to find the clean out). Todd worked magic with his probe plus his knowledge of septic tanks and guessed where to dig and in less than 10 minutes, had had found and unvovered the lid so he could pump. He quickly ran a hose from the truck around the back of the house and began pumping. I think it was between an hour and an hour and a half and Todd had pumped 1275 gallons from the tank and performed an inspection at my request. Todd did find that an outlet baffle was missing and suggested calling Action Drain to resolve this issue. I have to say that I REALLY like working with people who know what they are doing, and Todd knows his business. It was a pleasure to work with him and I would not hesitate to work with him again or recommend him to anyone else. He left the hole uncovered since I was going to have Action Drain out ASAP to deal with the baffle issue.

Excellent and efficient service, with a smile. Todd called with an earlier opening. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Inspection diagram was far more accurate than had been done previously. Would recommend!

We called Todd yesterday and he set an appointment for 10 AM this morning. At 9:05 AM we heard his truck and went out to greet him. We showed him where the septic tank was and he quickly uncovered the cleanout port (5 minutes). He opened the tank and set up to pump it to his truck. After pumping the tank he closed up the tank and replaced the sod that had been dug up. All told he was at our home less than an hour. Todd was friendly, courteous, and very professional. I highly recommend Carl's Septic Tank Cleaning service.

They ran a bit tardy, but it was a weekend and the serviceman had far to travel between calls. Once he arrived he took care of the problem promptly.

One of us smelled unpleasant odors coming from one of our toilets. It had been some years since we pumped the sceptic tank. This wasn't an emergency. I'd have been doubly relieved at his fast response if it had been. It was easy to get on his schedule and he was quite open to fitting into ours. He was prompt -- that's a real plus in my book. He's so fast with his work I hated to pay $390 for 30 minute's work. But what the heck -- he was prompt, knowledgeable, pleasant, efficient . . . and that fast with a service I needed to have done. I don't think it gets any better than that so the cost is not really a gripe. I'd use him again without looking for other service providers. What better recommendation is there than that?

They are good. He came promptly and he was nice. He found the septic tank which everybody said they knew where it was, but nobody did really. He came and got it done in winter. I went and stood there when he emptied the whole thing out. He came when I needed it. Everything was good and everything was fine. He gave me a few pointers. Usually people scare you about those septic systems. But he was calm amidst the storm because everybody was going crazy about septic systems.
