Apex Paint and Remodel LLC

Poorly, they broke a door, left surfaces unfinished, did not fill 49 holes, and dumped their toxic waste in my front yard.

I started to remodel my master bathroom. Actually, I removed the floor, vanity and the toilet. Soon I realized I was not going to be able to put it back together. I needed help. I gave APEX Paint and Remodel a call to see if they could help (my house also needed exterior painting). Evan came to my house (arriving on time) to check it out. He gave me the estimate for the house painting that was very reasonable. I had other estimates; APEX was not the highest estimate and not the lowest estimate either. Evan explained the methods to be used and what I could expect (pressure wash, caulk, paint, etc.). The house painting was perfect. His crew was also able to fix some of the damage around 2 of my windows. They also made some repairs to the siding on the corner pieces. We love the way the house painting turned out. Evan gave me an estimate for the bathroom remodel. Again, not the highest and not the lowest estimate I received. The estimate was thorough, and we met to go over the project. We came to agreement on the items I would supply and be responsible for and the items APEX would be responsible for acquiring and building. I had problems getting some of my items in when we needed them (like the vanity - supply chain issues) but APEX was very cooperative and helpful. Our project manager Jeromy was very patient and worked with us to keep the project moving forward. When I did not have the parts in (supply chain problems) Jeromy was very helpful and patient about rescheduling the work due to failures on my side. Now, the bathroom is done! We came in under the original estimate. My wife and I are so happy the way the bathroom turned out. It is so beautiful; I go into the bathroom and just look at it; it is stunning. Thanks to APEX; Evan and Jeromy and all the other APEX professionals that worked so hard to turn our mental image of the bathroom into the real dream bathroom my wife and I can enjoy. A final note: APEX was very responsive via email, text and phone calls. Always returned my call/email/text within a reasonable time if not within minutes. APEX was paying attention to the details... right down to the escutcheons used around the water supply lines under the sink and behind the toilet. APEX worked well to accommodate our schedules. We had some family emergencies come up during the project, but we rescheduled as needed. We are so happy with the bathroom, and I plan on doing more work with APEX in the future.

I am upgrading my previous review of this business from one star to four stars. The reason being that the owner had the courage and the willingness to phone me following my initial poor review and offered apologies for the breakdown in communication, and wanted to know how he could do better. His estimate was far too high for me to reconsider, but I finally received the e-mail estimate and the phone call, and we appreciated that. In my mind the owner is a standout guy and business owner (note his other reviews). I might suggest he not have Angi list his biz as one of those that is able to provide service on the coast and so far from his home base.

This is the first exterior home paint job we have ever done and the Apex team did an absolutely amazing job! I cannot recommend their services enough. If I could give them six stars I absolutely would! Their project manager kept in regular contact with us for weeks prior to our appointment and, due to some scheduling adjustments, they were able to get the job started and completed ahead of schedule. From the first on-site estimate to the final close-out meeting, Evan and his team of highly professional painters made this entire process extremely smooth and stress free. Their team arrived every morning exactly on time and finished the day by cleaning up their work site so we could hardly even tell they had even been here. Our historic house had a base layer of lead paint and a lot of peeling on the south side so our job required lead paint abatement protocols. I was pretty nervous about the whole thing but Apex handled it with extreme skill and professionalism. I never even saw one flake of paint on the ground during the course of the whole job. Towards the end of the job, one of the painters accidentally stepped in a hole that I had dug to do some plumbing repairs next to the house. Unfortunately, the painter stepped on the water service line and broke the pipe connection. I really should have done better at covering the hole with plywood or something but Evan and his team immediately swung into action and took care of everything. They turned off the water to the house, informed me of what was happening, and called a local plumber to come and fix the connection. Evan personally stayed with us at the house until the plumber had finished his repair work. The whole event was done and over in time for dinner. I was extremely impressed with Evan's calm professionalism and rapid response. It was one of the most impressive contractor experiences I've ever had. During the course of the job my wife and I also requested that our front porch be painted as well as a backyard shed that wasn't part of the original estimate. Evan only charged us for time & labor and finished the extra work within the original quoted timeline. I was nervous to request the extra work but they made me feel like it was no problem at all. At the end of it all, our house looks AMAZING. My wife and I have stood outside just to admire the job multiple times just because we love it so much! All of our neighbors have commented on how they love the work and even the mayor of our small town complimented us on the work. We could not be happier. Long story short: If you want an expert, professional, fast, friendly, and very reasonably priced exterior house painting company....look no further than Apex Paint and Remodel LCC. You will NOT be disappointed!

I am beyond pleased with the work provided by this company! My 4100 sq ft house and 72' x 48' two story barn were in need of a paint job and some repairs. From the onset, communication with the owner, Evan, and their estimator, Brady, was clear and concise. Evan worked diligently in getting the paint I wanted despite there being a shortage of quality paint this year. The primary work crew consisted of the lead, Richard, and Eric with other members rotating. These guys did an absolutely awesome paint job! They were meticulous and detailed oriented; they arrived on time and left the job site spotless every day. Toward the end of the project, I made a list of items to be corrected. I shouldn't have bothered because without even looking at my list, Richard had noted and corrected each item (as well as items I had overlooked). Eric must have goat DNA as he was perched on 40' ladders and still able to do an amazing job. I was extremely pleased with the wood repairs performed by Justin. Everybody with whom I came into contact had a positive attitude throughout the project. What a refreshing feeling to know they liked their job and the company. It makes all the difference in the kind of work they produce. Does it sound like I would recommend this company? In a heartbeat!! This is a quality company that provided a top-notched product. I am thrilled with the entire job provided by Apex and would use them again.

The work was done well, with great attention to detail. The painters were prompt and pleasant, and respectful of my home.

Excellant service by Brady Stuve. Came to my house and looked my job over and was reaslly excited about take it over. Gave me a good quote and took the kitchen doors away. With in a few days all the doors came back and they looked excellant!!! Hats off to Apex Paint & Remodel!!!!

WOW. words fail me to say how happy I am with these guys and their work! I got a quote the next morning on a Friday from Brady...(Risking his life and limbs on my icy steep driveway in the middle of an ice storm mind you).... where I was quoted an unbeatable price for painting the interior of my hideous garage. I am normally the get three bids type of girl, but I knew I didn't need to look any further. My cost included paint I picked out, which I think is rare! Work started that Mon. Evan, the owner, personally stopped by in the AM to insure everything was good to go to start and reassured us his guys are seasoned and would do quality work, maintaining a clean work space as to not mess up my new epoxy floors. Our painters, Richard and Justin, knocked out the entire project in a little over a day. They applied two coats and The next morning came back to meticulously take care of any touch ups or missed spots. They cleaned up everything when they were done. My little OCD heart was completely thrilled by the quality of their work. I highly recommend Apex Paint and Remodel to anyone searching for quality, timely and AFFORDABLE work! Apex did an outstanding job on our guest bathroom remodel. Evan, Jeremy, and Jason are so awesome to work with. They care about everything and really are detail oriented. We had them remove the old tub/shower insert and put in a new one. They removed a soffit, installed shiplap, new trim, painted the cabinetry and walls. Beautiful result. Highly recommend Apex.

I first took notice of Apex when they painted my neighbor's house, and how nice it looked. I decided to hire them to paint our house, and I'm so glad I did. I can't say enough about the professionalism and work ethic of Evan and his team. They were thorough with the prep work and painting, and helped with color choice. We are very pleased with the job they did. We highly recommend them, knowing that they have the skills and determination to get the job done right.

Evan from Apex gave a reasonable bid and followed through on the job. He and his workers were friendly, prompt and cleaned up after themselves. Every time we called him he got back to us right away. Very professional. Will use him when we paint our house next year.

Evan, the owner, showed up as scheduled to look at my house so he could give me an estimate. He gave me a verbal quote, he said he would send me a written estimate via email. He didn’t. No phone call saying he didn’t want the job. Left me hanging. Very unprofessional. Highly unsatisfied.

It went extremely well. They replaced several rotten boards , caulked everything and painted the exterior front of the house per our contract. They were extremely prompt, arriving exactly as scheduled. They even repainted under a difficult to reach entrance deck that we didn't expect them to. A very nice surprise and much needed. I highly recommend them and will use again most definitely.

good contractors are hard to find. finding a contractor who is a good craftsmen and who runs their business operation professionally are even harder to find. APEX painting is a contractor who handles the business part of their operation as well as the craftsmen part. what stands out in my mind is the quality of work. our house is 20 years old with features that would make exterior painting challenging if not difficult. the end product was a beautifully painted house looking much younger than its actual age. i would not hesitate to recommend APEX for painting based on our experience, in fact i have (to my neighbor)...

Evan and his crew were fantastic. They recently completed a month long project that included cabinet painting, multiple rooms painted including ceilings and trim, bathroom update, installing flooring, beams, and updating our fireplace with floor to ceiling brick. There are not enough superlatives to describe Apex Painting and Remodel. Evan’s team is first class in everything they do. Starting with the initial quote all the way to the final walk through. Evan communicated with us daily, he was personable, honest, and professional. I was very impressed with the attention to detail and the impeccable organization. We have worked with several contractors in the past, Apex Paint and Remodel is head and shoulders above the rest. The team was an extension of Evan. Evan and his crew are fantastic. Everything was beautifully executed and cheerfully done. I truly enjoy having Apex work on my house, as they are always highly professional, very pleasant, and just plain fun to have around. I have already hired them back for more small remodel jobs after the exterior painting went so well - I was especially impressed with how carefully they worked around several birdhouses in my eaves with active bird nests.

Apex Paint and Remodel. This is NOT just another "guy" with a truck that can throw some paint on your house. First impression on the phone to get a quote "wow I could talk to this guy for hours over a beer" and then I found out it was the owner himself. Evan (owner) showed up on time (just a tad early TBH) for the one-on-one meeting and review of the job. His business van was legit, no joke clean well setup and had a slick looking vinyl. It showed he took pride in his company. Anyways, we did a walk around the house. He had great questions that helped us get down to the critical details so he could give a well detailed bid on the job and was very open to my goals and questions as well. He even had a built out portfolio of work his teams have completed and with his portfolio we were able to choose colors and styles on the spot. We set a date for the job to be completed a month out. Evan stayed in clear and consistent communication with me as we got closer to the set date, keeping me aware that everything was on track for my house to get painted. His team was on time both days. The work they did looks awesome (its like a whole new house now) and they didn't leave a trace of a mess afterwards. Honestly I couldn't be happier with the quality and the experience I had with Apex. I would highly recommend and will work with them again when the time comes.
