AMERICAN FLUORESCENT INC

This bulb that we were buying costs 38.00. Which I was willing to pay for because it was going to assist my mother. I was told by the salesperson that this would work in any three way switch lamp, and provide the necessary white light. When purchased we discovered that it did not fit our lamps at either of the houses, the base of the bulb was too large for any regular socket. When I took the bulb back I was told there was in no way shape or form a possibility of a refund, but they would give store credit. NOT WHAT I WANT! Roxie behind the counter stated that is the company policy no exceptions. She then told me if I want to fix this issue I would need to purchase a new lamp that is a specialty lamp for this bulb. This is totally a contradiction to what I was originally told. Second I could understand if these were custom made for me and me only but they are not they are retail bulbs that other stores sell as well. To sum it up the employees here are liars! I want my $ back!
