AJ Craftsman

I hired AJ to install an electric range fill kit that I had purchased. He looked at the instuctions and examined the fill kit prior to the visit to install the kit. When he attempted to install the kit, he told me he forgot to bring a metal cutting blade, but would use a grinder to cut the steel piece to the right length. (even though he knew he would need a metal saw and blade) Then he cut one of the pieces too short, and also ruined the paint on the pieces by using the grinder. He proposed filling the gap with silicone and that I buy paint to cover it. I told him I was skeptical, and asked him if he would make it right if we didn't like the result. He looked me in the eye, smiled, and said that he would. The silicone shrunk and looked awful. Painting it would not have helped. I notified AJ that I purchased another fill kit and asked him to contact me to install it. He ghosted me and has not responded. So I had to buy another kit and also pay someone else to cut it. I really regret hiring him, and I'm so disappointed since I liked him and thought he was a trustworthy person.

Andrew and Paul came to our home on short notice to assess and clean our crawl space after we’d seen a stray cat get in a few times (the crawl space entrance had been unwittingly exposed when we installed our deck late last summer). Andrew was flexible about fitting us in on short notice and they were punctual, excellent communicators, friendly, thorough, efficient, and top-notch professionals. We highly recommend Andrew and his team for any job you have. Andrew has a broad range of expertise and we feel fortunate to have found him for the work we needed.

We are extremely pleased with the work AJ of AJ Craftsman did for us. He laid a foundation and erected a greenhouse kit. Specifically: He provided a fair estimate and his final bill was the same. He completed the work in two days, starting early and working a full day. He had the right tools and knew how to use them. He carefully read the kit instructions and was methodical in his work. He was very organized and cleaned up each day We will definitely use AJ’s services again. Finally, AJ got an excellent character reference from our dog. She took an immediate liking to AJ. Licking his hand and wagging her tail.

Very good. AJ put my desk together in record time and did it correctly. He can assemble and fix most anything. Equally important is that I feel comfortable having him in my home. He is honest and very hardworking!

Great job. Paid attention to detail. Removed all fixtures and replaced them after painting. Left no mess. House is aprox 1500 sq ft. He painted every room.

We are happy with the quality of work done and cleanup afterwards. Some deviations to the project were required by what was found. We had discussed this before starting the project. and were pleased with the overall results and cost. I have recommended AJ to others and currently have committed to an additional project for repairs around the kitchen sink and installing backsplash. We have not yet decided on what backsplash material to use.
