Description of Work: This was a very valuable Angie's List promotion, furnace service-check from Aire Serv. All went very well. Jerime Harrington did my inspection and discovered multiple cracks in the heat exchanger of my 12-year old furnace. I had the furnace replaced with a new Lennox furnace from Aire Serv and am very happy with the purchase and their installation, to date.

Description of Work: Maintenance on my heat/ac unit. Tech said it was in an electric fire and wouldn't touch it. This was not true. It had a new panel over the old damage. Had to bring in another contractor for another $60!

Description of Work: It was fantastic! They did much more than the last company I hired (not on Angie's List). I only wish I could recall the name of the man who did my service. He was outstanding and took time to answer my questions.

Description of Work: It took 26 days to get a UV bulb replaced. From what I understand, part of this delay was from lack of stock and ordering it. However, I had to initiate the phone calls as to the status, since it was supposed to only take 2-3 days for the bulb replacement; even calls u made weren't responded to by the tech. After all was said and done, the tech was very apologetic, admitting he hadn't acted responsively, and offered to extend my annual plan another year. I'm hoping I'll have a long business relationship with this local service. We'll see how it goes from here. Otherwise, very professional service.

Description of Work: When they came to do the serving of the system they discovered old system did not meet code and that an oil leak in the motor had caused a fire. The entire system was damaged. They ended up replacing the entire system for us and bringing our heating/cooling system up to code. They did a great job and had it done in one day. The cost was around what we were expecting and the financing that they offered was reasonable. We would definitely use them again. They were very professional and efficient.

Description of Work: They completed a thorough inspection of the furnace, air-conditioning and condenser. They check refrigerant pressures and system tested everything for proper operation. They also gave me quotations for system upgrades. Overall a very good service company, and I would use them again.

Description of Work: Let me first say that I have not had my service completed yet. I used Angie's list for an inspection of my natural gas furnace. These guys were thorough, friendly and professional. Apparently my 9-year old furnace had been installed improperly and caused the unit to rust out, as well as the flue pipe to gather condensation, leak, and put a hold in my ceiling. Aire Serv offered to replace the entire unit, as well as fix the flue pipe issue, for a total of $2,700. I don't have that kind of money laying around, so they allowed me to break that down into 3 payments of $900 each, over a 90-day period. As someone with less than fair credit, they were willing to help me out anyway. While this was mid-March, I chose to wait to have the furnace replaced. They still offered to bring space heaters to the house so the family wouldn't get cold. |Anytime you can find someone that is willing to work with you, as well as go out of their way to help your family in hard times, you know you have found someone worthy of building a relationship with. These guys will have my business forever!

Description of Work: Inspected and serviced Air Conditioner and Heater, replaced condenser. The service man Trevor, provided the best service I have ever had from any Heating & Air Conditioning company I've ever used. He answered all my questions, gave me information he thought I needed that I didn't know I needed...and his work on the furnace and air conditioner was excellent. The heater made a lot of noise while running even though it is fairly new and was quite noisy from the day it was put in by another company. Once he left and I tested it to see if everything was working properly, at first, it was so quiet I thought it wasn't running. Then I put my hand |over the register and I could feel the warm air coming out. The condenser was the only thing I paid extra for. It cost $300.00 which I thought was a little high, but since I hadn't priced them beforehand, and Trevor was doing such a good job for the service special I bought, I decided it was worth the money to have him replace it |before he left. I think Trevor is a gem. More companies should have workers like him.

Description of Work: They were great. Went through our entire system, gave us great advice, and provide new filters at no extra cost. We will use again.

Description of Work: Everything went very smoothly. Both my air conditioning unit and heating unit were checked. The service technician took his time and did a very thorough job. He was there for over an hour. I was very satisfied.
