Description of Work: They installed a new high effecinacy furnace and later when they heard the news that my husband was in a fatal car accident the same evening, they called and donated he entire thing even going so far as to work that out with the manufacturer Lennox. An amazing company with an amazing heart. Please share my testimony publicly to let everyone know what a wonderful group of people they are!

Description of Work: Our first encounter with Aire Serv was very positive; service performed on our furnace was reasonably priced and the technician was very professional and knowledgeable. Because saving a few hundred dollars.....always gets you a cheaper product/service....not a better one. | |Best |Dean | |Of course I was "shopping around" performing a due diligence comparison between companies/products. | |I felt "Dean's" response was quite rude, disrespectful and unprofessional!; therefore, ultimately we went with another company (DAY HEATING), for furnace and air conditioning installation. | |The DAY HEATING sales representative, Gary, as well as the installers and office staff were all very professional, knowledgeable and respectful. In fact I felt Gary, Day's Heating sales representative went above-and-beyond on his responsiveness and education of product comparison, rebates, and programming of the new thermostat. | |I would highly recommend Day Heating and give them an "A" rating! | |In conclusion: |I would discourage anyone from working with "Dean", Aire Serve sales representative. Description of Work: My air conditioner unit stopped working. They could not repair the existing air conditioner. I opted to replace it with a new one. They were able to do this the same day. This impressed me. However, when the technician was removing the old unit he dripped oil all along my fairly new walkway. I complained and he came back with a pressure washer and was still unable to get the stains out. In fact he made it look worse. The issue still has not been resolved. No senior representative ever came to look at the walkway, which surprised me.

Description of Work: ***SERVICE ABOVE AND BEYOND*** |On Sunday my 25 year old furnace stopped working. Early Monday I called Aire Serv Heating and Air Conditioning. Within an hour a repair technician was here. After checking the furnace, it was determined that it was cost effective to replace it. They immediately located a new furnace and started removing the old furnace while picking up the new one. They had the job completed by 5:00 pm. |At the time I was sick and was huddled in front of a fire in the fireplace. |When the crew arrived they brought in 3 space heaters to warm the house. Also when outside, they smelled plastic burning, and saw that the roofers that reroofed my house had wrapped the chimney with plastic and forgot to remove it, so the Aire Serv crew went on the roof and removed the plastic. |

Description of Work: They came out to do a check up on our central air conditioner. I was told I had to much refrigerant in the system and that would cause problems down the road. So we had them remove the refrigerant. However, I noticed that our air conditioner would not get as cold as before they removed the refrigerant. Ask them to come back out to replace refrigerant, they came back but our system would not get as cool as it did before they worked on it. Call them to complain that we wanted it back to the way it was before they worked on it. They came out two more times but it never work the same. In the summer is when you really need the central air to work good. And since they worked on it, I'm not pleased with the results.

Description of Work: I was told the dust and dirt smell in my home was likely due to the air ducts needing cleaning. It did not fix the problem. It was worse after the service.

Description of Work: The promotional offer I used was for the diagnostic only. The furnace was acting up, but working fine when the technician came. Recommended to replace the furnace since the 20 year old furnace was at the end of its life. Gave me oral estimate for lower end Lennox furnace. However, I never got a written estimate and what is included in the contract. Later I asked for an estimate of a different model furnace. Again the estimate was over the phone. I ended of getting a new furnace from a different company even if price was a little higher.
