Aire Serv of the Willamette

We purchased the deal for tune-up. Serviceman came and performed the work, found low level of refrigerant. Unfortunately our A/C is of older model (yr 1999) so the refill was expensive. He mentioned that possible leaks too and offer to put in the dyed to trace them. We didn't do that as the price is too expensive for us but other than that the overall experience is positive.

I would give him straight 5 stars. The kid was just really pleasant, friendly, helpful, and informative. He told me everything he was doing and why. He was very honest and didn't try to sell me anything extra.

Update 7/10- Since we had the tune-up done we replaced the thermostat ourselves as suggested but we couldn't get the fan to run when the AC was turned on. We tried everything but ended up calling Aire Serv and they fit us in on a very hot week! We are so thankful that they came out the same week we called and fixed this for us at no cost. So happy to have working AC with triple digits coming next week! Thank you Aire Serv!! We had an Angie's list deal for an AC tune up with this company. They scheduled us very quickly considering its June and I'm sure they are very busy with people wanting to be ready for the heatwave. The service guy was very nice, personable and gave great tips with our furnace and ac units. He wore booties to keep our floors clean which is very respectful. Our Angie's List deal was only a tune-up for the ac unit but he also checked out our furnace, ensured it was working efficiently. Our thermostat hasn't been working well so he gave advice for installing on our own as well as quoted a price for him to replace same day. He replaced a condenser in the AC unit and gave us an Angie's list discount on the part and we get a 5yr warranty with it. He suggested we do a late fall service on our furnace so we'll for sure be calling to have that done before winter hits!

Excellent! Very friendly & pleasant. Did not attempt to sell us something we did not need. Plan to have them do an annual service as well any work need in between.

The service turned out fine. I also had them install something to where I only have to replace my filter once a year instead of every 3 months after the initial deal service. The filter is much better than the original. They were very nice and polite and even sweet to my dog. Scheduling was very good and if they need to come to repair anything they will do so free of cost.

The air conditioner works great now and the technician was very knowledgable and did a great job

I only communicated with the provider to cancel my order because I ordered it in the wrong city. Their customer service was great!

He inspected the furnace, and gave our tenant several options for fixing it. He was very thorough and professional.

The provider responded promptly and came when scheduled. He discovered a couple of minor problems with the furnace and fixed them at a very reasonable price. He pointed out service that would be needed in the future but said it was not needed now. The tech was very pleasant, professional and easy to work with.

Tech arrived on site on time. Quickly diagnosed a failed capacitor was preventing the compressor from starting. He replaced the capacitor and while unit was open he cleaned the coil/grill. After he left I noticed that the unit was functioning in reverse, that is the fan was pulling air in from above and venting out the sides rather than pulling from the sides and venting out the top. I called and talked directly to the tech and he is going to swing by this morning and look into the issue.

Job had some unexpected things pop up which cost more, but the service was good

Chad Arrived on time and had job done in 21/2 hrs. He was very professional and Provided detail analysis of the tests he would perform on both gas and ac units answered all my questions. Performed professional cleaning and safety check on Air condition chiller and lines to coils in the fan box and checked out the Gas furnace for any safety issues or problems. I really appreciate doing business with them even the receptionist was very nice and helpful

It turned out fine. They put in a new switch that saved us a lot of money.

He was very considerate, efficient, and professional, did a thorough job and explained in detail what he checked and the outcome.

Naturally, when we were hit by a big snow storm our two year old HVAC unit died on us! We had noticed the evening before that the fan seemed to stay on and it wasn't getting much warmer. The next morning we realized that we were only getting cold air. I had already used aire serve once for a yearly tune up. Just like the first time I called I got a prompt response. We were told that because of the cold snap they were being inundated with phone calls. I think that he said something about having been up since four in the morning running from place to place. He said that he would be traveling near our place on the way to another job and he would stop by. It seems like it was only an hour and a half before he got to us. He quickly ran around from outside to inside to outside again. Our heat turned on ( he got it on an emergency setting) and told us that it would be good until he got us the part we needed. Thank God! The house heated right up. A couple days later, he was back with the part and had it running in no time. The part was free since it was still under warranty. We were charged around $245 for labor. I believe that it broke down on a weekend so I would not be surprised if that had something to do with the final bill. All in all we find them to be trustworthy, efficient, and professional.

It went good, they were very professional and had great expertise. I would use their service in the future without a doubt.

They did a yearly maintenance on the furnace which I thought was very good work, but their Angies List "deal" was the same price normally charged by James Heating and cooling. However they found I needed to replace the inducer (sp) motor, quoted me a price in the $700 range, but then offered to do it for $679. I called another outfit I trusted, James, and they fixed it for $513. I just don't think a $219 yearly fee for a membership in something I do not recall, that would get me a discount price for repairs that is still substantially higher than a competitor is very good. I did not give an F for the price since I think they do good work, but cannot give it a C since I think the "deal" and their yearly fee is misleading . A warning since I screwed and did not read the Angies List deal correctly. I thought it was for both air conditioning and furnace, but it was for one or the other, and I did not know they did not check . I do not know how much they would charge for both combined, but James would do both for $149.

It was a pretty good deal. They did everything I would have expected. I would give them B- for overall because of the high-pressure sales.

They provided excellent service. They spent 3.5 hours thoroughly cleaning all heating ducts, registers, filters. Best of all, they were courteous and were very conscientious about cleaning up after themselves.
