Aire Serv of the Willamette

The young man was very polite. However, his equipment was falling apart (reminded me of the duct tape kitchen repair ad on TV) and the hose was only able to reach about 20 feet if or when it could go around an elbow. I estimate he was able to reach and clean less than 50% of the ductwork. I called the owner of Aire Serv. to offer polite feedback. He seemed to be quite the grump and had numerous excuses. At the end of the conversation he offered 'Well, ok thanks." in a much less than appreciative tone. In my opinion he did not care.

It went great. Our filters hadn't been fitting properly for our blower assembly needed to be removed and cleaned. Aire Serv helped with getting our new filters to fit right after the cleaning.

They were prompt to do an assessment of the problem. Because of the top rating I agreed to the estimate given. I stated that $720 for just a couple of parts seemed excessive and the tech agreed that the parts were very expensive. OK, cool. They came out a few days later than agreed to finish the repair. Everything was paid for in advance as it was a "special order". The system is working well now. There was only a ONE year warranty which took me by surprise. I sent the invoice to my boss who immediately asked for a cost breakdown much like you receive from any auto mechanic. He noticed online that the prices were very low for a motor ($60 to $80). I requested an itemized list of parts/prices and labor costs. This was not honored. I made 3 requests and they would only provide the overall charge for services. So, without a breakdown for me to review I am left to assume. Not good. My assumption is that we got taken to the cleaners at about $500/hour labor. I do not like shady or deceptive practices. I was clearly led to believe the parts were the bulk of the estimate. Remember, the tech, Chris, agreed that the parts were indeed very expensive. Little sour taste in my mouth.

This was a big deal purchase and it was okay. I did not pay extra. I used them about a month after I bought the deal. The pricing was fine. I think the tech was new.

I would whole heartedly recommend Aire Serve. I've been using them for a few years now. they are always courteous, professional, and punctual. they always take their time to do make sure the job is done right the first time. A lot of other guys will come by rush through it and take off to their next job because they pack so much in one day. I felt aire serve was able to discuss with me at great length and depth the details of what they found and offered great suggestions on how to fix it. I really appreciate this fact. in my opinion they really do go above and beyond. Their price is really good for the level of service and detail you get wit the inspection and tuneup.

Jerime Harrington was very professional and kind. He was also very patient with me and answered my questions so that I understood. He went all out and even cleaned the slats on the front of the handler (?). The outside of where the filters go, if that makes sense. I'd be pleased to see him on future services.

They were very professional and thorough. Their communication was great from the beginning and they showed up right on time. I worked with a gentleman named Jeremy who was very helpful in pointing out some areas on concern and aided in my decision to replace the HVAC system. I did not feel pressured to make this decision, he just showed me some issues that may arise down the road and I decided it made sense to replace the system. I was thankful for his advice.

They gave me an added discount as I was an Angie's List customer. They squeezed me in at the end of their day at 5 o'clock, and actually stayed out near 9 to ensure the job was completed up to standards. Ryan, Nate, and Randy worked very well together. They showed up at different times as they were coming from different projects but closed their days out at my home and seemed to create a great team environment to get the job done. They explained the new system to me very well. They also noticed a broken down duct in the crawl space that they noted would cause unbalanced ventilation issues between both floors, they cleaned the duct there on the spot and sent a technician out a few days later to reinvestigate and replace the duct. They also directed me to a company that sells an external cover for the unit to prevent pine needles from my property entering the vents. They even offered to install this for me free of charge after I purchased it from another vendor--actually saving me 50% of the cost should I have purchased directly from them. They were extremely accommodating and I am satisfied with me results. They are now my permanent HVAC provider based off of this experience.

Service professional was excellent. The routine cleaning took care of the problem with the heat. I would certainly use these guys again. Having said that: When they wanted to reschedule for the 2nd time I told it it was my turn. They quickly made it right and the appointment was on time as promised.

Just purchased home. Noted Aire-Serv had done the previous maintenance. Purchased Angie' s list coupon for 50Point Heating and Cooling Tune-Up. The technician Jerime was great. He was courteous, listened to and answered a lot of questions we had. He took the time to go through both units entirely. The units are well past their end of life and we will be replacing as soon as possible. But he left with everything working great. Would definitely recommend Aire-serv and their technician Jerime.

The techs. were very courteous, efficient and techinically excellent. They spent the entire day to complete the job and were working in the area with four dogs and were so good with them. They were friendly and kind as I have some disabilities. They wanted to make sure I was completely satisfied. They cleaned up everything. They went the extra mile when providing cover for crawlspace, a screen replaced and a fence to protect the heat pump from dogs. I can't say enough about this company. Superb.

We purchased the indoor service Groupon only, but the fee was applied to servicing both outdoor and indoor units of our central air-conditioning system. They were on time, professional, answered all our questions, and were easy to work with. Would use them again.

Nathaniel (Nate) came out and did an amazing job. Super professional, friendly, helpful. Worth every penny. When a company has an employee like Nate it makes me want to use them again for any heating/cooling issue. I think the price was very reasonable too.

Technician Jerime Harrington is one of the best technicians Aire Serv has ion their maintenance team. He is courteous, listens intently and remembers all of the details about the job.

It was fine. He said my air conditioning unit would fail and tried to sell me a new one yet I thought the it was working just fine. There was no issue with the timing and he was responsive. They were very cooperative and the pricing was fine. There were minimal additional charges for a blown fuse.

Technician was very professional and thorough. Would definitely use this company again!

We were contacted by Aire Serv the day after the deal appeared on Angie's list. It had ben 3 years since our furnace had been serviced and we had used just the system fan for the last 8 months because of warm weather. A/C is not a part of our central heating system. An appointment was set for the next week and Trevor was the serviceman that came to our home. He was on time, courteous, professional and knowledgeable. He did a complete inspection of the furnace itself and measured air flow at the air return duct and the delivery vents. He assured us the system is in good working order and required no repairs and recommended annual inspections because of the furnace's age. My husband has lung disease and we had questions about replacing or improving the electronic air cleaner/filter on our 25 year old system. Trevor explained options available without any kind of a sales pitch. We would definitely call Aire Serv again.

Service call to address what was covered in their discount promotion went very well and the technician, Jantsen, was very informative and cordial. As I expected, there were quite a few suggestions on thing that should be replaced or have further service, examples: replace condenser fan motor, replace draft inducer assembly, remove, clean and reinstall coil (air). Also quoted a couple other items I requested to better enhance my system...ultraviolet air purification unit and MERV 10 Aprilaire filter box air cleaner. Because my HVAC unit is an original one (18yrs), I'm not surprised with the suggestions, and the fact that the unit is ONLY an 80% efficient unit I asked for a quote on a newer 95% unit. I received their quote and pursued two other companies for quotes and found that there wasn't a big price variance. AireServ was in the middle but will most likely get the business because of their professionalism AND no pressure to sell me.
