This company is AMAZING! A couple years ago we won a free maintenence thing. That's how we found them. Theyre our go too for all our HVAC now. Just had them clean our ducts. It was really bad. They got decades of debri out and the staff were awesome. You want this company working in your home.

It was a dream job. Totally on schedule, everything as promised. Tom the sales guy knows this industry backwards and forwards, and listens well. The crew were polite, well-mannered, very respectiful, and also good at communicating what they were doing and why. And they are exceedingly competent. I highly recommend Advantage.

I'm absolutely thrilled with the service from Advantage and the heat pump. The salesman Steve was helpful, very knowledgeable, and thorough. He made sure I understood all the details of my choices, answered my questions after I had more quotes and did more research, explained to me how a heat pump works and how it will enhance my existing system, researched my potential tax credits and incentives, then made sure I was scheduled properly with the installers. The office person was very nice taking my credit card over the phone and getting receipts to me promptly. The installers were excellent. They were quiet, efficient, courteous about keeping my home clean and tidy, and took the time to explain to me how the system works, how to program and use the new thermostat, how to maintain the inside units, and how to take care of the outside unit. The price was in line with my other quotes.

Horrible service from the the guy who talked to me like I'm an idiot as he's chewing a big wad of Bubble Yum bubble gum completely rude wouldn't explain anything to me except for my furnace is broken and then when I asked what was broken it got bad from there had him leave Out My Backdoor told him my friends leave out my front

We have used them since we’ve lived here. They come twice a year. It is a yearly thing, we pay $149. They’re wonderful.

Didn't get past the people answering the phone. Not helpful at all, did not listen to anything that I said only to transfer me to somebody else who began asking all the same questions. Did not seem at all eager to help, but like I was inconveniencing them by calling.

I am so happy with my experience with these guys. They came out and quoted me a brand new furnace and it was almost half the price of other quotes I was getting. They were able to get out within two days and install a brand new furnace. It is running beautifully and we are warm again!! The installer left no mess whatsoever. If there hadn't been a new furnace sitting in my laundry room I wouldn't have even known they were there! To top it off I was having problems with the duct work under my house after the installation (not caused by them) and they are coming out to check it for me, again within two days. Absolutely recommend this company (in fact I already have). Service is incredible and all the staff is friendly and helpful.

I was a little surprised that they were working on christmas eve, but they came out & did the job within 1/2 days work. I was instructed on the remote & shown all the features. Rebates are available through the Energy Trust & some utility companies (such as Salem Electric). So, even though the price was $3500....I actually paid much less than that.

Pre-sale conference, determination of correct unit size, contract, installation, and follow up. In the process they saved me about $400.00. I have also used then for repairs to my water heater and furnace. They are professional, well trained, and honest.

Used HalfPriceOregon.com gift certificate for an A/C checkup. Tech arrived on time, was courteous and communicative, gave good advice, and didn't upsell. Topped off the refrigerant for no extra charge (just needed a few ounces). I'll use them again for checkups and any repairs I can't do myself. "Cost of service" is the supposed gift certificate value; I paid much less for it through halfpriceoregon.com.

I contacted Advantage Heating and Air Conditioning after seeing very favorable reviews on Angie's and also having no significant claims on BBB. The office staff was extremely friendly when I called and scheduled their visit for the time frame I requested. I used a coupon on Angie?s list for their (Advantage Heating and Air) annual AC/Furnace maintenance plan which gets you two visits a year for service/performance check at reasonable cost. The technician arrived within the appointed time range and seemed very proficient at his job. Two months later, August 2014, I called for service on my AC system. The technician arrived in scheduled window and made repairs in less than one hour, cost $105. Technician stated if same problem reoccurs within 30 days they will return without charging the service call fee. Problem ended up worse than before their service call and I scheduled a return visit. The technician recommended using a condensation pump on this follow-up service call and installed one next to the furnace. A quote was not provided and I worked under the assumption this was time and material like the two previous visits. Assumption was supported by questions about installing additional safety features like auto shutoff if pump fails. Time on site was 30 minutes, bill was $300. I asked why it was so much and was told the pumps were expensive. Subsequently, I looked online at the make and model of the condensation pump installed and discovered it was a $45 pump (online cost w/ shipping). I called Advantage Heating and Air Conditioning back the next business day thinking the technician made a mistake. I was transferred to Connie and told that it was not a mistake; Advantage charges a flat fee of $300 for installation of the condensation pump. For this specific service call, that fee equates to an hourly labor rate of roughly $500. Our real problem with Advantage Heating and Air Conditioning, outside the sticker shock, is that we did not receive a level of service commensurate to the fixed rate service fee. The technician took several shortcuts that should not have occurred: 1. Asking if I wanted an additional safety feature for shutting down the AC/Furnace if pump was about to overflow should have been standard part of installation or at least included in fee. This was two wires run to the furnace circuit board. 2. Using existing drain line (original cause of problem) instead of installing the new drain line that came with the pump. 3. The power wires between the pump and the furnace were left loose/dangling versus wrapped/secured. 4. I had to provide the electrical wire nuts for the technician to complete the job because he did not have any in the service truck. Advantage made no effort to address my concerns expressed during the phone call. While scheduling service was a pleasant experience I find the quality of work and customer support lacking for this service call.

IThe crew was pleasant and professional and did an excellent job with the installation. It only took them one morning to do the job. I love this unit, i used to use baseboard heat which is quite expensive, now I keep all my doors open and the heat circulates through out the whole house. In the summer my house used to be as hot as an oven, now last summer it was always so refreshingly cool all the time. I would recommend one of these units to anyone. Pat at Advantage Heating & Air Conditioning was really pleasant to work with. He would call me and ask if I had any questions that he could answer. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a ductless heat pump.

Smooth and quick! The work was followed up by the sales rep to make sure everything was working and to answer any questions. Am enjoying a $20/month decrease in electricity, and cool air in the summer and more even warmth in the winter.

During cold weather our old furnace went out. We called three companies for bids and Advantage was the first to respond. I was told they would finance at a reasonable rate and they could install on Friday. The other two companies came out the next day, did not offer financing and coud not install until Tuesday the following week. Then I recieved a call from Advantage saying they would not offer financing because of my debt to income ratio. Because they could install on Friday we bought from them. The letter sent to me denying credit states my credit score is 805. The installers are polite, clean, fast, professional and did a wonderful job very quickly. The only problem was the financing I had counter on.

Very good service. I decided to sign up for contiued maintenence agreement based upon this experience. I have two furnaces and two central air conditioners. Money well spent to make sure they are always in good repair.

very pleased with estimator but went with another company

It went very well. Their pricing was alot lower for the same equipment and services offered by other companies. Jim and Melanie Frantz were very courteous and professional. No surprises, he came in and did the job exacly as proposed.

They would come even on a weekend if we have any problem. A couple of times we have had a problem with our furnace. They had to come late in the evening or during the weekend till we got that resolved. They were very responsive. They would call us and let us know if they were not coming to our house when they said they would.

We returned home after a week in Denver to find our furnace not working and our house was 42*. We called Advantage Heating first thing in the morning at 8am. They couldn't get out to our house til the following day to look at the problem. This all took place the week the valley had snow fall and flooding rain. After finding the blower motor needed replaced on the furnace they'd sold and installed just seven years previously we were told it'd be a week until they could order the part and be back to fix it. So during the next week we borrowed a friends space heater, closed off all the bedrooms and bathrooms, and bundled ourselves up trying to keep warm. After waiting a week my husband called to inquire when they were coming, they didn't know anything about us. They told him they'd check into it and call him back. We made one phone call to another company who came out the same afternoon, diagnosed, and repaired our furnace that same day.

Advantage was the third company to give us a quote for a new Air Conditioner. We discovered that the old furnace would have to have additional work to accomodate an air conditioner. Using tax credits, our home warrenty and discounts, Advantage was able to demonstrate how we could purchase both a furnace and an air conditioner for less than the price of just the Air Conditioner. Everyone at Advantage was professional and more than helpful. They were prompt and we have been more than satisfied with the results.

It was probably the worst experience we?ve had. It took them a year to get the system in and have it actually functioning. It seemed like they made all these promises that things would happen by a certain date but nothing was ever completed on time or according to the contract. The price was competitive with other people.

They are new to us, but they are an established Keizer business. I didn't think it was necessary for them to check the ducts for leaks. They were professional. We got three quotes and they were very competitive with another one. They were the two lowest. Overall, they were lower on the system we went with. The quality was very good. It's still working and the house is nice and warm. Their responsiveness was very good. I would use them again in the future.
