MCMULLEN WATER SYSTEMS

They gave me a quote. I later contacted them twice, first by email and then by phone. No response after a month.

I called and talked with someone to ask about a getting a quote for a water softener system and was told someone else from the company, or the lady I was talking to, would call me back. That was over a week ago. I've moved on to others who are responsive - Culligan who has a local outfit just south of Portland.

Never responded to inquiry.

We originally found McMullen during the inspection period for our home. Cathy was tremendously helpful answering questions about local water quality and explained our well flow tests before our home purchase, so that we could feel comfortable with our investment. I probably talked to her once a week for about a month. Whenever she was unable to explain something, she had her husband, Scott, call to speak to me. They were able to come out to collect water samples for lab work quickly and with great communication. McMullen also came out to replace our water tank before we completed our home purchase, and the work was done very neatly. When it came time to ask about a water filter, they were the obvious choice. Justin tested our water for iron levels (it was red-ish and leaving stains) and talked us through the local geology and remediation options. Once the labs came back, he sized a softener and filtration system that was well within reason. We weren?t quite ready to pull the trigger, but he left us with the bid and brochures and no pressure. When we finally called to move forward, they were here within a week and finished up within a couple hours. Justin explained the system, how to care for it, and what to expect. The installation is a work of art. I?m pretty sure they even cleaned up some of the poorly routed pipes in our pump house from a prior contractor?s work. Best of all, our water looks and tastes great. It can be a little challenging to find reliable help for water and sewer in rural areas, but you can?t go wrong with McMullen.

McMullen's came on the 19th and found water of very good quality and volume within six hours of starting. The employees were very particular with their work and answered all questions with answers that we could understand. They tested the water for quality and mineral content. They also came in under their estimate, which we appreciated very much also. They are efficient and trustworthy. I highly recommend this water well company.

Our water pressure tank broke and I had two companies come out to do a quote. When Justin came out to do the quote, he was professional and gave me a courtesy call before he arrived. His price was competitive and beat out the other quote. On the day of the water pressure tank installation, he was punctual and came ready to work. The installation took about 30 -45 minutes long and once he was done he had me check the water pressure and everything worked out great! I would definitely use his water specialty company again!

Very - they arrived earlier than projected, and the work went faster than I'd expected.

The modifications and repairs updated and improved the efficiency and performance of the well. All the work that was done seems like it could have cost a lot more, but it did not. Great with providing information about the well.

In the inquiry stage, McMullen Water System (MWS) was prompt in responding to our email, provided answers to questions and gave possible scenarios to help identify and troubleshoot our water quality problem. Upon deciding on a course of action, MWS scheduled the work in a timely and was thorough in completing the job, bringing the equipment necessary the first time around to perform the work. After the work was completed, MWS has made themselves available to answer additional questions as they have arisen. McMullen Water Systems is knowledgeable and professional in every aspect. 5The service was quick for the plumber coming out to move the lines and run the drain lines, to Justin from McMullen installing the unit. Professional, and answered all questions for us. The unit is noiseless and takes up little room in the garage. We also go through very little salt in the storage container.
