Thought we had covered all aspects of the job to be done per contract. Most of the grading had already been done by my building contractor, so they were able to get started with installing the irrigation system right away, which was done while we were out of town, but it was the only time they said they could do it. We're still trying to figure out the layout of the system they installed, as they did not leave us map detailing that information (like they were supposed to); made it difficult installing plants & shrubs, since we're always afraid we're going to hit something when digging. Even though he said he could do the job for a specific amount, he was always trying to nickel & dime me for this and that all through the project, trying to get his original bid price up; didn't like it at all that I insisted on sticking to my original budget. Also, would tell me one thing on the work he would have done, and then tell the crew something else, as they always seemed perplexed when I would ask them about this or that having been done. A major problem revolved around a flagstone patio installed, which ended in a big dispute about the amount of stone they actually supplied, as opposed to the amount of stone I had procured on my own for the project, and that my building contractor had delivered for me. Big argument ensued and I had to end up firing him, for his dishonesty and rudeness. Buyer beware with this business!

Work went as planned, finished on time. However there are several problems that I think deserve the low rating I'm giving this service. Many of plants used were of low quality and some were planted improperly. For exampl the lavendar was planted in a heavy clay soil and set up to recieve daily watering. These plants died of rot the first year. Need dry well drained soil. These need to be redone as a result. Bark mulch was used instead of soil to back fill behind a retaining wall. The wall was not placed on a proper foundation in at least one spot. One planting bed that is in a covered area is on the same circuit as an outdoor planting so that in the winter when irragtion is not needed outdoors the indoor bed remains dry or has to be watered by hand. Poor design. This was one of the highest bids recieved for the work and we went with it because of favorable reviews. I would not rate this company highly and I don't want anyone else to have the same experience we had.
