Description of Work: About 2 weeks ago the laptop was corrupted with a virus. A.J. was able to clean that up for 60 bucks. Late last week the computer failed again, and this time it turned out to be the hard drive failure. A.J. replaced and upgraded the hard drive, windows operating system, upgraded it to 64 bit, and reinstall all the files. He seems to to be honest and very fair on price; however, his shop is a mess: it reminds me of a teenagers bedroom.

They gave me several options to choose from, even saying they would be glad to help us decide what computer to buy if we decided to replace it instead of fixing it. They told us the risks of the same burnout happening again if we decided to just replace the motherboard. They gave us enough facts to help us decide what to do, with no pressure to choose the option that would actually make them some money. Most of all, they were able to jump on our problem immediately, not make us wait 2 weeks for a diagnosis like some other computer repair shops. Thank you, MD Partech!!
Description of Work: My computer wouldn't come on at all--it just beeped. I took it in to them and they had it diagnosed for free in about one working hour. They offered to get a refurbished replacement motherboard to save me some money, and then installed it and had my computer back to me the same day that the replacement part arrived.
