We selected a flooring we loved and they came out to measure. they gave us a bid and told us that the flooring we liked there was not enough so we had to select a new flooring. We went back to the store and of course fell in love with a much higher priced flooring. We gave 50% down on the credit card and scheduled the install. The rest of our remodel was scheduled around the floor installing dates. The Friday before the Monday install of the flooring, they send out a sub contractor to review the job and he did not want to do the job. So they called me late Friday night to tell me they were not going to do the floor. The owner and the sales person / estimator would be out on Monday to see why the sun contractor would not do the job. If my husband was there, they would not have been so smug about it either. they really treated me poorly when they came on the install date to tell me they were not going to do it. "WE SHOULD HAVE NEVE BID THIS JOB." ...well that is not my fault. it is yours! Is that not why we ask for bids? so we
