It couldn't have gone better. Patrick taught us a great deal about generators and the issues involved with installation, use, and maintenance. Winter interceded before we could install the automatic generator, but we were able to get set up for a portable generator (the right solution with limited time available). Brian came up to do the detailed wiring work. He was punctual, a consummate professional, and the results have been outstanding. I can't recommend Murphy Electric highly enough.

I am always cautious of "the most competitive bid." In the circumstance, however, I could not imagine finding a more courteous and competent provider. Murphy showed up at 8am as promised; three trucks and 4 men. By 3:30 pm. the job was complete, including clean-up. The work was done in a neat and most professional manner. Only one change was made to the contract while the work was in progress, and that was at my request for some additional switching. I was given a fair quote for the added work, and approved it in advance. Will use this contractor again, and highly recommend them.

Pat Murphy was amazing. He explained the most likely issue, and told me where to go to find the GFIs that might have been tripped. I looked in several of the places he suggested, and ultimately found the correct one. A simple reset fixed the issue. I never would have looked in the correct place on my own, and he did the whole process on the phone with me, at no charge. What a guy! He also advised me to just be aware--something tripped that circuit, and it could happen again and might need further attention in the future. Meanwhile he will be the person I call if I need an electrician in the future.

When I called them on a Monday, they came out on a Tuesday. They came right on me. When they said they would be there, they called. About 50% work and that is done quickly and explained everything. They gave us a discount offer using Angie's List.

Never heard from the company for an estimate for the remodel.

Huge problem....called that morning and they got there that afternoon. Very good company to work with and will use them again.

Pat promptly returned my call to set up an estimate appointment. Brian arrived on time, less than 24 hours after first call, to do estimate. Very courteous and professional, and had my estimate back to me within an hour. He was very flexible about scheduling the actual work. Team arrived on time, calling first that morning to pinpoint their arrival time. They were very receptive to my input on location of outlets, etc. Work was completed in a timely manner, looks great and provided exactly what I needed. I can't imagine a better job performance. Very professional, respectful and efficient. New to the area, I have definitely found my electricians.
