We would recommend Alex Peters' company, Sequoia Stonescape, to anyone who wants the best at a reasonable cost. We worked with them in a joint project with Kaufman Homes to redo our front entrance. Kaufman's crew rebuilt the deck and Sequoia's crew removed the extensive rotting wood retaining walls and planters, concrete steps and walkways and aged stone patio. Then Sequoia replaced the old with modern clean lines in classic stone materials while managing the drainage issues, the irrigation system and adding built-in lighting to the stone steps and along the walls The members of the crew were always professional, arrived punctually, attended to potential safety hazards and cleaned up the job site at the end of each day's work. Earth moving equipment was used to prep the site for drainage and support and each piece of the project was installed with a watchmaker's precision. The crew's outstanding work ethic was obvious and garnered praise from observers as well as the other company's crew. Alex was available daily and responsive to any requests and modifications and offered suggestions to customize to our specific needs. Skilled crew members, Brant and Ethan, were helpful and considerate in all interactions and went the extra mile throughout the project. (Thanks, guys) The results are dramatic and add value to our home as well as pleasure to our lives.

Alex, the owner, impressed me by his attention to detail while giving a free estimate (we had 5 estimates).  His was not the lowest estimate received; however, I knew I was hiring a company with integrity that would do a great job.  Most of my estimates asked for 50% of job cost up front.  Alex asked for 1/3 up front - 1 month before beginning the job.  Alex was attentive to the project, to my questions/calls and to his employees.  Lorenzo was the worker who did 90-95% of the on-site work and a beautiful job he did!!  He was accurate, thoughtful, and very skilled.  He always cleaned up at the end of the day.  The project results were just what we wanted--an excellent job!  Alex made sure everything was to his satisfaction at the end of the job, still looking at the details which was great.  Sequoia provided a high quality results with fair cost lovely patio/walkway, and we could not be happier with the results.  I would recommend Sequoia highly.

I had a rough sketch of what I wanted and Alex was able to turn it into a design, suggest colors to fit with my existing patio, determine the appliance requirements and build a spectacular outdoor kitchen.  He and his crew were always prompt and courteous and thoroughly cleaned up after their work.  He maintained regular communication regarding what he was doing and when subcontractors for plumbing, electrical, gas and granite counter tops would be onsite. I can't say enough good things about Alex, his workers or the kitchen they built.

The work turned out perfect! The cost was good. The company has extreme integrity, is punctual, honest, helpful in making decisions, kind, and friendly. I couldn’t say anything better about this person. He was just amazing, skilled, and precise. I would hire them again and recommend them to others.
