Amazing!! They explained exactly what was going to happen step by step and had so much patience with me and all the questions I had. They got the job done and I was extremely satisfied with their work. And I very much appreciated that they were very professional and did not have music blaring as they worked (which is something I’ve had to deal with in the past with other companies and I was not pleased). Above all I was impressed by the boss, he took time to come to my house to give me an exact quote and pointed out exact plants that would have to be dug up if I didn’t want them to be ruined.

Oregon Woodsmen sent us what they call a super-crew (9 guys in total). They showed up on time at 8 and were ready to go and cutting by 8:30. We had two very large cedars (50'+) that were situated on a slope and overhanging our rose beds taken down to ground level. The skill and professionalism they demonstrated while they removed our tress was amazing. The care they gave to not damaging a well-established rose bed and the existing landscaping on the slope below them was exceptional. When they left our landscaping looked more manicured than before they started. All the debris was removed and they were done and gone by 1:30... I still can't believe they did all they did in such a short time. They were friendly to my kids who were watching the whole time. And, most importantly, as they accessed and worked above my neighbor's property they were respectful and considerate, leaving things undamaged and restored. My neighbor said it looked like they'd never been there. Excellence in action... the Oregon Woodsmen way. Thanks!

Work was done quickly and efficiently and at a very reasonable price.

Got an estimate in April which I felt was fair as always when I have used them in the past. Dilemma comes when I call to schedule work in early June and the earliest time they have is mid September. Needed work done sooner to start a construction project.

I called many tree service companies since the ice storm, and this was one of 4 who gave me an estimate. The crew that did the work were prompt, explained what they were doing and why, and welcomed my input. We are pleased with how it turned out. The owner also gave me advice on another tree that didn't require any work on their part. The final charge matched the estimate.

Ryan provides a quick response/very reasonable bid from initial inquiry. On the day of service, workers were timely and extremely professional. While doing the work, they worked fast but most importantly safe. They were alway cognitive of falling limbs to prevent damage to surrounding objects such as home, fence, and shed. The workers provided outstanding clean up. Overall service was superb and will highly refer others to use this local business.

The three woodsmen Joe, Troy and Brad were very hard working. They took care of what I wanted done in two hours and cleaned up the area very well. They allowed me to watch from a safe distance too. Ryan did the estimate beforehand so I knew the costs up front. I asked for an additional small tree to be done on the work day, after the estimate had been done earlier and was not charged more, which was nice. Maybe I got a senior discount! The men were on time and very pleasant. Most importantly, they were careful, safe and knowledgable about trees.

Three 30+ year old maples, and attendant stump grinding went quickly, smoothly and at the lowest price of the three bids I received through Angie's List. All their equipment was topnotch and I should've sold tickets to my neighbors who were all fascinated by the robotic stump grinder. All told they took about 4.5 hours from beginning to end and though I will miss the trees (**** HOA) the experience was quite painless. Everyone I dealt with was courteous and helpful. I highly recommend these guys and I have already done so with my neighbors who are requiring the same services.

I called Oregon Woodsmen for a quote to have about a dozen trees of various sizes removed. Most were either close to the house or other structures. They came promptly, provided a very fair estimate, so I decided to proceed. Service was scheduled about 2 weeks out. They arrived on time, brought some extra guys out, and got the work done faster than originally estimated. They followed up a few days later to grind out the stumps. Everything was as hoped for. No damage to the house or any nearby structure. Good job cleaning up the job site. Rubin was very easy to work with. Will definitely use them again.

I highly recommend this company. When I called for an estimate I received a quick response. They sent someone the next day to look at the project. They were very upfront about possible challenges. The corkscrew willow in the back yard was close to a power box and the fence, so they were a bit concerned that stump grinding would be difficult. They were very upfront about the fact they may not be able to grind all the way down to ground level, but they would do their best. I received estimate quickly, and was able to schedule the work within about a week. On day of work a crew of three arrived right on time. They were friendly and efficient. They were very careful when taking down the tree and cleaned up afterward. They also checked with me about the trimming of the tree in the front yard, to be sure I was happy with the overall shape of the tree when they were finished. The price is right as well. They were significantly cheaper than other services I interviewed. I strongly recommend them, and I would hire them again.

I had an appointment within a couple weeks of the estimate and the 3 man crew showed up right on time & started work. One was in the basket up in the tree & the other two guided the removed limbs by ropes to a safe location for cutting into firewood lengths & chip up all the brush trash. They made 3 piles of the wood & then two of the workers left for the next job, and left one to do the grinding. The stump grinder was remote controlled--which was fascinating to watch--and all was cleaned up before the last guy left. They even blew the sawdust chips off the roof & out of the gutters.

Well, would hire yet, this is the third time in a row in the last 3 years.

I am very impressed with Woodsman. They were punctual and answered any questions before starting. Very professional. As a team they worked very well together and knew their role. They were neat and tidy and cleaned up the yard afterwards. I would definitely have them again.

Nice job trimming trees. Cut large branches into rounds to be split for firewood. Some were a bit too large

These guys worked VERY hard, and are truly professional. I wish all my contractor experiences were so pleasant!
